2 scenes I want to see in the next movie 1. An opening scene done just like the KOM where they are in court discussing the use of the beast glove and all the destruction titans have caused. 2. A must see scene is Kong comfortable playing with his new family, wife maybe a newborn, and he gets the notification that Godzilla needs help and he is kind of like nah I’m busy, I’m good, I’m a family man. I feel like Destoroyah should be the monsterverses last threat. If they decided to end the series, Destoroyah would be the best threat to end it all.

I'd absolutely love to see Destoroyah in the monsterverse, but I think it's too soon for him to make an appearance. I think space Godzilla should be the villian of the next film.

I'm almost banking on the idea that humanity will create their own artificial Titan Killer, and code name it Destroyah or something like Gigan too. A cyborg titan that is fully under the power hungry and easily scared humans sounds just like the finale needed. Huh now I'm thinking about it, there were those remains of Timat form Empire and some of Gidorah's blood in the water during KoM. I wouldn't be surprise if those things, along with Godzilla's own blood and injuries are mixing into something diabolical.

I hope Adam Wingard or the next director of the upcoming sequel see this video before finalizing the scripts. The potential of Destroyah or humanity invading the Hollow Earth sounds interesting.

Theory time: If humanity ends up being the next villain this could also be there excuse to bring in MechaGhidorah cause in KOTM they knew ghidorah was hard for Godzilla to defeat so what if they remade ghidorah to increase their chances of taking over the hollow earth

I would really love to see Biollante make an appearance. That kaiju has always held a special place in my heart ever since I fought Perfect Chaos in Sonic Adventure and recognized the similarities later on. Though I'm not entirely sure how they'd spin its creation, I desperately want to see it realized in the Monsterverse since has one of my favorite designs ever.

Well since the oxygen destroyer was indeed used in kotm I think it's only a matter of time before destroyah makes his presence felt.

I feel like space Godzilla is more likely because in the movie they talk about a Godzilla who ate a star not to mention in the hollow Earth there's so many crystals possibly created by Space Godzilla and the fact that Godzilla barely felt challenged in this film despite evolveing into his most powerful state yet I feel like he's just prepping for the real threat.

It baffles me that Anguirus has yet to appear in the Monsterverse, since he’s one of Godzilla first rivals/allies

Who else is ready for a Kong: Hollow Earth series?

I'm all for Goji being the focus, but J think now that we're pulling old threats from past films, Megalon would be a cool addition.

What if the invasion in the Hollow Earth might awaken something who might potentially be Space Godzilla when it comes to gathering resources including these crystals deep beneath? There's always a bigger monster. Not always by size but also threat level. A very ancient and unique Gojira-like creature who's been around since the prehistoric times who harnessed this strange power no other Gojira should also take; mutating him beyond anything.

I want to see Godzilla intentionally attack humanity, a movie where the humans try to take down Godzilla because they are now enemies. And a scientist creates a third party like biollante or space Godzilla as a third party threat

So I'm seeing ALOT of "Destroyah, TO SOON" comments but something nether any of them or even this video touched on was that Destroyah by nature is not just *one monster.* Imagine the next movie being about Godzilla vs Space Godzilla and it introduces the monsterverse equivalent to Godzilla Jr. or Minilla, and while Big G is busy taking on his evil uncle, a strange red crab/spider like monster shows up, emerging from the ocean that godzilla and Ghidorah fought in till the oxygen destroyer was detonated. This new monster the size of say a skull crawler terrorizes the humans and fatally wounds the young Godzilla as it attempts to fight it off only for godzilla, kong or even the humans to likewise fatally wound the new monster with it ether getting launched back into the ocean or retreats to presumably die, with the little Godzilla geting saved by his father giving him some of his radiation in a heart warming, "emotional scene that shows Godzilla as a feeling character"(to paraphrase Adam Wingard). Cut to ether the last scene or maybe a mid/post credit scene of the dying monster crawling along the ocean floor to reveal a swarm of them that proceed to consume or absorb the "little destroyah", that then goes full "The Thing" and combines into the titan sized 1rst form destroyah that then is the big bad for his own movie.

