Ever wondered how bedobedo got those juicy A.I. colors on the #01 car? I did too, and tried to reproduce it back in '14 with mixed results. Fast-forward 4 years and we're back in action.

Great work, I've been waiting for this since 2014, since you first made that video haha. Well actually, I saw the video of bedobedo back in my childhood, even then I already wanted it and now, many years later, it's very close to completion :)

I first played this game at 7 years old when it first hit shelves and I always wanted to play as the other vehicles ( Especially Rivit's Car) It is so awesome seeing this done!

There is multiplayer patch for DD2 pc version to play online. Kali's multiplayer supports destruction derby 2. I wonder if anyone has tried that? I read somewhere some years ago that you can customize your car in online multiplayer but i'm not sure.

So when should I be ticking the boxes during running the game? On the loading screens? Do you need to tick the bottom box as well?

Will there ever be fully functional Gameshark Codes or won't the old ones be reworked ? I really wanna play this on my new PS1 Classic Mini but I obviously can't use ePSXe on there and have to stick to Gameshark Codes

I know this is a longshot asking on a video this old, but it seems with the duckiestation emulator these codes work perfectly. I was wondering if there was a code for the car your looking to replace to give them the textures of the 01 car?

Can you do a tutorial on how you get this to work? I got else 1.9.0 and your cheat table but I cant get it to work. Still loads car 01 for me.

Okay so at first it didn't work, either Gameshark or Cheat Engine. I don't know the reason for the gameshark variants, but for Cheat Engine, it's because my version of EPSXE is different from your (I use 1.6.0). However I managed to trace back the palette values and transpose all your list into correct position (they were off by 4A0B60 HEX or 4 852 576 decimal lmao) Anyways, thanks to you I also learned what breakpoints do xD Though at first I thought my emulator had crashed x)

I figured compatibility between different ePSXe versions could be an issue (1.9.0 here). Did you get it to work after fixing the list or nah?

Yup I did. The values, addresses, and the breakpoint all worked once I moved them around tot he appropriate areas for my version of epsxe ^^ Though your video made it look as if you could change on the fly at first, but I got it after a few tries :D It's weird how it seems 88 and 99 are programmed differently than the other cars. I tried giving all the car my skin (or the same skin for that matter) and 88 was the only one with it's colors still and broken door palette. As for 99, it's the only AI model to have visual deformation when damaged...

Better way to do that would be allowing player to drive the ai car like i have in my cheats.. but then somehow let player car have ai. Still this is a good method too, however driving ai car is better imo. Feels better cuz you arent starting first.
