Small detail: Cayde takes his finger off the trigger as soon as he recognizes you. God! I love it when trigger discipline is shown in games!

"We're outmatched, and alone, and... and... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT MUSIC?!" *Warthog bursts out of the tower and lands in the courtyard*

I wanna punch my monitor cause the server booted me right before this cutscene started

Cayde playing the Forsaken theme makes perfect sense.

Pretty sure that was Riven pulling him back from death. It looks like when he died died, he joined the Traveler in "heaven" only from Riven to yank him out of it and be brought back to life. It also looks like zero time has passed for him while for us its been years. Which makes sense for the eternity aspect of the afterlife as most religions describe it. Just a theory, havent had a chance to play yet because unlike a lot of people, Ive learned over the years that launch day is the worst day to try playing, so Im at work.

Appreciate the upload! I got an error code and missed the entire end of mission cutscene reuniting with Cayde, etc. This is a sorry state for a game that’s been out for this long, esp considering the importance of this expansion. I’m more than a little bitter that I missed such a great moment all because of an error code.

Once again the male exo voice actor absolutely kills it in his role.

My favorite detail of the cutscene with cayde is the sound the harmonica makes when he throws it. It just sounds so funny.

This is another example of when Bungie should have shut their mouth about Cayde coming back. Hearing that harmonica would have instantly been tears.

Destiny servers just loaded me in and theres f****** cayde just standing there.. No cutscene at all. A 4min cutscene. One of the most anticipated ever for me. SKIPPED BY THE DESTINY SERVERS

As a newlight, I had started destiny for Cayde a couple of months ago. What's funny, is I would complain to my boyfriend about Crow's haircut, and let me tell you, i screamed when I heard Cayde mention it. I love this game.

This cutscene just doesn't play on my second character. The screen is black and I assume that it's "playing" but I don't get to watch it. I only get the storybook cutscene and not the one with my guardian in it. I was really hoping to get screenshots will all my characters.
