I don't understand why they put the fallen shields and block these areas off, it would be so much more fun if they would just leave them open for exploration.
Exactly! In my early days as a post-Beyond Light new light I spent so much time running around Nessus marveling at the ludicrous amount of semi-hidden areas and vast caverns. Most of which lay empty save for spawn doors indicative of there once being something of note that would happen there. Made me feel like quite the archeologist lol
@@Rhodare yea, the amount of cool and fun places that are locked behind walls does suck tbh. hangman's pass shouldn't require you to OOB your way to there or use a strike for the barrier to go away. it's stupid and as someone who loves the world of the game so much i have folders of pictures from various areas in many destinations, i just wish they would just let us explore cool looking, beautiful and fun areas, from missions, activities or whatever else that there is so i don't have to OOB my way to niobe labs so i can relive my times doing the forges! or remember that one cool tank mission in the tunels. i wish they would allow us to go into these areas normaly because it would make the game feel more "alive" and open, and that would also help to attract new players too since there is going to be so much more for them to explore and see for thereselfs in their free time, and overall having fun going around areas while they are sitting in their chairs/couches thinking if the game trully is worth it xD. but yea, as a "veteran F2P" player since shadowkeep, it hurts my soul.
Not only that, but that hole he went through at the top to get to the catwalk wasn't even there. It was added much later and you had to parkour up there originally.
When you see a small white box out of the map, most probably it's being used as an object to attach some game logic to or to store enemies to be used for game logic
I recently heard somone on reddit say that bungie removed this area in beyond light but then added it back in witch queen, but I guess they have been here the entire time?
Yeah, they were mistaken. It has undergone some changes over time though. They modified the upper area with a campsite for something with Rose/Thorn, but that was reverted in the great sunsetting. All the Red War locations connected to patrol spaces on destinations we still have still exist. We have lost some seasonal content extensions though... I miss the bunkers :( And the Saint-14 ghost room.
@@Froggy618157725 yeah, I started playing a lot back in season of arivials and when I saw the bunkers in a video I was sad that I never got to explore them.
They say content vault, they mean we put invisible walls and death walls up. Have you done a video on getting into the splicer seasonal content from the moon?
I do appreciate how in Witch Queen, 90% of the off the path campaign areas are just open for exploration. Pretty much the only areas that take some serious work to get into are the mirror areas, and the final mission's boss arenas.
You don't need to OOB to get to the Salt Mines, you just go to the Destinations screen, and near the top, right below "store" is a big red icon, you just click that and it takes you there.
The skeleton at the top of the catwalks in the salt mines, (around 12:40), if I remember correctly, it was part of a little quest or maybe an adventure, I can't really remember, but I do remember going there and getting something off of the skeleton. I also remember doing the mission where you go throught the salt mines with a friend and whilst he went all the way down, I went straight for the catwalks and killing all the fallen from up there with a sniper and an smg while he went up in the elevator.
Wasn't their some odd Hive looking spikes under the starting EDZ area that we've yet to see used? Saw a reddit post on it well over a year ago and I thought it would have been used in Witch Queen, but it wasn't. Wonder if it's still there?
For a while there was a remnant of the Rasputin Warsat public event under the map, if that's what you're talking about... You can see that in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DXrVue9SWXc.html It was eventually removed.
@@Froggy618157725 I do remember that, but this one is different I'll see if I can find the post on raidsecrets. It was an actual like hive spike stuck in the ground. Like the scanable spikes inside the dreadnaught from D1. I think (don't quote me on this) there's one outside of the lake of shadows strike once you go underground and see all the cursed thrall
@@Froggy618157725 Here we go, no idea if they are still there but seems odd they haven't been used (at least that I know of) as of yet ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-okc7M3aV4f8.html
@@tcghunter9196 Oh, the reservoir ones. I don't know if they're still there. I do recall them either only existing in patrol or only in strike. Not sure which.
