So this is mess up, but exo are a different species all together then human, so are awoken. exo believe in essentially atheist. The humans are faithful and the awoken are essentially and justified agnostic. I'm not going to go into specific details but this is really messed up and way to deep for casual players.
Yeah Ana is just casting for an Oscar "i have killed my grand dad" but nop she didn't. I love Destiny and this half measures, it's like the 50-50 booking in WWE, never go one way just stay in the middle and hope of the best.
@@beermarket9971 Well, she didn't transfer the fork back to the main AI so they could fuse back together. Rasputin just deleted the copy of clovis running on the exoframe so Ana/Rasputin killed a copy of Clovis so kind of a dick move that probably erased all the month's worth of memories that clovis had of the helm but since a copy of Clovis is still around he technically didn't die unless you consider the 2 clones of Clovis to be separate people. Like banshee is a very divergent clone of Clovis and is considered a separete person but this copy that had only been disconnected from the main hub for a month probably isn't unique enough to be considered it's own person. Morality becomes weird when people start cloning themselves and then people start killing the clones or the clones start disagreeing with each other.
It was so awesome to be able to travel to Felwinter Peak for the first time (for me) and see what it was like. I know not everything was back, but that doesn't matter. Was also cool to fight PvE enemies inside a PvP map. Also, I can't get over how bizarre and odd it is for Rasputin to now sound like Clovis instead of just shrieking Russian like he used to.
It bears asking: Are we certain Vlovis wasent already possesed by The Sol Divisive? Destory the Traveler, become a god over the Sol System, await the "Salvation" of The Witness and its Darkness. Sounds less like Clovis was ACTUALLY in control of himself, Ego or no. Now that we booted him...chances are he'll go full-turncoat. "If you WONT be greatful to me, you will learn to FEAR me instead!!!"
I say Clovis has huge ego and a massive god complex. The Witness wouldn't have needed to do anything but instead be drinking their soda and chowing on hot dogs seeing their enemy brought to pieces by the beings it has chosen to bless. It would be funnier and far more sinister that Clovis was doing it of his own volition. Witness be like "Well, that was entertaining".
It makes more sense now why Clovis created the Pillory vaults to trap AI. Rapsutan (because of Ana's training) was diverging from what Clovis wanted him to be

I don’t think Clovis will get full control of the war sat network, but I bet he gets control of the Seraph station above earth and fires it on the traveler as the big finale to the season. That thing is too precariously placed above us.
I love how after Rasputin beats out clovis. And can rest nice and snug in thr frame he can only worry about Ana. And makes sure through us that she's okay

I was taken aback when Rasputin said, "Forgive me, I am finding myself again." He's never been one to concede or apologize. Looks like he really may be changing from his old "tyrant" ways. Also, I love this week's story progression but I hate that Rasputin has the same VA as Clovis. I hate that man (which means he's done a good job playing a pseudo-villain) and now all I hear when Rasputin speaks is the megalomaniac lmao.
He might progressively change his voice, as he took the systems from Clovis but we know that Rasputin loves iterating... over... and over... and over. Look at Outbreak Prime, then Outbreak Perfected. Or the two different versions of Sleeper Simulant! He could gradually shift his voice over the seasons, if push comes to shove!

Actually Rasputin only sounds a lot like Clovis in the cutscenes. As I've been playing more Heists he's starting to sound distinctly different, more robotic. I can barely hear Clovis anymore in his voice.
@@infernasI’ve gotten the same vibe. His digitized voice, and it’s echos that overlap, culminate in my ear. Giving Rasputin the conveyance of a deeper, robotic, albeit more emotive, voice.
Somehow, even after having watched this cutscene when it was leaked the first week, the events heretofore and current have managed to actually surprise me somewhat.
Finally, Rasputin is awake and with us, he knew about Clovis and his plans, so with that we need to stop him asap, we all know that Ana had no other choices left or just those she was trying to do to wake up Rasputin, but yet still she cloud thought her self that it's not pretty safe to let Clovis near Rasputin, his mind and his weapons Good video as always Evaze👏
I don't think it's what you think Rasputin now believes he made the wrong choice locking humanity out before the collapse and he said that after he said fellwinters memories were his memories that he could see himself through fellwinters eyes Rasputin called himself a tyrant.... I think that somehow there will be a fraction of the clovis A.I. that wasn't purged from the exo frame and clovis will find a way too rewrite him. Or the last hive God will actually get her hands on clovis Like she was trying too do in the first place and that will sway him too the dark side which gives the witness full control of the exo facilities
The rasputin season before the pyramids arrived was literally rasputins redemption arc. I would say why would they waste all that build up but bungie...
Haven’t played destiny 2 in like 2-3 years. This lore is really cool and made me want to go back, and I did, and so much has changed that it feels like joining a movie an hour and a half in, no point to it. I’ve missed a lot of content and story, so I don’t really know what to do or for the most part what is happening. Along with that people who did stay are good and I’m comparatively low level, so pvp is out of the picture too.
I have a feeling Clovis had something to do with the collapse... i just itch whenever i think that he had always played with the darkness and when Rasputin locked him out from his code, all of a sudden, the collapse, but Clovis had a copy of himself in the big head... so no worries there... right? It itches!!! LOL
at the start of the season my hopes were really low but this really surprised me, can’t say the burnout won’t happen again but this will at least keep me going a bit longer

