Absolutely not…. Maybe if you’re an average player but most people that are actually good at the game get matched up with better players. The higher you get in terms of kd the worse the community gets and by a huge margin… that’s why I quit this game. I averaged a 2.1 kd and all I came cross was incels and threats. Also had my social media hacked as well which was terrible cause my gf parents followed me. This type of behavior isn’t uncommon when you’re in the higher ranks of pvp. It happens to many people. Also no offense to any average players, but this game isn’t fun when you’re playing with average players or against them. It’s just boring. That’s why everybody in this game is obsessed with top tier gameplay. That’s why this game is constantly being treated as a competitive game. It’s not fun to play this game like it’s an ordinary game you can turn on and relax with. Even cod isn’t this toxic anymore… cod is just trash talk, but the destiny community is full of incels who can actually fuck up your life cause they’re that depressed. Even subreddits for destiny are toxic beyond belief. They’re almost like flat earth subreddits where you give any type of criticism or talk about something that’s ruining the game they just spam you with hateful comments and then ban you…. Destiny is far from the most welcoming communities. Especially if you’re a good player.
