holy shit- those idiotic vandals burned down the nice building :( thank you so much for doing this-now i definitly know what i'm going to document this coming summer. it sucks that this happens to a place with alot of history
Im a street artist by the name Duece and this building is WAY different now. Lots of kids destroyed this place however, open minded people who like art would LOVE some of the stuff thats on the walls out there. Including my pieces I hope
@BaltimoreAndOhioRR from what i've found on Google, the supposed factory is located off of Henryton Rd, on the left-hand side. its the second road off to the left you pass Henryton Center Rd 1st (the original entrance to Henryton)- if you want i can give you a link to the satellite image of it
They started tearing Henryton down this past Mon with the oldest building , the main one in the middle the first one to be demolished. Demo is closed to the public too and security is now up there 24/7
Luckily I visited before most of the destruction. It was a lot of fun to walk around and look at the place. I think most of the explorer types left things alone, but the kids wrecked the joint. Good times...
its funny-my dad told me about the old patapsco (might be spelled wrong) plant that was over there-and i think it was right across from Henryton. actually went there today and saw the powerplant :D and got pix on my phone but i cant upload them :( but the thrill was great :D
@BaltimoreAndOhioRR you got to be kidding me-THATS where the theater used to be? i swear i walked past that same area and didnt see anything you know of the old Patapsco factory that was right across the street from the hospital? dad told me about that today while we were riding through the area and about how it was flooded during hurricane Agnes. i wonder if its still standing?
