Any reason why some things wouldn't be accurate when Witch Queen gets dropped like stats being reworked or something or just not knowing if anything huge would change in WQ? Thanks for the video!
All of my homies stopped playing because they got caught up with their own lives. This was back in release, maybe just a year after. We went flawless in Trials of the Nine, did some raids together, speed ran, and had so much fun. We logged off for all these years and now I've reunited with a couple of them and we are about to get the ball rolling again. This video couldn't have come at a better time
Hey congrats! Destiny can be a very hard game to get back into because there’s so much to do, but this is definitely a game you need friends to play with
@@orangepasta99 I wouldn't say need. I've been a solo player since 2015 and it has worked out pretty well. It's definitely more fun with friends though
@@lahoudtouma185 Thats very true. Ive been a solo player for most of my career up until recently when some of my friends started playing. I definitely agree that solo playing can be fun, but I should've reworded it.
@@orangepasta99 btw do you think it's worth hopping back into destiny 2? I suddenly felt the urge to start playing but then I remembered that I need to pay 60$ again for ps+, 20$ for beyond light, and 10$ for the season pass. Seems kind of hard to justify playing the game again for that amount of money tbh. But has there also been any new rumors regarding destiny 3? If a sequal to the second game is coming, then that might be a better purchase.
@@lahoudtouma185 Personally, I think its worth it. I play on xbox, so all the DLCs come free with game pass. The season pass is not necessary for your gameplay expirence, as all the exoctics that can be earned will be sold in the kiosk during future seasons. If you are a D1 player which I am not you could look forward to Vault of Glass coming back next season, as well as all the original raid weapons. The Witch Queen, Lightfall, and an unannounced DLC are all coming in their respective years. Stasis is a bit broken right now, but its also locked behind the Beyond light expansion, just like the following darkness subclasses will be locked behind their DLCs. Like you said, they can be expensive but they are critical to the gameplay. Sorry for the long response but in the end I would say its up to you, but I would give it a shot, especially if your friends are coming back.
Other than overly complicating the light level system (especially for beginners whos main concern is experiencing the game and not rushing to end game content) I'd say this is a very good introduction to the game. Might recommend it to friends if they're looking to getting into the game.

@@Freedom-kl8rt and that's what I don't like. You pay for content that's gunna get removed within a year and they recycle old content from Destiny 1 and call it "new". That's why I went to Warframe.

I don't know what to do In this game. I wanna buy it because I use to play f2p alot but there's not enough content to make me sway my opinion. I can't play any raids or strikes. I can't even get good looking gear.
@@jatensubii I mean you can get good looking gear I’m f2p and mine looks decent I just use ornaments from Ada-1, that and I infuse when I get a higher power level so I don’t have to waste enhancement cores upgrading my armor

i had such an unhealthy obsession with destiny 1 and i deleted my super high level warlock out of impulse and so i got destiny 2 when it was released but was upset and left it untouched. now im back like 3 years later and the obsession is back
get rid of it. the game makes you play at a super fast pace. the seasonal system is trash and they vaulted the majority of the good parts of the games. the game forces you to play as much as possible, because if you don't, you'll miss out on some trash content.
@@sheikboodoo2625 There’s many other videos that will help u and set u on the right direction. Coming from a Veteran player and max power player. Once u get the basic understanding of how the game works things will just go with the flow. Word of advice find some friends to play with cause it makes the game easier and way more fun. This will keep it from getting boring.
Hey guys I have some quick tips because I just made the leap between the hard and pinnacle cap, something that helped me a lot was the heroic event at the dreaming city, if you gather a friend or two or see some people there, join them and do the events. I recommend only doing the event if it’s tier III because the tier 3 event is classified as heroic and can drop pinnacle gear. I also recommend doing the nightfall strike and aiming for 100,000 points because you have a chance at a pinnacle when reaching 100,000
Thanks dude. I had all my gear leveled up to 1321 and couldn't get past that and was so confused. I saw one of my clanmates having 1325 gear and got even more confused after that. I'm so glad I came across this video, now I have all my gear up to 1325 and at the pinnacle cap now. Can't wait for the next season because the witch queen looks VERY promising Update: I love the witch queen, and I have my gear level maxed out. I'm at 1567
What he says about don't get overwhelmed is so true, take your time guys. I'm a returning player and the reason why I stopped was because I got overwhelmed with all the and tried doing it all at once.

Just started replaying yesterday so this was really useful thanks! The only thing I'm gutted about is loads of the weapons I grinded for have been removed or just taken from my vault. Like the mythoclast for example =/. Feels like some nostalgia has been stolen from me
Same. I lost literally every single piece of armor and weapon I grinded for in Destiny 1 and all my stats. Ran the VOG raid about 50 times if not more. Sucks
For those of you that are still confused about the power level/gear level, just play the game and you'll understand after a few hours. It's not that complicated.

