This is actually just true. The issue is that people, particularly liberals, have spent decades controlling our institutions and teaching a doctrine that ignores natural law. You cannot have an empire that survives if you ignore nature and the realities of it. People don't go after power. Power goes after people. You have to meet a very specific set of requirements (that every single empire has done) to have power, the main one being the wielding and use of violence. America has and continues to use this violence, while simultaneously preaching democracy, freedom and liberalism. This creates a serious disconnect between the elite and the common person. This is why people so distrust our establishment. They say one thing and then do the opposite.
