@@chancewest4234 we are resurrected my guy. It literally says in lore that we the guardian and Ana exist. The dark future is about our allies following dark paths in an attempt to save us all. It's not caused by us not existing. Nor does it mean we don't. Because lore states we do

@@xXx_Regulus_xXx She's only made guesses. She has studied timelines and the darkness for a while now, but still they are theories. It's a well known fact that if something is inevitable, nothing can change it. You can change all if your actions, and do entirely different things, and still face the end. Elsie understands this but not entirely, her saying we aren't in that future because of our actions not matching means nothing. There could be multiple dark futures all zeroing in on us with only one window to survive, and nothing we do can stop it. That's why timelines are hard to study, they can change on a dime from a single domino falling differently.

she doesn't "jump" timelines, she changes timelines once she dies or fails. just how it works.

I don’t think she used the traveler to time travel, because if it had that power then why didn’t it stop the first collapse from happening?

@@ChaoticPsychoR Probably because the Collapse has to be avoided a certain way where all the pieces are together like...chess. Which is what the Winnower and Gardener are said to be playing.

We most likely will lose in lightfall. I think we will be disconnected from the light and we will have to use the darkness. We have been in denial of the Travelers intentions for awhile.

Or Elsie gets corrupted and the Traveler sends us back in time. Would also be a great way to have a send off for characters like Cayde. Also it would be a great opportunity for Bungie re-use assets, which their known to do 😂

Chances are we don’t “lose” in lightfall, most likely the witness just escapes and the plot of Y6 is finding it until the final shape

@@aceellis1660 no way they are going to just disconnect the player base from the light abilities. Not after all they time they spent this year revamping them. Also if they do the very lame thing they did back in year one of destiny with the light I would be very upset.

A cloud is just a gas. It has no specific makeup. Our clouds on earth are made of water molecules, but can contain other chemicals. If you're asking about Neptune, it's a giant cloud, there's a small mass of matter at the bottom, but it is mostly chemical clouds. The moon's are moons, and can contain clouds. It's not the planets density, or anything like that that matters. As long as there are gravitational forces and airborne molecules, clouds can form. It's most common in atmospheres with moisture or heavy chemical compositions. I'm fact the atmosphere itself is what determines the density of clouds. Which is why Neptune is entirely covered in clouds and storms, the chemical makeup is so thick, they condense into clouds, and the whirlwind of such activity creates storms as there is no mass on the planet to cause shifts in flow. Making it a prime floating city hideout for the Cloud walkers. Nothing knew of it's existence because it was hidden in a veil of chemical clouds and storms. Until the info got leaked... Point is this is a question a 12 year old asks when he's first learning about planets. If you know how our clouds work, you know how other clouds work. Everything's based in the same reality, even in destiny. We explore different realities but focus on our own because it's the one we live in, meaning were affected. We use the other realities to spy and learn our enemies. So the clouds work like the clouds have always worked. Terraforming is a simple concept, hard execution type thing. Moons are especially hard if the gravitational pull is too high on the planets grav well. No atmosphere can be created if the gravity of the moon's planet is too high. It also cannot be created without foundation of life and minerals

We dont have access to terraforming. The traveler did the terraforming of the planets. We have no way of controlling the traveler itself.

My interpretation from what she said in Beyond Light is that the darkness uses people’s obsessions/impulses like greed and selfishness to “convert” them, that’s what it seemed she was implying when she was talking to is about wielding stasis. Also I think she’s been in so many timelines they all have failed in different ways and for different things, not just one thing the darkness always does to win, the last conversation she had with Osiris she said it’s always down to choice, the choices we make that cause us to fail but I do agree it’s hard to believe that someone that’s lived through multiple timelines repeatedly doesn’t have some kind of knowledge that’s not previously known yet, or some details of what can happen and should be done to prevent it. Especially someone who has been around since the collapse and lived during the golden age as a Bray and scientist, she should have some knowledge of golden age tech or whatever that could help humanity.

uh....whut? i suggest you re-read your lore carefully. Elsie is good and wants to stop the dark timelines from happening, period. Darkness ISN'T evil, the Nine told us as much, both dark and Light are needed to survive what's to come.

People think we are heading to a dark future, but I don't think so, I think we are heading somewhere different or our future is depends on what we choose