I imagine that next movie might reintroduce Minilla/Godzilla Jr and that would be the governments' last straw. Like a "that thing can have kids by itself??? /Hell naw/, we dont want more of that thing running around", then at the very least, they would try to hunt down the titans but prioritizing Godzilla and his kid if they dont plan on doing Hollow Earth invasion. Also, maybe Rodan might make a return as a call back to Heisei Rodan's relationship with Baby Godzilla. Maybe Godzilla would task him, Mothra or Kong in protecting his kid and taking him away from the fight. Maybe Ren might come back but possessed by Ghidorah. Like Ghidorah is infiltrating Earth's politics/military through Ren so he can take over Earth and destroy his rival, once and for all. Also, Mecha Godzilla come back or even a Mecha King Ghidorah

My problem with Destoroyah in the Monsterverse now is that, aside from nostalgia for fans, he wouldn't really "mean" anything to the film besides just being another big Titan. King of the Monsters already had Godzilla go through an overloaded phase too. They mention that Godzilla was going to explode at the start of his second fight with Ghidorah due to the nuke they used on him in the temple, and then Godzilla went into that Blazing state which obviously referenced Burning Godzilla. So that pretty much uses up the main references they could've used for a Destoroyah opponent, so they would have to really go out of their way to make an original way for Destoroyah to "fit" somehow besides the use of the oxygen destroyer.

I recently had an idea of a post credits scene for the next MonsterVerse movie. It starts out with the remnants of Isla de Mara, the ocean where the Oxygen Destroyer was detonated in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. As the music slowly gets suspenseful the camera pans down towards the depths of the Isla de Mara's sea where we can see the skeletal remains of multiple fish lying around. We hear ominous rumbling being uttered out by… something… *THEN TWO GIANT YELLOW EYES OPEN UP.* The camera smash cuts to black, and after that, we hear one last thing… *DESTOROYAH’S UNGODLY ROAR.*

Destoroyah needs to be build up like Thanos in MCU Infinity Saga from a Destroy All Monsters Two Part Movie like Infinity War to Endgame.

Guys if we think about it right, we technically had an evil version of Kong's species. So it makes sense for the next film to feature an evil member or representation of the Godzilla species as well, being someone like Biollante or Space Godzilla. Personally I hope for Biollante as she would be VERY easy to introduce with some plantlife in the Hallow Earth. However it HAS to be Godzilla's fight. After this we can end the MV story (or main Godzilla story) with Destoroya. But again, Kong should have no place in this fight. This is a Godzilla ONLY battle! Can't ruin it like they did with MechaGodzilla.

Legendary skipped to Ghidorah in the second Godzilla movie. So they might as well fast forward to Destroyah in the next sequel to prove that they didn't peaked in 2019.

I just feel like destoroyah should be saved for kongs or godzillas final film and kill one of them. It would just give destoroyah more impact in the story.

An idea I had for this it was like a two-parter movie you know like infinity war in endgame the first part will be destroy all monsters where the government officially fight back and gets the Titans because they got tired of the how destructive they are with them being there in general they can’t handle them anymore and I feel like there should be epic fight with Godzilla and the military titans will die. I feel like the queen Muto will die first because she’s already a danger to humanity due to her EMP. And I feel like the Titans Rodan Mothra will retreat and with the epic fight with Godzilla against the military he will be greatly injured and retreat to the hollow earth given the impression that they defeated Godzilla that will be like part one which is destroy all monsters. The second part of the movie, the United Nations is starting to get concerned with the Amazon rainforest because the rainforest has Dying, they realize oxygen levels are extremely low, but military person has been getting attacked all of them. And they will have body cam footage the image The video was blurry, but they fixed the quality of the video so they can see what active they see a red crustacean. Godzilla is badly hurt and within the hollow earth with the rest of the Titans that retreated into the Hollow communicates well to help with Godzilla and he’s unable to move due to his fight. They carry him to a place where there is radiation that can heal him as he absorbs it as he is healing slowly while humanity is still dealing with this right crustacean creature the weapons aren’t effective. This is healing multiplying growing becoming stronger building up. The government has officially classified this monster as. Titanus (destoroyah). destoroyah rapidly mutating and the Titans know it will officially throw off the balance of nature. destoroyah Wants to step up its mutation by feeding any remains left by Godzilla or any Godzilla species into its final form while Godzilla is healing Mothra,Rodan,Shimo and Kong goes to the surface ready to fight destoroyah because knowing after he’s done with the surface, he’s gonna attack the hollow earth. So did it stand off between all those titans while Godzilla heal and as he’s healing, he’s starting to get a new form is Tail is longer. He’s slim but not that slim but very muscular his arm is longer. His legs were longer stronger. His head was bigger as much more spike. His scales are much more built to endure any damage, giving any other titans a hard time to pierce through and is atomic breath would be white either be 650 feet Or either 800 feet being and there will be a epic fight between Godzilla and destoroyah

Adam Wingard is pretty much implying that he has ideas for the next film. If Legendary green light the sequel and chooses him as director.

