I have some questions for you. 1. The Russians often rely on motorcycle or ATV assaults to advance. They launch artillery and/or FABs at a Ukrainian position, then rush in with motorcycles or ATVs. If they can get to the trench before the defenders emerge from their dugouts and get to the parapets, they will be able to storm it. This would be easily countered with barbed wire, but setting up barbed wire is difficult due to constant enemy drone coverage. Would it be plausible to use drones to create a belt of caltrops 100-200 meters in front of Ukrainian positions? Caltrops are cheap and light, so you could probably deploy them fairly quickly with small drones. The missions should be fairly quick (because they don't require travelling far from your own position) and not cause drone losses (as there is unlikely to be enemy EW so close to friendly lines), but seem like they would be fairly good at popping tires on these bikes and ATVs, leaving any Russians who attempt these tactics stranded in the open. 2. How plausible would it be to paint PFM-1 mines brown and drop them into Russian trenches at night? These missions would be faster than regular ones, as you do not actually need to locate an enemy, but just fly to their trenches, and safer, as EW might be turned off to save batteries when troops are in the dugouts, and as shooting down drones is probably harder at night. It seems like it would be difficult to spot small brown mines at the bottom of muddy trenches, so this would be a good way to inflict attrition on Russian forces across the frontline. 3. Would it be viable to have at least some drones stored in frontline trenches, instead of several kilometers behind the front with their operators? One problem with drones is that they are much slower than artillery, and thus may not be able to react in time to a rapid assault. If you give a few drones to each frontline position and give the men there the ability to activate those drones and notify the operators when they need help, you would be able to have drones in position and ready to respond to any attack. A few grenade droppers flying around would make it very difficult for the Russians to actually storm a trench, and some sort of anti-air ramming drone could disrupt the activity of Russian surveillance drones and thus hurt coordination. 4. Would it be viable to have some drones based behind Russian lines? Again, the slow travel time of drones seems to be a major issue, as if you spot some Russian vehicles or soldiers with a recon drone, they may be in cover or beyond drone range by the time an FPV arrives. If you instead fly FPVs around to look for targets, most of them will run out of batteries without finding anything. Instead of doing this, you could either fly some FPVs behind enemy lines and land them there, or carry FPVs behind enemy lines and land them there using larger drones (like Baba Yaga or Queen Hornet) so that they have more battery life remaining. You would land them in places where they would be unlikely to be spotted (perhaps concealed by vegetation, or in a ditch, or at least not in line of sight of the road). The landed drone will probably have enough battery to remain in position for hours if it is not actually flying. When a recon drone spots a target near one of your landed drones, or when the landed drone spots a target with its own camera, an operator can take control of it and use it to hit the target. This would greatly reduce the distance your drones need to travel in order to reach a target, thus increasing the percentage of drones that actually manage to carry out an attack and decreasing the number of targets which escape before your drones can get into position to strike. 5. Would it be possible to take a long-range strike drone such as the AQ-400 Scythe, add a signal repeater to it, and put 2-4 FPVs under the wings? These drones have been fairly successful at hitting Russian oil infrastructure and airbases (though the planes tend to flee before they get there, right?). It seems that strapping FPVs to them would be a useful way to turn them from improvised cruise missiles into potentially-reusable (AQ-400 can have landing gear?) attack/interceptor aircraft. Good applications for this would be to fly along railroad tracks and launch FPVs at Russian locomotives or to patrol behind Ukrainian lines and launch FPVs at Orlan/Supercam/Zala/Lancet drones (the speed and range of the long-range strike drone makes them good for getting interceptor FPVs into position to strike).

Дуже толковий і розумний fpvшник, відчувається потужність інтелекту. Рекомендую забрати його з польотів і призначити командиром підрозділу БпАК. Самі польоти - це рутинна робота, її зможуть виконати інші оператори. Якщо дати йому людей і ресурси, ефективність роботи зросте в рази.
