Destroying the Flesh | Christian Character in Action - Lesson 10 

Of all of Israel's ancient enemies, none picture the destructive lusts of our flesh quite like the Amalekites. A warlike people, the children of Amalek persecuted the Israelites from the time they were delivered from Egypt to the time they entered into the promised land. So it is for the Christian believer. The lusts of our flesh will seek to hinder our walk with God from the day of our salvation until the day when we depart to be with the Lord. With the prophet Samuel as our example, Pastor James Knox describes the biblical remedy for dealing with our flesh and walking in the fullness of obedience to the Lord.
