So, now that Drop Box has been released, you can see the missing part ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--vYA4Es_BqE.html We used that IRB route to join mad without needing to do the ridiculous sparrow acrobatics and infinite flight. We then found you could summon sparrows in Quarantine Sector, where it was FAR easier to set up a drop box.
I believe the Guardian statues are used by Environment developments to get an idea on scaling for the player I remember when that Shadowkeep strike on Io was found that there were statues everywhere
I can imagine that the guardian statues are used for scale by the level designers. When making a map, scale may quickly get away from you, if you don’t have a reference.
@@Ceelker Definitely strange. Hopefully the dataminers can figure out when the statues were added. Or maybe they don't show up when it's set up for the mission? Definitely odd.
man, seeing the Shard upclose and all those stone hexagons... words cannot describe the feeling. you guys are the GOATs of the Destiny 2 RU-vid community.
Indeed. I showed with the barriers since you're most likely not going to be on that strike to do it. Arms Dealer has the only semi-viable auto rez we know of so far. Plus the darkness zone is annoying XD
I'm probably never going to do this, as I play on console, but this has to be the most interesting and well explained Destiny video I've seen. Chapeau!
With any luck, we'll get a full EDZ auto rez before then. Arms Dealer would give you like 30 seconds or so, but I'm not sure how to get back from Maevic without dying to get back to Dark Forest. Those silly blue barriers... If we didn't need to dip into Hangman's Pass, you could through stasis on all spawn points past the blue barrier and you'd be fine, but the zone transition complicates things...
@@Froggy618157725 I wonder if there's some way to get out of the hawkmoon mission to have those auto rezzes. That and Arms Dealer feel like the only two options but I'm sure someone will figure something out before long. Still really amazing to see all the progress anyways, who would have thought this would all be possible a few months back?
@@AkoAA the first bits of hawk moon also aren't part of a darkness zone - it seems almost perfect as an auto rez source assuming that there is some way to hit the load to the normal EDZ from the mission.
@@zenithseeker7 right? It feels like there would be some way to get back and have one or two people hit auto rez points while you go oob. I might check things out with friends when I get the chance.
Indeed. Gerbsnail has a few D1 IRB videos up. I forget if he's done Kings Fall. Or is that one that's in an isolated instance like GoS? I didn't play D1, so I dunno. But IRB can be used to get to most places, particularly in D1 with self rez.
Are there any IRB/OOBs that can get the user to Rocketyard at the Cosmodrone? Purpose: To OOB to King's Watch to see if it exists and if King's Watch exists, then it is to see if the Ultra Captain is there.
Rocketyard doesn't exist in patrol, so the only auto rezes available would be within that strike. Idk if there is one, but I haven't checked. For most of Cosmodrome, you can use dropping into Saber Strike boss room.
I don't get it. What's the point of setting the ghost in the Camp? Why can't you just start doing the things at Sludge? Also what is IRB I cannot find the definition of this anywhere.
I added a link to my IRB playlist in the description. In short, in an IRB allows you to save your ghost location in one zone and move it to another. Someone can either rez you there, or trigger an auto rez. It's a very powerful technique to escape "the box", the set of push barriers that keeps you within a certain distance of the normal map. In this video, I show two possible locations you can use to IRB out of box in Dark Forest. The first option is easy, but not as useful. The second is much harder, but far closer to interesting locations. Dying to the load moves your ghost to the last spot you died at, if it's a valid ghost position. You don't want to do the step at the Gulch until you have set your ghost location by dying in one of the two locations I showed. If your ghost isn't set right, it will show up in the normal hallway at the beginning of Dark Forest, where you'll be if you respawn yourself. You'll need a mission trigger or ally to rez you to be out of box in Dark Forest. Currently the only auto rez we know for EDZ is killing the Arms Dealer boss before the top of the ramp to avoid joining allies.
SO... I couldnt find my previous comment but i have now learnt to sparrow fly but I just can't get the blade barrage over the blue barrier to work.. Any ideas (I don't understand the titan route past the stasis melee bit)
High jump, and the timing is important. I forget what it is exactly. I'd have to rewatch my video XD You can use the drop box glitch to skip the whole thing though, and just so a bunch of sparrow flying instead. If you're aiming for Galaxy Pools or Quarantine Sector, you're better off doing the direct IRB, or learning the infinite flight route. I'm still working on the route/vids for that, and it's only 30 seconds, but that doesn't require infinite flying.
Been watching ur vids for a while and doing my own fare share of OOBing, was wondering if u had a discord for OOBing? Right now i’m trying to find a way into the salt mines.
is it possible to check out that Dark Forest looking area behind the Salt Mines that you can see if you are OOB? I alway thought it was the original Quarantine Sector, but there are walls and barriers in the way so it was never possible to get to that I know of
Froggy618157725 if you are OOB in Salt Mines you can see a bunch of blue lights in a dimly lit area with poorly rendered buildings, which I initially thought was a part of the Dark Forest, for some reason I assumed Quarantine Sector. After having another look around there, it seems like it's just Maevic Square, I never considered the direction I was facing. There is a big light waterfall sort of thing to the left of it, though, which I'm not sure of
Quarantine Sector 236 is where we’ll be getting corruption subclasses. Our third subclasses came from the dark forest close by and the area was intended to prevent corruption from spreading, hence quarantine.
