I still don't understand how Mr. Girl is a thing online. You just need to hear him for a couple of minutes to see how obviously manipulative he is. I understand some people can be sly and cunning in their creepy behavior, but not him lol.
It was creepy and uncomfortable for a long time but manipulative was more recent particularly during the dr k stuff and the stuff with his girlfriend, the manipulative stuff was more obvious then but still debatable, during his initial interactions with destiny there wasnt alot of those manipulative flags but in retrospect they seem to be there.
Right I don’t get why he’s how he is thought of as this master manipulator. You can tell right off the bat exactly what he’s trying to do. He’s just a scumbag.
I remember months back making comments asking you to watch the videos with his partner and I am SO GLAD YOU DID. Don't know if you ever saw me, doesn't matter, I'm very happy that you are able to see exactly who he is.
Just to put in a word. Anytime I have seen Vaush lose a close friend, he doesn't freak out at all. He just looks depressed and tries really hard not to publicly down them. Specifically, his fallout with contrapoints changed nothing about his enjoyment of her videos and he didn't attack at all. He just looked confused for a week.
He has had fallings out with other creators where he tacitly encouraged his fan base to harrass them afterward out of anger. This "friendship" Destiny made with Max was stupid for sure and i think some of his more recent orbiters are people he picked up because some lefty streamers were casting him out (or they massively disagreed with one of his takes), but I've watched enough Vaush to see some of his outbursts
@@tomray4140 when has Vaush actively called for the harassment of an online figure? Everything I've seen suggests he's way too afraid of getting banned to do something like that.
@@MegaSimmaster I believe he encouraged his fans to argue with Riley Grace Roshong after the neo pronoun drama and "not let it go." You have all of the bad actors on the internet that help to blur the lines between discussion and unwanted, bad faith arguments. But it hurts the motivations of his audience to engage with her by saying to not let it go. It silently encourages the bad actors that it's ok to endlessly comment to her about it
It’s so nice to hear your perspective on Mr Girl. I only recently started listening to Destiny so I’d heard about all this. But I’m only more looking at what went on and it’s so confusing that Destiny missed his CLEAR red flags. I feel like he’s actually really bad at reading people
No, they are just stupid in general. If you can't handle hearing or reading something regardless of what it is. You most likely shouldn't be on the internet due to the fact you can't even keep your emotions in check.