It would be cool if Spacegodzilla does end up being used, he could try to tempt Godzilla to give into his newfound powers and take over the Earth like Ghidorah. As said in the video, Godzilla has gotten so much more powerful and ruthless over the past films. Who could really stop him if he tried an aggressive take over? Maybe in the GxK sequel, Godzilla can be plagued with dreams Spacegodzilla would telepathically give him where does end up becoming a destroyer rather then a protector, with Kong, Mothra, and other Titans dead at his feet and the world burning with radioactive fire. Spacegodzilla's defeat would be Godzilla overcoming his personal demons and becoming more than just a king of the monsters.

The humanity theory seems more plausible and interesting I definitely would want to see that

Problem is for Godzilla sacrifice is Toho forbidden Godzilla to be killed unless a successor ex. An offspring like Minilla or Godzilla Junior to take his place or other wise they can’t kill him off so it would need to set up Minilla, Godzilla Junior or some equivalent to them before they can do it.

Godzilla x kong is almost at 500 million worldwide, can't wait to see what the next movie will be.

I think they should do a series of monsterverse movies based just around godzilla having him a chance of facing off against destoroyah, possibly biollante, mecha king ghidorah(bringing him back in a way), space godzilla, maybe even anguirus as a foe turning into an ally, hedorah

I think Biollante is good for a solo Godzilla movie, and SpaceGodzilla for another Godzilla/Kong team up, and if Humanity becomes the antagonists, is perfect for the introduction of Jet Jaguar possibly bringing some Pacific Rim vibes to the MV.

I think Dest might pop up in end credits but still growing and show in a later movie in my opinion.

I can think of a fun lore for space godzilla. Where the current godzilla isn't really the one who fought ghidora in the past but rather another gojira. Where After defeating ghidora, went to space to find where ghidora came from and mutated then came back to earth

The governments could also take an X-men-like stance of fear and prejudice against the Hollow Earth Iwi since they would fear their gravity-based technology and psychic powers that can communicate with the Titans. We could even see them try to experiment on Iwi captives and eventually create the Mutant army from Final Wars as part of their plan to destroy the Titans. Mecha Ghidorah, Destroyah or Space Godzilla- maybe an evil Titan subservient to humans that was grown in space to avoid Godzilla finding out, could be their final weapon.

I think for the gut-wrenching stuff with Godzilla, we could have flashbacks to the death of his family. But instead of it being caused by Titans, it was caused by humans. Dangerville did a video once about how humanity once hunted the Titans. And in mythologies, while there are always those who worshipped gods (Titans in this case), there are others that wanted to take them down. There could've been some ancient human tribes that hunted Titans for flesh. Godzilla's family could've been some of the casualties. And in the present, humans are hunting Titans again; destroying them en masse so they no longer have to fear them. Godzilla would be reminded of the time when his family fell prey to these same twisted deeds, and could have long thoughts about whether humanity is worth protecting, or if it needs to be destroyed to truly keep the balance of nature. Mothra is of course now alive to console Godzilla during this time of confusion for him, which would really help solidify their relationship. I think this sequel needs to be Godzilla-centered (without Kong) so we can focus more on him and his past.

An idea I had since kotm was announced was that what if one of the burnt up muto eggs ended up surviving. Then there would be a spin-off where it’s muto v muto and then the next one would be the gang vs muto prime

Wonder if the next movie villain will be able to beat Godzilla’s plot armor

I had a theory that they could have a Monsterverse version of Kiryu using Dagon’s remains. This could be like another attempt to put Godzilla under control since he’s gotten power hungry. The original Kiryu was made out of the first Godzilla remains, so the humans could do something similar in the Monsterverse. They could introduce a Titanosaurus who’s been minding his own in the Hallow Earth but Kiryu comes and controls him. Then they could bring Rodan to team up with Godzilla.

