Savathun by far has the best voice actor in history. It made her my favorite character. I'm legit hoping she isn't made into a gun. I hope she becomes something else that we can still talk to.

he already is a powerhouse. even if he had to fight with cabal on his side in the red war, he would get the job done. the only one he wouldn't fight with is rasputin. at least that is the vibe i get. he is a soldier and a damn good one. point him in a direction and he will bring back all the heads that were in that direction

@@notoffensivenpc8400 you’re correct he follows orders even if he absolutely despises them but I’m talking more than that, freeing himself from his guilt and putting a bit of trust elsewhere. The mans as rock solid as they come but also unbelievably cold And while I can’t necessarily blame him given what he’s been through there is a ridiculous amount of growth that can take place and elevating of an already legendary character to something more.

@@tomahtopotahto8084 i would prefer if saladin remained cold as hell. destiny has this thing where all the good guys need to be kinda "flawless", like they can have the flaws of "oh he is a bit cranky" but they can't have an actual flaw that morally greys them out. a good example is saint. saint had the flaw that he was a racist towards fallen. he was the entire kkk against the fallen for years, slaughtering them all regardless of if they were a king, warrior, women or child. that is a flaw that really cuts saint down a peg. and then they just say yeah saint now liked fallen. it's not pushed, but it did kinda turn saint into a flawless idol. same with crow. when he was rezzed as a guardian, all of uldren's negative characteristics went out the window, aside of his arrogance, turning him into a mary sue. i just feel like we need more characters that aren't all sunshine and rainbows that go through spots of negativity. i guess i want characters that are dicks and assholes for good reasons. that is why i like saladin and the drifter, and i really liked asher. all of them have gone through hell. they have faced losses to a very extreme degree, and yet, although they are scarred mentally and physically from it, they still perservere. saladin may be cold, guilt ridden and very close minded, and drifter may be a coward and sus af, probably wishing he could bail us most of the time, but they still stick with us. as for asher, despite there being no cure for his ailment, he fought with tooth and claw to keep helping until he decided to stay and seal off the pyramidion and turn himself into a vex. all of it to save the last city and aid the "assistant" he had been a dick to since day one.
