Minegumo - Japanese special premium Tier IX destroyer.
An Asashio-class destroyer. Ten ships in this series were built between 1935 and 1939, following a design created after Japan departed from international treaties aimed at restricting naval armament. In the Pacific War, Minegumo played a role in the invasions of Malaya, the Philippines, and the Dutch East Indies. She also took part in the Battle of the Java Sea and frequently transported reinforcements as part of the Tokyo Express. However, on March 5, 1943, during another transport mission, the destroyer was sunk by an American squadron in Blackett Strait.
Minegumo was first released for sale on 16 Feburary 2024.

The worst Z52 player I've ever seen, no survivability expert skill, no brain, just running and fear of a torp DD, not even try to fire when he has adventage. This Minegumo is more like a gunboat, that's so ridiculous lmao.

Prime example of why I only play co-op now. Too many awful, barely sentient players makes the game supremely unfun. At least with bots it’s just mindless entertainment and not actively bad.

just a lucky game. z52 even didnt try to hunt him and got rekted by his guns. this minegumo guy has good stat but not too high, z52 low stat with deadbrain. gunboat was scared by a torpboat. ridiculous game

@@bierfuerall Minegumo has alternative torps just like the Yamagiri. Notice how there are two torpedo icons in the armament selection, one with 15km (regular speed) and the other with 6.5km (stupid fast). Both were highlighted at the start of the vid

"this minegumo guy has good stat but not too high", dude has 71% WR over 100 solo battles in the Minegumo. "not too high", "just a lucky game"... Z52 is roughly average, although he has 52% in this ship, a bit above average. Z52 only has 10% more HE DPM than Minegumo, so it's not too wise to get into a fair fight in the open in this situation, especially if you don't have a good HP advantage. I think that at the end he tried to disengage because he knew he couldn't win a gunfight against a Minegumo+Izumo, hence why he didn't shoot. He got unlucky he got set on fire twice! That part was very lucky indeed. Besides, he did try to hunt Minegumo down, but that's not the easiest to do when the ship is so stealthy and actively avoiding you. I would love to see you do half of that. Oh wait, you never played a DD.
