Yes, Lady Donna, my sister turned me on to Skin So Soft for mosquitoes some years ago...and it does work! You and Pastor M remind me of her and the brother of my heart (in-law) working on projects together and your ingenuity. Such blessed couples. Pray for my sister who is in some early stages of Alzheimers but she is blessed with a wonderful husband (just like you) who takes excellent care of her! I praise God for all of you.❤

Ms Donna you have to have a company come out and spray the backyard for mosquitoes. I have had my yard sprayed for the past 3 years and it works. They come every 4 weeks and it helps to have it sprayed all season so when we do impromptu cooking in the yard we're covered

Hello Consider spacing extra long screws along the black rail. .When screwed all the way in the boards can be adjusted or removed. When partially screwed out the screws can be supports for the privacy boards. Stain. Paint to your liking. A roll up dark screen may work also as suggested by another viewer. That is even more temporary. Your home is nice. So is your outside space. I looooooove the friendship you all have with each other and your family.

Hello Family and thank you for sharing. Just a suggestion. Why not juuse the retractable screens and you can get them as dark as you like that way you can bring them down when you want privacy and put them up when you feel like you don’t need the privacy. That would be an easier way to do it and quickest. Looking good.🙏🏾❤️

Mrs. Donna when you were talking about staining the boards have you ever thought about doing a process called: (Shou Sugi Ban) = It consists of burning the surface of a board deeply to obtain a superficial layer of carbon. The wood planks thus transformed were used at the time as cladding for wooden houses. I don't think many people have it and I think it would look in your back yard.

YESSS love what y'all are doing, and I want to do the same. Plus, when you're doing it yourself, you save money!!

I get it, privacy from the neighboring homes 2nd story windows. I was like, heck they added the wooden fencing😆. Yeah, I used to used SSS over 40yrs ago- doesn't work for me, not then not as of again 5yrs ago 😢. You can use wooden dowels as spacers and glue them to tops so you can still slide the panels upward for removal if needed.

Mrs. Donna a suggestion for a privacy issue. Look into a Patio Shade. This way when the family is not out on the patio you can roll it up. This would be a good security problem solver
