the issue is tho that they made her even more unplayable since they basically took away the only way you could even play her without getting destroyed. they basically made her only playable way far worse but did not give her anything in return to be able to play her effectively in any other way

@@vanlink1 I'm not talking about giving the killer a 3 gen by mistake. I'm talking when the killer plays that way from the start, you should do all the other gens first. There is a very big difference.

@@theSUICIDEfox Can you please explain how is it different? 'cause to me it all sounds the same. "Do every other gen, but not the 3-gen" either because survs were not paying attention or because killer was defending the gens from the start. Anyway you look at it, you end up in the same situation, having to break a 3-gen.

​@@vanlink1 Saving the 3 gen for last when the killer is playing for it means they won't chase and you can do all the other gens for free and save resources (pallets/hook states). They are forced into an all or nothing situation meaning they have no time to recover from a failed strategy. They are backed into a corner where they have to commit to their strategy to win, and if there are still 4 survivors with plenty of pallets and 2-3 hook states each then they will lose. But if you try to break them first, you lose resources and then they can potentially recover from failing to protect a 3 gen because you still have 2 other gens left to do. If they aren't protecting a 3 gen from the start, then yes break the 3 gen because you don't want to be in a situation where you have lost resources AND NOW the killer can defend 3 gens and win by attrition.

With how poorly designed Skull Merchant is, making her unplayable for the time being is a GOOD thing. They can always rework her more properly later, but with how she is now, it's better to make her unplayable than to continue letting her ruin the game for the players going against her.

Bc back when dead hard was changed to add the mending state, there were a few cheaters who had auto dead hard. But people assumed that the majority of players were using auto dead hard if you consistently landed it so they’d accuse you of having it. It’s just a fun little way to poke fun at that. Even though it is a bit outdated now since no one uses it anymore

Just a joke on his part since people in the past have accused him of having Auto DH

Everytime a survivor a drone, she's losing that disabled drone. Issue is that she defends 3 gens with 4 drones. She only puts 3 up (or 2 and physically defends the 3rd gen) and thus has extras to set up once the ones already up are removed. And then two more issues: - one same survivor cannot remove several drones, - the timer on the tracking is quite short, so after less than a minute she would get one back, which is why removing them was pointless. On top of that, she was Undetectable while in her drone's zone and outside of it, got Haste in several ways, had addons to make skill checks silent, etc., her whole kit was based around defending gens and sneaking on people doing gens. And the cherry on top was the fact that if you ignore drones (or miss the QTE), you're Exposed. For a full minute. And the timer resets the moment you step into another drone's zone. Her whole kit was braindead and ridiculous. Even after the changes, I'm still annoyed when I think about how killers like Myers or Ghostface had to be smart about their power and work hard to get survivors exposed while she didn't have anything to do to provoke hers except set up a 3 gens. The fact they thought it was okay to give her everything without the need to think or make any kinds of effort was the most triggering part of that killer. And it shows with her playerbase: so many of her mains are whining about stuff like "We should be able to see how many Lock On stacks survivors have !" when other killers with the same type of passive power mechanic (like Plague and Onryo) also don't have access to it until it's full, so why should SM have it ? But well, they were used to having everything handfed to them, so it makes sense they're asking for it.

To be honest don’t she is dog water now. The buffs from PTB to now will do nothing. She’s just another mid killer now. By all means play her if you like her cosmetics (she doesn’t have some cool outfits)

@tomh779 I'm aware she's a lot weaker now, but the killers I play the most (Ghostface, Knight and Dredge) are also somewhat weak, so maybe I wouldn't mind it lol

I feel like that game was the most technically difficult to pull off, but it had similar amount of hooks/deaths to most of the games shown. Every inch the killer moved needed responsive comms. The whole video was super cool!
