Today we received some new lore on Riven and Nezarec. The Nezreac info reveals some long awaited answers regarding how Disciples are created, The Origin of Tormentors and Nezarec’s Sin. Also we learn Mithrax has the Curse Of Nezarec!

mithrax as a lightbearer does actually sound like an interesting notion, especially given that his affliction was caused by a sacrifice he made for others - something the traveller looks for in its guardians

Watch their be a duality between mithrax potentially becoming a lightbearer and eramis becoming a scorn post final shape. It would truly be heartbreaking regardless if either of these 2 would become scorn.

Eramis being scorned would hurt. She has been trying to redeem herself and work against the witness. I see her being a potential candidate for a lightbearer she knows sacrifice. If she dies protecting mithrax that’s imo a worthy sacrifice to become a lightbearer

Same. Mithrax and Eido are among my favorite characters in D2, on par with Cayde and Saint. Hell , "Season of the Splicer" is the only one I completed fully and gotten the badge for (bought the real thing as well as a memento). So if something happens to him or his daughter, there's gonna be hell to pay.

There are many people that know him who could fill him in with details of his past but maybe a clean slate would be less painful than being told all the evil stuff he did in the past

We’ve seen him in the trailers but he could die in the pale heart. Imagine he dies saving us from the witness or a reborn rhulk or nezarec. I hope if he does die they bring him back as a guardian. He’s been an ally of us since the start of d2. We saved him from a knight and he let us leave titan without conflict as respect for this.

No he was still Cabal when he died and as Witness entered the Traveller right after he died the Witness has no body to resurrect him as a Dread

Calus is still cabal he was nothing more than a tool. Nezarac and rhulk are true disciples of the witness. Calus was just a tool to gain access to the veil

Isn't mithrax also experiencing pain in his arm due to a vex corruption? I'm sure I heard in a lore video that's the case. I know he has a target on his back from the vex due to his intrusion into the vex network.

so nezarec was created from Rhulk and his DNA? or was he put through a similar "training" or accomplish the same feat to become a disciple? Because Rhulk essentially became the final shape of his species and thats how he became a disciple, genocide his planet. Wouldn't it be the same for nezarec? seems kind of lame if hes just a chimera being made from other species and majority of rhulks traits.

I hope that if Misraaks becomes a Guardian, that in D3 whenever released, we get playable Eliksni Guardians. Because you know i’m maining and Eliksni Guardian.
