i like to make myself pick one of the two first pages of coach suggestions for offense, then i can block whoever i want, send one guy in motion and do one hot route. it was fun like that. on defense you kinda have to just play defense, the coach will just put you in crap defenses and the cpu will pick you apart all day lol (m23) oh and no cheese blitzes on defense. i try to keep it as realistic as possible for better results
Dood you talk about simply using the Dime package on defense but you forget the CPU can adapt and make a miraculous play. You can't just spam plays, AI isn't that dumb
watashiwaa, if you watched the entire video, i explain exactly how to do it (make sure to listen to all the tips). a few quick points, do NOT blitz your user. if you do, all bets are off and the computer will play "miraculously" as you put it. just run the plays stock. it's ok to pinch your line or shade your coverage up or down, but don't adjust past that. just lurk the middle and you'll be good to go bro! just practice it brother and you'll see. every once in a while, the computer might just play on steroids but that RARELY happens more than one drive a game. at the beginning of the year, the computer was toasting me way too often. that's the whole reason i made the video. trust the video and trust yourself dood. i promise you, stick w/the video tips and you'll see. really hope this helps dood!!!!
Started a franchise on all-pro (I’m a returning Madden player, last one I really got into was Madden 08 lol) and this has really helped especially for defense. Turned Damone Clark into a superstar. BUT! I am struggling on offense, Derek Carr can’t get these plays done lol… I’ve been simming offense and playing defense. Hoping I can get a good QB in the draft. I’m playing as the Browns so no first rounder. Any tips for trying to execute these plays? Derek Carr is cheeks

LMAO!!! yeah dood, i have an entire franchise tutorial set of videos and they're on all-madden. i tried to stay true to my iform close/iform strong video for most of the season so people could see that using those 2 formations like 80% of the time can easily beat the CPU on all-madden. it's funny that madden 08 was YOUR last game because that was MY last madden too prior to madden 16. then played madden 18. then madden 21. now madden 24. it's a LOT to take in how much the game has changed...but that madden 08 was THE BEST MADDEN EVER!!! anyway, i would suggest you watch my iform close/iform slot video. those 2 formations it's SUPER EASY to beat the computer using them. and then i'd suggest watching the Gun Tight Offset TE video I made. i use those 3 formations 95% of the time in my franchise series and was able to go 16-1 (the only loss was a simmed loss) and beat the CPU easily most of the time (a couple of the games were semi-competitive). hope that helps bro!!!!
kingphillip, it's easy to get the playbooks messed up if you're not familiar. the OFFENSIVE playbook is the JETS and the DEFENSIVE playbook is the chiefs. now, if you're playing MUT, you HAVE to go to the STRATEGIES tab under your LINEUP and manually add those playbooks or they won't trigger. I bet that's what you did, forgot to add your playbooks to your lineup. hope that helps brother!!!
Hey I have a question, how do you see the green bar above the wide receivers head when the cpu is about to throw the ball? I don’t see that in my games
that's because it's in practice mode i believe!! practice mode is FUNKY. players play weird, we get different screen overlays, etc. that's probably what it is dood!!
@@adept500dood, i'm not sure. i think it's just visible because it's in practice mode bro! sometimes in practice mode it'll even bring up the DEFENSIVE coverage. it's just weird.

Im keeping my fingers crossed but i used the same concept with some different plays and i only pinch my line and crash them down and every run so far has been a tfl, and got some interceptions, i got a fumble recovery for a td also, all in the first quarter lol im hoping it just wasnt my dumb luck bc the cpu murders me on all madden

