Its amazing how much the timing of the music works with the cutscene. Sure, there's a few moments here and there that don't align perfectly, but its still really cool. Good stuff!
The timing is too perfect. They wanted to do it, but legally couldn’t. So they did the next best thing: making the timing right and wait for the community to do it. Solid play.
After the campaign I had mixed feelings about "the ending" but the raid and the post raid mission really delivered. Bittersweet that Lance coundn´t do the voice acting on this part. Nice Work tho, first thing that came in my mind on this scene in the trailer was the Endgame feeling it had.
That ending was fantastic! We used the Vault of Glass relic as a shield from the Witness's onslaught. The Traveler ITSELF grants us a sword of pure, radiant light that we use to free voices within that vile choir that have been imprisoned for centuries. The Witness raged as its greatest fear was realized. It proclaims with all the power of a god that we are unworthy of its salvation and chases us from the site with arms of colossal size. It is wounded, retreating to it's monolith, but Mara Sov has a plan.
This scene bring me flashbacks of Mass Effect 3 with Captain Anderson leading humanity last forces alongside all the aliens Shepard recruited. Keith David is a living legend
Elsie: Wants to make sure her dad doesn’t come back as a disciple. Drifter: Wants to know what The Witness tastes like. Eris: Is hive, brought a sword.
I love this, Keith David did a hell of a job being our new Commander but still wonder how this would have sounded if it was our original Commander Lance Reddick