End of season concludes by Clovis taking over Rasputin and destroying the traveler only to reveal that the traveler had been a shell cloaking a time jumped star ship that’s being controlled by A.I. created by Past guardians to change this very outcome…. Then walks in Kang the Conqueror
I still remember when in destiny 1 they wrote that felwinter used the abilities of the titans and the hunters, I remember they said that felwinter used the titan shoulder or that and he had entered the void dimension and came back

I'm still a bit skeptical. When you speak to Rasputin again after talking to Ana on the holo, Rasputin says "Maintain your current modus operandi for now." That's exactly what the Clovis partition said in an earlier mission. Trust but verify if I were Ana or the Vanguard.

I wonder if in the conclusion we'll end Clovis by destroying his Ai entirely. A possibility but not too high of a possibility if anything. Also, during the Clovis confrontation, am I the only one who had Ana use finger guns on Clovis, cuz the hand cannon didn't didn't spawn during the scene when I did it.
Don’t forget, we uploaded a virus into the Seraph Station to hold open a back door to upload Rasputin into. Clovis knows this. How do we stop Clovis from utilizing this back door before we do?
Judging by what Rasputin said I have a feeling that back door while not 100% safe is still a hard entry point for Clovis as the virus *specifically* was crafted for Rasputin. It was quite clear Clovis has shaped pretty much his entire plan around controlling Rasputin and with that control gone so is a easy access to that station.

What if the warmind becomes an exo? Instead of segment, maybe retrieving the segment revives his son but within himself. I mean it wasnt his son in the first place but a sliver of himself.
I need some here to explain why it's a good idea or better yet choose to have a psycho like Clovis Bray be the voice of a changed Rasputin? Rasputin had his own voice which was amazing and also now is imprinted with Felwinter's code but we gotta hear Clovis' voice 🤔 It would also seem to me that both Ana and Elisabeth would have PTSD from the POS that Clovis was/is and reject hearing that voice esp. Ana who is practically a mother figure to Rasputin. Heck, even Banshee is voiced differently. I've been a fan of Destiny lore for 8 years esp. the Bray legacy/timelines so this really irks me. All this to say, I'm just really bummed that this is the voice of Rasputin, at least for the time being.😪
So after god knows how long. We finally get to formally meet the legendary Warmind Rasputin. Gotta say, he's a rather calm AI considering he's not only named after the craziest Russian to ever live but is also a combat AI capable of wiping out all life on the planet if he wanted to.
Well let's not forget. Clovis isn't dead. He's just kicked out of the exo and back on Europa inside his main body. I can only imagine how pissed he is that even after Ana got resurrected as a guardian, she still hasn't gotten rid of her "Pointless" emotions. And yet, it was the actions she took that literally stopped a dark age from happening ahead of time.
Why wasn't Felwinter's response to Osiris "Have you tried actually going to Neptune? You know, the 3rd most massive planet in the solar system? Big place, maybe if you started actually physically searching for it, instead of helping Clovis, you'd have found it by now"
Bro this would be very bad if Rasputin was actually the liar and we really just messed up by deleting Clovis 💀. I honestly don't trust either of them knowing what happened to Felwinter and the other Iron lords. Even tho Clovis has the wrong ideas on how things should be I actually think he was the good guy in all this.
With the end of the season’s story here it’s interesting that Rasputin was going to shoot the Traveler to stay. If he had would we still have guardians? Either way Amanda saved humanity three times over.
8:27 that scene im pretty sure is actually in d1 on venus somewhere i remember seeing this in one of the venus campaign missions there was a skeleton along with a destroyed computer with holes in walls/windows/roofs and overrun by nature and eliksni i think it was when we were going after the vex mind to get access into the black garden

You know what would be a twist? If that wasn't Rasputin speaking. For all his ego and grandstanding, Clovis Bray does not seem to me like a man without introspection. If nothing else, a man as mentally gifted as he would see and understand the way other see him and twist that to manipulate others. So him speaking as Rasputin and saying what we want to hear in some gambit to motivate us would fall in line with a 4D chess move that I see him playing. The partition Ana erased was a sort of... distilled version of Clovis, made to be hated and sacrificed. Probably not. But I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.
Clovis trying to take control and become a god is literally the least surprising story arc they could have gone with. I'd hardly call it a huge plot twist, lol. It was pretty obvious from the opening of the new season that he was going to try to screw us over/betray us. Though I will say that he's not wrong about the Traveler basically doing nothing but running and then giving our enemies the light. One would assume Clovis will still be an issue given he can control most of the Bray facility on Europa and he has the Seraph bunker beneath his giant Exo head.

Actually I'm fully believing he went out that easy, because his intelligence has always been hampered by arrogance and a inflated ego. So I can see him being so high on his own superiority belief he was genuinely caught off guard by Anas actions.
