Destiny 2 - SAVATHUN IS INSIDE THE TRAVELER! Allies Fight and How Cayde Is Alive 

Everyone forgets that there was a statue or a place at the end of season of the arrivals that showed hive, guardians, and fallen looking at a single pyramid ship all of our allies even savanthun is going to help us destroy the witness im glsd to have joined you guys now im not a vet like some of you but im glad to have been a guardian with you all

So what I'm getting out of all of this is that the traveler is a big ol' eyeball, the veil is its socket, and the witness is its unibrow.

I think that Savathun is "helping" us because she now has a vested interest in the Traveler staying "alive". As she is now a light bearer, what will happen to her if the Traveler is destroyed or subdued? We are allies by necessity and that is all, once the Witness is dealt with, she will do her thing and betray us as quickly as possible.

this gives me Stephen Kings The Dark Tower vibes and i love it. The Man in Black/The Witness The Gunslinger/Guardians The Dark Tower/Dark Monolith What if the witness is trying to merge itself with the traveler instead of destroying it. Through the merger it gains access to easily invert everything the light has touched.

Savathun reminds me of vegeta tbh. She seems like an ally now even with her own twisted desires

Two theories: 1. The witness explosion when he said “enough” look like a light explosion. 2. The orge with is face thingy looks like it’s part of his exoskeleton that will cover his face and protect it from crit damage.

As a Guardian who has been around since the start of destiny I can't wait to take on the witness and his darkness army who else is ready to kick some ass

The part in that trailer that shows at 49sec is what the portal in the new whisper of the worm mission is showing now!!!

The hands corridor (7:53) reminds me of the new portal image in the whisper mission, albeit red. is it just me ?

9:32 - first thought that came to mind when I saw this in the trailer was "ahamkara"

Think Savathun is helping us fight, but on her own terms. Shes not our Ally fully, but the Witness threatens everything, including herself

Savathun would make sense because tshe would also want to stop The Final Shape so its more of the enemy of my enemy is my friend situation. I doubt she has many plans that benefit us in her future but if we are all dead those plans can’t be played out anyway so here she is.

Also, i noticed how when the witness shouts "ENOUGH" its not the same as in lightfall, rather, it sounds like cayde-6

The strange symbol that fades to black is one of the symbols you see while loading into the game or it is from the first cutscene when you first started playing

9:33 is definitely an Ahamkara at least it looks like one. This destination is so trippy and very cool looking, so much to look forward to in this saga finale.

Savathun may help us but in her own ways, in previous trailers for final shape i saw that we fight not only xivu arat hive but also lucent hive

Hold up, if they’re in the Traveler as well, then who’s defending the Tower? Shaxx, Saint, and Caitl’s grunts? All the big guns except for Eris Morne are joining us it seems

Anyone else think the 3 will have to die and become guardians before they get to go inside the traveler. Obviously Savathun already has and is our warlock variant usuing magic as a weapon . Mithrax would be our hunter having blink and using blades as the captains do and Caitil is our titan variant ground pounding and built to run you over. Or is that just a happenstance 😂

You know it’s an insane thought and it may not have any validity but over the 10 years I’ve played this game I could’ve played with anyone of you rather it be lfg or crucible I was glad to have any of you in my fireteam see you guys on the other side

The Final Shape is actually just the witnesses` unibrow. Its a jump puzzle.

Am I the only one being intrigued by the Witness saying « A final shape is coming ? » I don’t know why, but I’ve always recalled it referring to « THE final shape »

I think it would be cool if part of the raid was you summoning these allies to assist during the fight. In the final encounter imagine having the vanguard, all of humanities allies fighting.

7:47 doesn't that look like the new location through the portal in the Whisper mission? It seems at least similar to me

The creature at the end kinda looks like an Ahamkara. Like Riven. Maybe that's one of her clutch, that has grown up immensely for whatever reason

The fact that there is end game content, including a new raid, seems to signify our guardians will not die at the end of the campaign, which I will admit, is a little disappointing. After all these years, and all these resurrections, the final death of our guardian seems like the only way to cap this Light vs Darkness saga off. Perhaps this is how the final raid ends with us dying, though that seems unlikely as how would we take advantage of raid armor if we die at the end of the raid. Honestly, I am most curious to see how they put a finale on the Light vs. Dark saga, or if our guardians are meant to survive into whatever comes next, which I assume will be Destiny 3, and whatever new overarching saga comes with it.

Are we all forgetting how we're supposedly gonna have to fight Xivu at some point? Like, she's been big bad guy n2 since a few season ago, and now we've made her mortal but the witness is the final boss? So where does she fall into, dungeon boss, raid boss n2?

I think Savathun kept the wish for herself and that is how she gets in In the developer stream we fight her brood so I dont think we'll be allies. Riven having finally learned to trust us understood the dangers posed by Savathun's schemes and so she tricked Crow into making the wish to get things right about Cayde and thats how we get him going through and us by extension. That shot of Savathun looks to me of genuine shock.....probably at seeing us lol.

I guess Savathun could be an apparition but considering that she was the one who made the wish to be able to enter the Traveler, it wouldn’t be out there to think that she wouldn’t somehow guarantee herself in the picture but i could be wrong though. 😅

I just want to fight Xivu Arath, and that Hive Ogre is probably part of her forces. Savathun has the Lucent Hive. Xivu Arath has normal Hive.

There's one faction I haven't seen anything on for the Final Shape and that is the Vex. I notice that they seem to be the one enemy no other faction can figure out how to conquer completely and makes me wonder if after we kill the Witness what will then happen with the Vex?

I think a reason to she to "Help us", is because Revenge for what the Witness has done to her and her sisters. And of course, is helping us or end of the Universe.

Everyone says that savathun is gonna forever be against us. But why would bungie show us her beside mithrax and Caiatl in the trailer? Can’t wait to fight along side her against the witness. And for those who say why do we fight the lucent hive in the traveler? Some of the lucent hive defected against savathun in the ghost of the deep dungeon to resurrect oryx, so not all the lucent hive are necessarily fully devoted to her. So we could see a faction war with the lucent hive in the pale heart.

It’s hard to see Savathun as an ally. We made a deal with her yes. Immaru is in our custody, and we should take him to Spider for a “dental appointment”. Honestly, I see her less of an ally and more of a stowaway.

I bet you they ain’t showing up till last minute. You gotta take the trailers with a pinch of a pinch of salt

Whatever this place is, I believe it is also an afterlife for all guardians. A paradise for guardians since we have fought the evils of the universe and this is the travelers way of thanking in some way.
