if you got LeMonaque, slap the overload perk on it and melt away at Overloads, they wont stand a chance (literally, a grunt enemy has a better chance against you)
@@josueramos7220 it's a good idea. When the post was made bows didn't have a mod that could stop overload champions though. But that lingering damage does great to healing targets
You forgot the most important thing: you need to be around level 1230 to be able to do what you’re referring to or else you don’t do enough damage and you get melted easily. I’m sure many will brag about how they did a 1280 at power level 1060 (or other such nonsense) but, on average, most players can’t do that. Level up to at least 1230 and THEN do what KackisHD has recommended.
I was wondering how Witherhoard would work alongside Stasis. Seemed like a good combo to me. First time I log in the gun is locked so I'm like 'well I guess we'll find out later then'...
For my first legendary lost sector, I used sacred provenance for ad clear and barrier champs, divinity for bigger enemies and overload champs, and once the champions were stunned, I actually used the new linear fusion rifle for damage.
lol yeah 1217 here, tried the concealed void one in asterion abyss when it was 1250 thinking ya know maybe i can hang and get close to finishing it at least. nope killed 4 dudes , lost all my respawns and let the first champion mop me up.
@@Manuel-px4qw yea, I tried around the same level. Waited till about 1262 with a couple master works and my risk runner. Might take longer but I do it solo
same here, one of the first beta testers on pc and not one raid run, i found 1250 lost sectors extremily hard so i have no hope doing 1280, there goes more exotics i cant earn, tbh the next season i'm gonna give it a miss, bungie seem to be focusing on team play and being a solo player is a real kick in the teeth, thanks for nothing bungie :(
I found the Hardlight rifle to be really invaluable in these, being able to swap elements to rip shields off adds was so helpful to me. Then a pulse rifle I barely use which should probably be a shotgun and a God roll guillotine. Still haven't gotten any of the new exotics but now I can actually get through them, and I don't have tons of masterworked armor or raid exotics

Yep, and i think Outbreak Perfected (big + if you have the catalyst) is way more efficient than No Time To Explain ! Massive damage against champ (or even boss if you have a lot of ammo and patience) and for the ads it just shred them, especially if you manage to kill all, or almost, of them with critical damage !
If you're on a Titan and using a sword, Stronghold is a fantastic exotic. Block when the boss stomps and not only block the damage, but if timed right, heal back to full or near full.
There's only ever 2 champion types, run solar grenades for overload and a pulse/smg for barriers and last tree gives access to unstoppable shotgun rounds, that's all 3 types in 1 build. The exotics were just suggestions for optimal dps
@@bigfsi_smite777 you're projecting. You obviously hate yourself. You can get to hard cap(1250) if you've been grinding one character. Have several friends that run one and are at 1250 cap. 2 makes it easier and 3, obviously, makes it the best power farm.
Use armor mods that help with the weapons of choice. You don’t need super good weapons and meta weapons, just use whatever you can find. I’m able to do it with crimson and the adored sniper with a sword, just use a lot of mods that help out with whatever load out you use. The main mods to use will be scavenger for the specific weapon, and would be unstoppable/overload/etc mods to help get rid of champions, without the mods you can’t get rid of them.
@@Wheretheicecreamatinthisjoint any smg that you can get a good roll on. You want range/stability, overflow is good, and just try to find something that can fit your playstyle.
Personally i’d wait til you’re at least within 20 light of the recommended. I went in to a 1250 as a 1210 and could barely kill ads. Champions were pretty much untouchable.
Witherhoard is back use guillotine and a scout for overload plus the solar/stasis artifact grenade class item basically unlimited grenades everytime you disrupt them get another 🙃, barrier are easy to take down with guillotine if you have the spec (major/boss) from banshee more dps, you should be able to push through a 1250 when your minimum 1230.. Don't follow cheeses or glitches, try to actually earn it properly. I got the mantles at 4 clears hard work but enjoyed the challenge
Being under light level is making this my nightmare, still haven't got any of the new exotics. I tried everything but basically every champion hits like a drake
I legit have been using Riskrunner non-stop. This hast to be my favourite exotic and the most fun I've had with it. Sure I died like 100 times by willingly dumping myself with Radiolaria and running into the line of Hive Wizards and Fallen. Lol I just realised that this has nothing to do with the video but still I'm happy about it. Thanks and good day.
Didn't realize you needed Beyond Light for the new exotics. Got geomag, luna's, and a transversive steps while trying to get the boots of the assembler.
I have all the old weapons you showed here (except the whirlwind sword and the Anarchie) but since I didn’t play for 1 year non of my hard earned legendaries like the Ikelos weapons can go over 1060....I need to use new weapons which are mostly not that good
im at 1237 and i could do it with a truthteller, seventh seraph carbine and lament. running status with thermal overload. it seemed to work but all of a sudden my lament wasnt working anymore, i thought it was nerfed but it wasnt.
The grenade doesn’t always proc to guarantee a disruption. There is somewhat of a cool down period so feel the champion our first before you spam grenades.
Don't worry about it. Stasis is very powerful. Riskrunner, Montecarlo, Izanagi, trinity ghoul, no time to explain, anything with demolitionist, world wind blade swords, any super/ability enhancing exotics are your friends. Don't forget to use gun and Armour mods
yeah this is fine when you're of level. these guides arent for the people who are way below level. no one is going to shot gun a champion when they are 1218-1220 power. thats just dumb
@@izanagi7798 they can be done at 1220, it just isn't efficient enough if you want to farm for the exotic. May as well spend your time getting to 1235 as you said then farm.
Quick tip: Ikelos shotgun and hand cannon can be obtained easily from the prophecy dungeon smg and sniper are random drops. (Thanks for the fix @damonte Nelson)
Likely on level. I only get exotics on powerful drops, its frankly annoying as shit because I was getting showered on my warlock with powerful drop exotics and you can put on more then one which hinders my power leveling.
For new players who don’t have all the vaulted exotics, I’d recommend NTTE with the Pulse Rifle shield mod, that grenade duo with either a stasis or solar subclass, and whatever heavy you have that deals the most damage. Secondary should probably be either a shotgun or sniper, depending on how much range you’ll have on your enemies in the lost sector you’re attempting. Should be pretty easy as long as you’re even somewhat close to the recommended light.
Hey so i've tried solo-ing the lost sector today, the one showed the most in this video. The Overload captains always teleport out of my grenades so I don't get the refresh. Then I have to wait like a minute every time it happens and I'm slow at the boss so I run out of time. Any tips on making sure they don't teleport out of my grenade? They ALWAYS do it feels like Except the 2nd one. That one doesn't have enough room to move. I actually watched and it triggered for Kackis after the teleport. Hasn't happened for me. Makes me kinda mad ngl.
Its not even a guaranteed drop thats the worst part of it. You could grind it for hours and get a blue. I would instantly go into rage mode n start bouncing controllers around the room.
Funny I used the swarm grenade for hunter and was farming nightfall and the teleporting vex still TP'd through it BECAUSE of swarms delay from the time it opens to following, I consistently would mess it up despite waiting. Sticky or instant aoe grenades would be best
Equip LeMonarque, Equip RL Element Heavy for which ever enemy element is featured most in the Sector, and Equip your class according to the Burn (Monarque will burn champions regardless of which ones you're dealing with but will (in this season melt-away Overloads since the stacking damage also inflicts stunt damage the second it comes up)
Yup. I always do Izanagi, Guillotine, and then switch the 2ndary weapon between jian-7, last perdition, or that solar submachine gun. Izanagi kills everything super fast, especially bosses