Godzilla on many occasions has created life from one of his skin cells spliting off of his body. There is one Gojira who became so powerful after it "ate a star" (possibly Spacegodzilla, but he absorbed a Black Hole, so idk). Biollante is part Rose, part girl, and part Gojira, so she's basically Godzilla's weird plant daughter. Destroyah should be at the end of the Monsterverse, but Spacegodzilla and Biollante should definately be most recommended (or atleast some American equivalent, since they are both from Japan). Edit: After watching the end of the video, Mecha Ghidorah is a Ghidorah who was mechanically "fixed" by Humans to kill Godzilla. Seeing what Monsterverse Ghidorah has done, I think Humans creating Mecha Ghidorah to terrorize the Hollow Earth would be a nightmare for everyone involved

Surprised that The Return of Godzilla/Godzilla 1985 wasn't included in your list of emotional Godzilla films. The end of the movie STILL chokes me up as Godzilla screeches as he falls into the lava pit of Mount Mihara while the films' stellar and super sad theme music plays.

That was a great piece Al! Great job! I’ve often thought that if they wanted to kill G, it would take a virus or something he couldn’t fight off since conventional weapons were not affective. But on the other hand, you have different fingers.

Honesty I quite like the idea of humanity invading the hollow earth, Avatar style. However I do believe it could be the catalyst which could wake Spacegodzilla if they are still down there, which in turn alerts the big G to the earth and once again showing humanity's folly in trying to control the natural order.

Why do people keep saying Godzilla is going to die? It literally can’t happen, when legendary got the license to make Godzilla it was said that Godzilla can’t die, so yeah I don’t think Godzilla is going to die and I don’t think destroyah is going to be coming in just yet he is more of an endgame villain something for all the titans to face together at the end of the monsterverse. I feel like if anything space Godzilla might be the next villain because because not only was it kinda hinted at much like how shimo was but if they really want to make a story that is heartfelt and a way to develop Godzilla’s character then why not have him face a member of his own species, we all know that Godzilla is the last of his kind but what if there was another but it was so lost and power hungry that Godzilla would have to kill it, that’s at least what I think, let me know what you all think.

The idea of Humanity against the titans made me think of a possible out come...A crossover with the pacifc rim jaegers!! (No lore conection to the jaegers lore) Humanity builds the the jaegers to fight the titans using apex cybernetics .. its obvious they can make things large enough as jaegers (Mech Godzilla)

I've often thought that Godzilla considers the entire human race as a kind of titan. He doesn't care about individuals but the entire species. However just like any other titan that steps out of line I'm sure he'd put his foot down if humans cross the line. And unfortunately we've been antagonizing him for quite a while.

Now that we know there are other monkeys (giant apes whatever), Kong is no longer the "last of his kind" so in my opinion he needs to be benched (preferably killed but that's just me). His story is complete. Godzilla's characterization in the MV doesn't sit perfectly right with me, spoilers for GxK2: when Godzilla is going around absorbing radiation the humans were saying "wow he's powering up for a big fight he knows something we don't," but when Kong went to get Godzilla's help for the big fight Godzilla was supposedly powering up for and knew was coming, Godzilla just attacks Kong like a mindless overaggressive crocodile. Like he'll just attack anything that moves even though he already knows Kong isn't a threat. Back in the day there were always scenes of Godzilla sizing his opponent up (usually with some kung fu hand movements that looked silly) but the MV Godzilla feels very dumb in comparison. Like I feel Old Godzilla would have immediately recognized the blue crystal was controlling Shimu and destroyed it with his breath when Scar King dropped it. Instead he just kept blasting at whatever while Kong had to be the "smart one" and go for the crystal. and then even the baby monkey was cognizant enough to know it needed to be destroyed. This comment is already a rant but I really feel Godzilla's characterization (or lack of) in the MV isn't totally representative of the giant, indestructible, sometimes malicious, sometimes understanding, lizard we've seen throughout the last 50 years.

I think Space Godzilla has a chance in appearing in the next film, since of all the crystals in the Hollow Earth and such. And processing all of this Space Goji might be an anti hero in this film if he or she appears. I think Destroyah has a high chance of appearing in this new sequel, might be another chance for the G Man to go Thermo nuclear again. Hence it being a threat created from mankind according to Alastair.