For those who don’t understand how the power levels work, essentially it’s just the average power of all your gear and weapons. Even if you get a 1203 helmet like he said in the video, that’s not gonna be a big enough of a difference to boost up your power level, because the rest of your gear would still be at the soft cap of 1200. And since your still at the 1200 total power level, the game might give you another 1203 helmet to “help” you level up in power despite needing 1203 armor and weapons across the board to reach the 1203 power level. And then you just need to keep building up from there.

For season of the lost (AKA the current new season) the soft cap is 1270, hard cap is 1320 and the pinnacle cap is 1330 for anyone wondering :) same grind. Numbers are just a pinch higher now so you get a bit higher before starting hard cap and pinnacle
i remember i used to play destiny 1 on my ps3 but then i never played it for long time but now after i have destiny 2 with my hunter,titan,and warlock now im better with destiny 2
Dude this helped so much. I pre ordered the game and played for about a month (I didn’t finish the campaign so i was confused why it was gone when I came back) then come back and see all these new stats and abilities and story modes I didn’t even recognize. Honestly I’m fine with just reaching the soft cap because I won’t be grinding this game hardcore but i do thank you for the non-clickbait guide
@@CreamTeam3000 No, it's not any good. They sunsetted (vaulted) Warmind, Curse of Osiris, the beginning Campaign, most of the Weapons, and Forsaken. D1 is way better and I'm playing it too, you on ps4? We could do some strikes and stuff
haven’t played destiny in a while since my account got banned i had over 100 crotas end clears. and a lot of scourge of the past clears. u made a new acc and bought the game expansion again. this was so helpful
This video explained it so well that I literally don't want to play it now. Paid for base game plus season pass on launch on xbox. Stopped playing it until new light and paid for that new dlc. Ended up becoming free on gamepass. Later got a ps5 transfered my character and I literally can't play any content now. Just stuck doing base strikes.
You don't need a special weapon imo. I solo GM with 2 primarys and a heavy most of the time but maby I'm abit overpowered. Great video and everything was very clear. Keep up the good videos coming. Safe😎✌🏻
I haven’t played since the whole sunsetting ordeal. Never again will I touch the game. I simply do not have to the time to dump into it. It’s ridiculous.

I absolutely loved destiny 1 and finished it aside from raids cause I didn’t have anyone to do it with, when destiny 2 came out I thought it was okay and finished the campaign however the dlcs didn’t look very fun so I just dropped the game, is it worth coming back to in 2021?

Sometimes a good double primary build makes more sense if you have an ESCAPE VELOCITY with vorpal weapon, and overflow paired with a SEVENTH SERAPH with firmly planted and dragonfly.
I remember begging my parents to let me play destiny when I was 10 then after they said yes I pre ordered it and was so happy played everything on destiny even trails of Osiris every weekend did all the raids anything there was I did then as soon as destiny 2 was dropped I pre ordered that and was so disappointed never touched that game ever again but I have been looking for a game to play again as remembered this gem so am now installing it to play with my dad again lol lets see if i actually enjoy it.
Was obsessed with D1, played D2 through November 2018, and am now returning. It’s been too long. I was also a huge VOG runner and I’m ready to dive in again.

i bought the 120€ edition when the game came out and forsaken and now i come to pc after 4y and everything i bought is free or gone and i cant get the forsake dlc to my pc even tho its crossplay this is sad
Been playing the franchise since 2014. The fact you're here is a good sign because you like learning, thinking, and challenging yourself. If you don't like that stuff, this may not be for you.
Im new to destiny and played it my first time today and got through the basics first missions and was able to partner up with other people to do randomized missions and these two guys who were like level 250 and helped me out and im now at power 1100 or higher and I am so thankful
I hate to say it but it’s really the only way to get more content. They only give out so much for free. If you do enjoy the game it is worth it for the dlc
Played original Destiny and destiny 2 the first year it came out. Now I’m starting fresh trying to get back into it. This video definitely helped a lot
I'm totally disgusted to your [Destiny 2: 5 Tips Every New/Returning Player Should Know! (Leveling, Armor Stats, Loadouts, Exotics)]. Without telling to the New/Returning Players about the sunsetting (system) gears and weapons. (A) That your time investment is not well respected. because of the sunsetting (system) meaning when your gears and weapons will be obsolete for the next season. (B) For example, what if you finally get the god-roll weapon that you really like or love so much but the season has 10 days left remaining and then the god-roll weapon that you farm hours, days and months will be obsolete. (C) Destiny 2 is not friendly to casual players or new/returning players. [Destiny 2] Not Recommended for casual players or new/returning players.
I just started with D2 last week again and I'm still lost as soon as I log in because I don't know what to do first :') there's just SO much ahhh I'm so glad I just found this video. Everything is so confusing for me. Hopefully this can help
