Destiny 2 - What Exotic Catalysts are the BEST for PVE? 

One other tip for completing catalysts for single-shot weapons like Izanagi's Burden and Whisper - Use the Suro Chi checkpoint and go in on a Void Hunter with Deadfall Tether. Tether the thrall and then hit one with the exotic. The tether distributes the damage to all of the tethered enemies, and they will all count towards the catalyst kills.

If you’re looking for a good way to complete catalysts, I recommend the breakneck mission from the lightfall campaign. Just go through to where you place your first raid banner, tons of vex and yellow bars… kill everything except the wyvern. Rinse and repeat.

That last tip definitely works I had so many unfinished catalysts but since hitting rank 9 and trying to get to 10 I needed to complete 25 catalysts I noticed after i finished some I was getting some new ones alot more frequently

Great Video Man, you got a new sub for sure, but I want to say I thing in. Regards to 4:54 . Trinity Ghoul is awesome, but as for the best bow in the game, I honestly have to give it to Hierarchy of Needs, that thing SHREADS enemies, majors and even bosses, soloing almost everything in the game, and the catalyst is just a straight upgrade the draw time while precision, not to mention that it autolocks everything (btw) it also auto-locks the eyes in the new dungeon and with the current season mods, it explodes them all with 1 arrow. Great video nonetheless

Great recommendations & glad to have come across your channel! Grasp works very well for plentiful kills. Alters on the moon is respectable for the number of constant enemies and you can bounty farm a little. especially for those with no expansions yet. - Another EXCELLENT place to level weapons and catalyst kills is every 3 weeks on the moon. "IN The DEEP" mission. you run down to recover the crypto glyph. you grab it and jump off the nearby ledge and die. Respawn, and clear the 4 snipers up high just past the pedestal you first grabbed the crypto glyph. Then to the left and about half way between where you grab the crypto glyph and the ridge with the snipers is a rock outcrop that has two levels. You stand on the lower ledge which is only a little off the ground, but this is low enough to keep spawning the endless thrall waves.( standing on the taller rock outcrops the thrall will try hide from you) add on melee damage reduction mods - i usually grab my warlock and use the chest armor that keeps your rift up indefinitely when you are getting kills - this makes the effort of surviving boring, they can't kill you with a rift up. You want to disable ALL subclass perks that will kill enemies because your gun will not get credit. like arc soul etc. To speed up kill time, add in a reloader mod or 3 plus the weapon magazine mod to have the most uptime shooting, (they die so easily damage mods are not needed) You can usually gain a level with fast firing crafted weapons every 2:30 minutes ish. To really have fun here, take a mix of special, heavy and kinetic weapons along with you. Use ammo finders & scavenger mods - I have screen caps with HUNDREDS of green and purple ammo brocks on the ground here simply rotating weapons and getting kills - it's dull as watching paint dry, but very effective - before I could buy levels on crafted guns for glimmer & cores, this was always my go-to weapon level farm locale.

Breakneck is best for special and heavy as it has a free rally flag

I’d put leviathan’s breath catalyst as a must have because it turns the bow from abhorrent to extremely good

I will not lie it took me 3 years to get legend of acurus catalyst to drop so good luck I got it last year to drop while doing the birthplace of vile nightfall December 2023 and I got the weapon im 2020

Just know that in order to get the Witherhorde catalyst, you will have to delve into PVP. I don't do PVP so my witherhorde sits and it sits..

Man I am so lost after being on such a long hiatus. This game is a mess and all over the place. Feels like there's 3 active seasons happening at once. I've been ignoring all the quest icons and just soloing everything I can. What a mess. Hope all is well buddy!