Interdimensional Rez Breach. Ice got a playlist of it. It's using saving a ghost location and using it later in any map region. ru-vid.com/group/PL-Jm0PO8OYJQ5OLUYvtbZQXkFbVC_Tuzg There's enough interesting stuff in this game to keep going for quite a while. Plus every new zone is another to break out of XD
Is it possible to reach the Pool through Dark Forest as a warlock? I've only seen you do it as a Thundercrash titan, and then mad's video of no-resummon sparrow flying into a Shiver Strike to hit the loading zone from the tractor beam.
Provided you can get to the platform I showed for the IRB, it's all a question of distance, height, and how low the tractor beam reaches. The tractor beam seems to drag you towards a line that pulls into the load. It also pulls way past the load, so if you hit it too far along, it'll take you away from it. If it extends under the box, then warlock could trivially make it with dawn blade and Sacred Dawn ADSing since any height loss would be fixed by the tractor beam, so long as it doesn't intersect with the box.
So where was this instance of Quarantine Sector 236 normally used? I don't recall ever seeing stuff like the downed harvester or that big building next to where you got inside bounds.
I think it was used when you obtained some subclasses. Been way too long for me to remember which ones. I'd have to go through old RU-vid playthroughs. Some used Dark Forest, a few passed by Quarantine Sector. The first one used Spark mission Blackened Forest/Quarantine Sector.
@@Froggy618157725 I guess it would have been the Forsaken/middle tree ones, then. I didn't have Forsaken until after they were given to all players, so I wouldn't know for sure.
Higher fps probably helps. And going quickly, like, not waiting around when you're close to the load. With pre nerfed stasis melee, I got it every time. I'm not as consistent now :(
@@Froggy618157725 hmm, velocity might be a factor. I was dashing with dawnblade and death was rare. Do you know of any consistent areas to get killed on load? I've been experimenting with a self rez technique but setting this one up has a failure rate of like 95% for me...
@@largerfiend That'd be pretty good. Most loads you can approach from behind have consistent deaths. Can also help to hug walls. If you check my other IRB videos, those death spots should all be either relatively reliable, or very fast to retry.
Hey froggy, I bet you get asked this alot, but is there an oob or glitch way or some current way to get into the Hall of two souls to be able to get the egg?
Yes. You can solo Morgeth with Shiver Shake. Just use the solar version so it's fast, and yeet Morgeth off. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rzncU81G1mQ.html
@@Naydog101 I don't think so. You need to do it like 15 times. Eat grenade, die with jump activated. Checking any menues or having anyone leave or join, or wiping will reset all progress, and it'll be a few before it's noticable.
@@Froggy618157725 ok thanks 😊 I actually got it working both ways and got Morgoth to move, but his stomp keeps pushing me back, is there a limit or good number to try and get to to push him the best?
Yup. I have clip of it in there, and mad has video of the tail end of the journey on his channel. I definitely can't pull that off myself currently, but I believe it may be sword flyable from the Maevic Square IRB spot. I'll definitely letcha know if I get a chance to test that. If we had a good EDZ auto rez, it might even be "easy".
I wish, but they're gone entirely, other than the hatches. And the death barrier is re-raised so you can't even easily hit the load zones which no longer exist.
I never knew Hangman's Pass was blocked by a barrier. I loaded into the strike late and way behind my fireteam so I just went off exploring and I ended up on that radio tower. Didn't think anything of it other than "I don't remember this place" lol
So I did the titan method and I did everything right but when I revived I was just still inside the lost sector, is there a next step I don’t know about or???
Hm. Not sure what you mean... The Titan method would be getting under Maevic with Henry's route, and then sword flying to Hangman's Pass. CloudLXXXV has a vid with that somewhere (flying to Hangman's Pass from near Lake of Shadows). If you spawn yourself after setting up the IRB, you'll only spawn in the default spawn of Dark Forest. You need something else to rez you. Either a guardian, or some sort of auto rez, like certain mission triggers. Do you mean spawning in Widows Walk? You can die if you hit that load wrong, which would respawn you in the lost sector.
@@Froggy618157725 ooooooh I think I understand now thank you so much for responding honestly I wish there were more people on ps4 willing to glitch with me in always doing this stuff solo so things like this are kinda impossible because it didn’t show what happened with your titan after you died to the load I thought h could just revive but I think I understand now
Nice. It's so much easier than the Titan path XD Lemme know if you manage to pull off the Maevic Square one. Definitely a few things to figure out if you wanna do it in Arms Dealer.
@@Froggy618157725 Absolutely, and I'll definitely me dragging on of my friends into it with me 8). Super cool that the community is actively trying to figure this stuff out.
I did the Maevic Square skip. Something very interesting happened - when I loaded Hangman's Pass and died, it spawned me at the tunnel leading to the IRB ghost spot, rather than the spot where you were spawned at the bottom of the gorge. The only explanation I'd have for this is I explored the tunnel for a minute or two, then jumped off. Maybe I fooled the game into spawning me in a different spot? I'm really not sure. Additionally, I emerged from the top most tunnel, explored the tower for a bit, then went to the upper tunnel. I loaded Maevic Square (the section where you set ghost position), but I hung around the barrier too long and got calabrese'd. Very interesting stuff - will be exploring more soon!
@@every_eve That's the sort of default spawn manipulation I was briefly mentioning in the video :). Ideally, we'd find a way to die in Maevic Square and respawn back at the start after setting our ghost point.
