Update, the shotgun total value numbers are a little bit off for some reason in the video so writing this up here as well (about 8% difference in actual results) Hit Values Heritage: 24543 (first hit can be buffed with Recombination as well) First In, Last Out: 26881 Anarchy: 150990 (10s) Cloudstrike: 157386 (7 bullets+storms) Mos Epoch: 43438 Totals (30s) Heritage+Filo+Anarchy = 1,481,450~ total damage (a little bit less due to anarchy early reapply) Heritage+Cloudstrike+Mos Epoch = 1,129,954
for both of these you can tie these with mask of bakris since it gives an arc damage buff, and all these weapons (aside from kinetic) are arc. do you think the increase in dps from lightswitch would cover replacing celestial?
Ik this is pretty late but remember u can still use another high damage super such as blade barrage or 3 shot golden gun with mask of bakris and let someone using stasis slow the enemy for that 20 percent damage also blade barrage or 6 shot golden don't do precision damage so with divinity they are really good.
@Dworim did you ever add in the numbers from the arc cloud from cloudstrike? alongside the fact that with divinity every single shot will create a new cloud due to the fact that the double lightning from the cloud is two crits already
If people are wanting to maximize the best load out for dps vs Taniks Cloudstrike is harder because of the final stand mechanic of the boss teleporting at the end and Anarchy makes it so much easier to finish out the round. I mean just try using Cloudstrike on console to kill Taniks in the final stand. It's doable but super annoying to do it. So IMO people can argue the dps numbers all they want to for Taniks the biggest difference maker is which one can be more consistent and I find Succession with FILO and Anarchy to be the best load out for the encounter. Succession is beast at getting the cores to drop plus isn't bad dps with the hot swap technique you can even hip fire the sniper with divinity and wait for Auto Loading Holster to reload FILO, then you still have top dps with Anarchy and FILO while remaining consistent for the damage during final stand AND Anarchy is a great way to clear adds in the encounter to even get to damage phase. Haven't had a raid group yet where I wasn't top of the board in kills and damage.
@@Jay600D I know how to snipe but double slug or slug sniper is way superior to the cloudstrike and it's not even close. It's just not even comparable to this boss. Yes Cloudstrike can get it down but I have yet to have anyone out DPS me with it and plenty of people have raided or put more time into Beyond Light than I have. Anarchy slug is just more consistent, easier to use and the DPS is un touchable against this boss.
@@thorn0203 I have no issue with double slug. It's the other people that I raid with who do. Ultimately double slug isn't even necessary so it doesn't even matter.