Maybe it was just bad luck or one of those "random roided" CPU games but i tried these defensive tips lastnight and got absolutely cooked on all madden. Was great for stopping the run but I got ripped apart in the air, 0 takeaways.
dan, if you watch my most recent franchise video highlights against the chiefs you'll see that it happens to all of us. a couple of extra tips dood...if the 4-3 6-1 isn't working (most typically they'll dot you up in the seams like 3 or 4 straight times), switch right away to dime. that will USUALLY do the trick. about 1 drive a game the computer is just CRAZY and that's how i weather that storm...i switch right away from dime to 4-3 6-1 or vice versa. also, when the computer is doing that...keep CALM...try your best to laugh it off and then go into CLOCK CONTROL mode, hitting R3 twice at the play selection screen to get to "chew clock" (i'm sure you already know how to do that but just in case). and then just methodically chew clock as you're slowly driving down the field. i will simply gain control by taking the lead...and then chew chew chew clock to limit the CPU's ability for the cheese. sometimes dood, if 4-3 6-1 and dime BOTH aren't working, i'll switch to dime and run the FS blitz, dragging my blitzing safety into the box, putting him in a vert hook and then shading down. that will almost ALWAYS stop that CPU crud. you'll see me do it in that franchise vid against the chiefs and it saved me from the cheating. hope that helps brother!!!!
@@kgoatgaming4004 appreciate the extra tips and reply man, maybe a part of the issue is the franchise I play in has a cool down on play calls and a call limit. Means I can't spam the same plays too much. Will try those tips in my next game and see how it goes✌️
@@danjw1394 so what you just said kinda makes a difference. if you're playing humans, these tips don't really apply. that's a completely different kind of defense you gotta play. but i get what you're saying about the playcall limit whether its against the CPU or a human. dollar and dime would be much better defenses then because there are so many other options to choose from that are still very similar defenses. you can create the exact same plays with a cover 3 cloud as the cover 3 blitz in dime for example. just a simple "blitz the DB" adjustment and it'd be the exact same play. try playing around w/it and lemme know bro!!!
it actually does dood! i haven't lost to all-madden except at the beginning of the year. BUTTTTT, ya kinda gotta cheese it to do it, which is what bothers me. i'd like to play REAL football and be able to win vs. cheesing. so i hearya man!!
totally man. the kick return was OBVIOUSLY on rookie (can't just waltz through the kickoff return team like that on all-madden---at least not easily). everything else is all-madden. i was demonstrating how to take a guy and block him on the kick return and what it can do. i think there was ONE all-madden kick return--the rest were rookie or pro. you can tell it's all madden for gameplay. practice mode kick return was easier to demonstrate on rookie. no worries...i'm not fraudulent. i think one of the kickoffs was on rookie or pro mut challenge too. the kickoffs and returns don't matter bro. it was the theory for kickoffs and returns i was getting at. but you can def tell all the gameplay is all-madden.
@@modh_ent yeah man, it's SOOO difficult splicing these videos together and getting highlights out of several different sessions. it's a super big pain in the booty. i DO remember that practice mode day and i was trying to demonstrate how to send a guy up on the kickoff return to give an advantage with blocking and it was taking FOREVER and it just doesn't SHOW as well on all-madden...you can barely even tell what i was doing and what effect it was having. so for the videos-sake, i did that on rookie mode. i was gonna do the same thing on the kickoffs to demonstrate how to get free for a hitstick but actually had gameplay that night that caused a fumble so i figured that was good enough. kickoffs are just SO HARD to demonstrate because the movements are so subtle. it's not easy putting these videos together dood. some videos won't take me much more than the video length because i'm just narrating from practice mode vs. over the top of video clips. but putting those video clips together and then narrating over them takes SOOOO long. that's why almost all of my videos of late are just me sitting live in game or practice mode because these SPLICED videos are SUCH A PAIN. i have one coming out tonight that's SPLICED and it took me probably 4 or 5 hours to put together! anyway man, welcome to the channel. we're gonna have some fun next season. i'm hoping to do some more regular livestreams and maybe even have a subscriber tournament with prizes!!
Yeah I should have stuck with my initial instincts and not of bought this piece of shit.granted this isn’t 2005 and who the fuck plays madden more than 5 times a year right? But damn there is no way to stop the cpu on offense to even entice me to play more. I’m not into that mut garbage I just wanna be able to play a realistic game of football where they don’t go 22-23 with 7000 yards and 50 tds, they never miss unless you get a sack