@@Froggy618157725 There's another thing I've never been able to fully check out to. In the corrupted strike. And you end the Orge mini boss in the ascendant plane, but don't jump in the portal to go back to normal space, there's a ton of stuff behind the portal you can jump on. I think it's from one of the old quest but not sure.
9:30 this part isn't working for me at all, I tried everything in the video for almost an hour but it keeps spawning me under the area where you should breach, I also switched to 30FPS but it just keeps spawning me below the breach. I even used stasis grenades to tighten the area before i die but nothing
For retries, you wanna move at least 9m away to set a new spawn point so you'll get a different result. I have vsync off. I've seen some people have issues with some rez breaches with vsync on, but it's not normally important.
That one is a bit tricky. If you can change your framerate that might help. I did it at a high framerate. If you happen to be on Hunter, Storm's Edge turns half through into all through.
the quarantine sector 236 place shared a load called the blackened forest (where we found the shard of the traveler in the spark mission) is it possible to revisit that area, or is there another video on it
That version of Quarantine Sector isn't reachable, and neither is Blackened Forest. You can, however, go all through the Dark Forest and visit the other version of Quarantine Sector. I have guides on those here: Quarantine Sector: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eK7_6xoe3ng.html Dark Forest: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eWDqfPI0bUg.html The Quarantine Sector one is a bit outdated, but still doable with either double IRB or syncbox
Unlikely. I don't even think the old Quarantine Sector is in the game. There were 3, the one we have now, the one used in the light reclaiming mission, and the one used in the redux version, I think. One let to go inside the building, and one didn't, and the one we have now is somewhat incomplete? It has guardian statues and old cabal and whatnot
Regarding your comment at 13:40, I know CloudLXXXV put out a guide a month or two after release on how to climb up from the bottom of the room to the catwalks to reach the skeleton. You'd need stasis to get the rest of the way up the elevator shaft, but I imagine that would save some time. And speaking of skeletons, during the Red War mission that took you through this area there was a skeleton leaning on the rock on your left at 11:08 that had a sniper rifle next to it; I wonder if that was only there for that mission or if that skeleton got removed at a later time.
Yeah, I have a link to that video in the comments/cards. I think the catwalk area was blocked, at least the nice hole I used to get to it. You could still climb.
Not sure what you mean here. Anyways, as far as we know the only load for Galaxy Pools is in unnamed forest, which you reach from a loadzone located just beyond the box barrier at the end of Dark Forest by that tractor beam.
30 fps may help. If you're attempting the version without using something like a stasis melee to go directly to the spot, then you're relying on precise spawn point manipulation. You may want to walk down the little hill just to ensure your current spawn point is down there somewhere. Then jump up to the first point, and then to the second, staying as far right as possible until you're in the crouch spot. Then walk along the workable area and you should set a spawn point up there. The key is that the first spot you land restricts where your next spawn point can be set. Once you leave a certain radius of that point you set your next one. Make sure you're crouching as far into the pinch spot as you can when that happens. If it doesn't work, reset by walking down the hill a little bit.
The first out of map you showed I found a few months ago and did a perfect shatter skate to get to the start of salt mines it took me 3 hours and that whole time there was a sparrow dismount that did the same thing I'm just in shock
if your bored you can Z climb all the way from the weird cubes up too the top of the elevator shaft from the outside and it makes for a rather fun challenge and also being able to see the whole room from up top
@@joeliolioli4156 yeah I know, you went up the lift to see hawthorn and it was also used for exotic quests, I'm saying that it reminds me of the doors in the cosmodrome that were shut in vanilla d1 until house of wolves
do you NEED stasis titan for this or no? because i have tried with my warlock and i can't do it, and i keep on spawning a bit out and now that i made a titan to do it, same thing
finally i tried since it was sunnsetted to get into there. oob was ez but get ib but where is thew forrest the player has go go threw in the camp mission before?
If you're talking about spark, that's not in the game anymore, but you can get to the Dark Forest/Quarantine Sector 236, which is reasonably similar. QS: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eK7_6xoe3ng.html DF: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eWDqfPI0bUg.html