Just a heads up, Duskfield grenades allow Overload Champs to heal. The DoT doesn't actually do anything to the health BUT if you are stun locking them you can easily finish them off with heavy or special ammo.
Im not exactly the best at these kinds of things and you make it look so easy, but I actually managed to do the heroic in candy's ridge with this guide. I use Izanagi, ikelos and guillotine. Izanagi can 2 to 3 shot the boss woth catalyst homed edge precision shots EDIT: Used this same loadout to do Master Bunker15. To anyone who doest know, warmind cells blow open every containment unit freeing your robot companions UPDATE Used same method in Exodus Garden 2A legendary, hardest part is breaking purple shields at boss

Witherhoard + antibarrier smg or pulse + falling guillotine works wonders. Combine that with the mod that makes solar and stasis grenades disrupt overload and you will sweep through everything
More then a month ago there was a season where we killed the almighty and farmed god rolls of perfect paradox n ikelois smgs.... then we sat through a multiple hour real time event and shot down the almighty.... so to punish us more for all our farming to take out the almighty they sunset all the weapons we just farmed... then to really really hurt us they removed all the mods from raids that would be really helpful like fallen armaments and fallen barrier. Then Bungie said “Come at me now motherf%*€r!!!”
I love the fact that as a new player that decided to try it out with the ps5 update i get no campaign which i was sure the game launched with and a couple strikes with 80% of the game locked behind dlc

Tried it out at being under light and super deep load out and was stoked I got 7 kills and the first champion as that damage coming back at you just slaps 😂 be trying again tonight to cheese it and get ma loot 😁
I'm gonna wait til I hit 1250 and then start tackling these lost sectors. From what I've heard, these exotics aren't "must haves". So I'm in no rush to grab them. I am excited to pick up Icefall Mantles because they got my interest the most.
I was really struggling in Perditon until I tried the Symmetry along with grenade and pulse barrier type mods. Symmetry was eating adds especially and I was 1240 light. Worked well on champs too, grenade, empty a Symmetry mag in, grenade .. rinse repeat.
I'm at lvl 1346 and I just solo'd the bunker 15 lost sector at 1350. Barrier champions are easy if you know when to stop/start shooting. The overload champion centurions I just used the bow and a sword. When you get to the last section there are 4 of them, so I just wait just before the entrance, back up when they come, arrow+coldsnap+quicksand and they weren't that much to deal with. I've done about 5 now and still haven't gotten anything...
Just a heads up there is a bug with the Duskfield Stasis grenade (the AOE slowing one) with the overload champions it does stun them with that mod but it also actually heals them. Coldsnap grenade is probably the best choice for that build right now.
The Adorded wpuld also be a good sniper to use in energy considering it has triple tap and vorpal so if you slap an extended mag onto it you can hit a clean 7 crits rather than the 5