I have a Theory that in the ocean fight scene in KOTM after the oxygen destroyer was dropped Ghidorah was gonna fight Godzilla but he flew away not because he was scared of Godzilla, but because he saw Destoroyah growing and he knew Destoroyah could kill him in seconds

Even though the Oxygen Destroyer was deployed in KOTM, i think it's far too early for destoroyah, plus he may be MOST expensive to even get the OK on for it, those like Biollante or SpaceGodzilla (likely renamed in later film but idk) are more likely, SPACEGODZILLA MORESO cause of not only that Mural of a flying Godzilla, but also in the current film it was even said on film in another Mural of a "Godzilla who Eats the Star", which that's just ANOTHER Hint of possible Spacegodzilla, and who knows of the later film that's all about Godzilla, we could even possibly get GODZILLA JUNIOR but we'll just have to see for anything that comes up

I feel like just by the fact that time has been on Destroyah's side between the whole timeline of between the detonation of the oxygen destroyer and Godzilla X Kong New Empire

While Destoroyah would be a fitting monster for the monsterverse, especially since the oxygen destroyer was introduced in Godzilla King of the Monsters 2019, I honestly don't think he should be the next main antagonist. Destoroyah was definitely a great monster in a great Godzilla movie, but even in that movie, he couldn't defeat Godzilla and was ultimately taken down by the humans. I honestly think that a more fitting monster for the next monsterverse film, which has been hinted at, should be SpaceGodzilla.

I do hope that the villain in the upcoming Monsterverse film will be the classic kaiju, either SpaceGodzilla or Destoroyah. But I also hope that the next won't be the last, I feel like bringing more classic kaiju (like Anguirus, Gorosaurus, or even Rodan returning. Though it obviously won't be likely) to the monsterverse back to screen to expand the verse.

All three are great in their own right. I feel like some can even come into play because of the other. Having the government hunt or ahm, Destroy All Monsters to then be faced with one they can’t take down. Or be shown as said, the damage to the Earth humanity has caused but only the monsters can fix. But the one I lean towards more while adding a bit of detail is; Space Godzilla. Most theories are already set up so well. But this one, I feel like it’s been burning on people’s mind the most. Him being a dark version of Godzilla and even be used to show off bits of the titan war can be poetic to GxK. Sure it’ll be a rehash. But a few added moments could turn it into something special relating to Gojis past and the larger Monsterverse

I would love to see a Godzilla focused movie in which humanity recreates the Orca to turn ALL THE TITANS against him as a means of eliminating him once and for all, (and seeing as he is literally their king that would be frickin awesome) and he tries to stop it on his own, but the sheer number of massive titans overwhelms him, driving him to call on Kong and Shimo for help. Kong is skeptical at first, because he has a family to protect and a whole tribe to run, but eventually concedes, but during the final battle Kong saves Godzilla and in doing so sacrifices himself. Shimo and Godzilla bring his body back to hollow earth, and the Kongs are furious. They attack Godzilla, leading Shimo to kill one of them. This makes them still angrier, but Godzilla and Shimo manage to escape back to the surface. This could be not only a cool plot but could also lead directly into a Suko focused sequel, a now teenaged Kong bent on revenge, giving us Shimo and Godzilla vs THE ENTIRE KONG ARMY, which I think would just look freaking sick. Just my idea.

Slick had a really cool concept of Gigan being created from the remains of Muto Prime by Apex. Maybe they could do something similar here. I think Destoroyah is a bit too early

Currently in the Monsterverse the only thing keeping the other Titans in check is Godzilla. This means Legendary has painted themselves into a bit of a corner. Even if they introduce an heir for Godzilla, that young Kaiju will not be strong enough to survive attacks from the likes of Rodan and such. Consequently, whatever movie comes next, there can't really be a Godzilla-ending fight or Humanity dies. Additionally, if Humanity decides to go down into Hollow Earth to wipe the Titans out, Mothra may very well turn on Humanity and call on Godzilla to stir up the other Titans into fighting Humanity. Once again we are back to Humanity dies. Wingard is going to have to walk a very thin tightrope on this one.

Biollante Could be an option but also mechagodzilla could return but this time stronger than ever.

I really wish we could just focus on the 17 known titans and the potential for unknown numbers in middle and hollow earth. Scylla and Tiamat are dead, Behemoth is still recovering after his run in with Amaluk. We need original new titans and super titans. Also, Invading could awaken the really big ones.

Biolante could also make sense with the rebirth of Mothra waking her up or something like that.

Actually they don't need to do Destoroyah all at once. If I remember correctly he's first made up of several smaller pieces before coming together to form the whole creature. So what they can do is like the infinity stones in mcu they can have the individual pieces make appearances in the movies building up to a grand future movie were the pieces unit and Destoroyah is born.
