I really prefer the TB but I got the RM because of the back pocket 😫….that’s a must for me. I hope I don’t regret it Update!… I don’t regret it at all. The quality is amazing ❤️❤️❤️

I've had the Rebecca Minkoff bag for 2 years, used it almost every day and it still looks great. It still holds its shape, the leather looks good, and there's no loose threads or anything. In general I love the quality of RM bags, I can use and abuse them and they last and last! They're the perfect balance of price point x style x quality to me.

Not in the market for either bag, but I actually like the TB better in this side-by-side. Some of the design elements seem sleeker - continuous pattern on the bottom, fewer seams putting together components of the bag, etc. The RM seems like a great bag, too, but I see where they made some efficiency decisions in production.

I have many Rebecca Minkoff bags and I love them all. The quality is excellent and they wear well. In my opinion, Rebecca Minkoff and Teddy Blake are the two best designers of contemporary bags today. Hope you enjoy your new bags. Anne😄

Wow. I have the Kira in Crazy Pink and it is really soft. I also have the Edie. I agree on a lot of your points. I lie the more colorful TB. The Edie I still like, but honestly that hook on the front is kind of annoying. I guess i feel like it should be functional. Still 2 nice bags.

Great video So informative! I love my New Kira - I have only had my Kira for a week and it is the updated version and some changes have been made - it has Napa Leather, the magnetic latch is square and very strong, Tory Burch hardware on front is larger and more noticeable and finally the round rivets that chain exits are all metal now. I have just ordered the Edie - due to your video - waiting on receiving - They both are beautiful! :) Thank you for your videos - love!!

My opinion Tory Burch DOES NOT hold up well. I’ve spent thousands to find that out 😕 Rebecca Minkoff is quality leather for sure. Everything I’ve bought from her is still beautiful

So true! My TB Perry tote has nearly as much wear at one year as my RM Moto hobo does at almost 4 years. I don’t treat them differently. Just using them to/from work.

I got the TB a few months back in that color and sent it back. I have the Kira wallet in black and love the soft leather so I figured I would like the bag too. Sadly, I was wrong. I have an RM Edie backpack and love that! Gonna have to find a crinkly leather flap back now!! Love that burgundy color 😌

Same! Bought my YSL, took one look at it, sent it right back. I already have the RM Edie in Black with silver hardware, and I love it more. Much less $$$, with no compromises whatsoever. Great review and comparison to TB as well.

The hardware of every Tory Burch bag I have had as chipped and worn terribly even though I baby my bags. My Rebecca Minkoff bags have never done that. I have only ever had older style Minkoff bags when they still used metal zippers inside though, so I hope the hardware is still the same quality.

Rebecca Minkoff was one of my first loves for handbags - their leather was fantastic back in the day. I am drawn more to the look of the Tory Burch bag in this video but I think it's because I just love that taupe color.

I knew u were going to choose the Minkoff. The black Edie top handle with the black hardware is my favorite Minkoff bag. I didn't see it until after purchasing and using my YSL puffer bag. I chose it over the Chanel 19 bc of the length of the chains, I'm 5'2, but so wish it had a back pocket :(

Both are definitely gorgeous! The kira has that classy soft kind of look and the edie has the classy yet edgy style, as well. Love them both. But, price wise would get the minkoff, I'm feeling the style to it! 😍✨

I know excatly what you mean about the leather on the TB I was really disappointed and returned mine. Although purchased on sale, for the sale price ( and original price) the leather felt cheap not the soft lambskin I was expecting ☹

I recently got my Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag in suede & I love it. It fits everything I carry. I actually like the strong magnetic closure. Gives me peace that if I over stuff it, it won’t come off.

I had a Rebecca Minkoff bag like 12 years ago, the Morning After Bag I think. Beautiful purple and SO heavy I never used it. I like some of her stuff but dislike the decorative clasp hardware she uses a lot. I don’t know which bag I prefer, but I could tell you like the RM one better! Thanks for sharing!

I have a small Edie in denim. I love it so very much. The hardware feels so nice. I wish I got the larger size but I may purchase another in leather. Great quality, and they have such a great feel.

I just purchased the Rebecca Minkoff Edie in the silver nylon. I appreciate this video, but right off the bat, I preferred the Rebecca Minkoff bag because of the leather. I hope I will like the silver nylon. It comes in green and black as well.

With me it comes down to the crinkly leather and the hardware on the Minkoff bag, neither of which I care for. The Tory Burch bag would have to be my choice although, darn it, I wish there were an outside pocket.

I actually find the sounds of the chains and movement of the bags to be kind of ASMR. So I really like it. I actually really like the strap comparison video and the playing with the heart coin purse for the same reason and sometimes listen to them when I go to sleep. Maybe I'm wierd lol.

RM products are of higher quality than TB products. Although TB’s style is much more similar to Chanel, but the quality is crap!

I have 2 of each of these bags because I love this style so much & agree the RM wins for me overall as well. The back pocket was the deciding factor; however, the slightly larger capacity & better value also contributed to my decision. I have noticed that the feel of the leather can vary on the TB bags. My Red Apple TB feels a little more luxurious than my Crazy Pink TB bag. I also noticed the strap lengths on the RM bags vary depending on the color. The strap of my RM Edie in Tahini is significantly shorter than the strap on my RM Pinot Noir Edie. So much so that the Tahini is an uncomfortable crossbody length & I prefer the straps doubled for short shoulder use on that one.

The Rebecca Minkoff handbag 👜, in my opinion, suits your personal style better. They are both fairly comparable but I agree with your assessment. Both look equally good on you. On another note, “RU-vid made me do it!” Yes, I ordered the Tory Burch handbag in taupe after watching the video where we were’t supposed to see it. Actually, my search started then. The price has gone up considerably on some colors, which include the taupe. The taupe color, by the way, is not offered in the States. The grayish color is instead. Trust me, I’ve looked. Your assessment of both handbags was extremely thorough. Thanks.

The majority of my bags are RM from 2006 to 2010, they were amazing and still look and feel great. I haven't tried any of her newer styles but love this one. I don't like TB mostly because of the branding on it.

But the Tory Burch is sooooo cute! I don't own Tory Burch bags, but credit where its due - The Minkoff bags feel really great and seemed to be well constructed. I've only gotten pre-loved, but any bag that looks pretty good after being used several years, is a decently well made bag in my opinion.

Had to see what the fuss was all about so I got the edie. I went with a nylon bag so I'm not sure how it compares to its leather counterparts, but the olive / army green sold me, as did the sale price.

Thank you so much for doing this comparison. I just recently started looking at the RM bags and I also just recently bought my 1st Tory Burch Kira's and it seems to me that they don't have soft lambskin leather at all. In fact I bought 3 of them. One that is the older model that you have with the round magnetic closure in Devon Sand and then the 2 with the new square magnets in black and cream and they feel like nothing close to a soft lambskin that people have described as being similar to Chanels. It's kinda disconcerting. It's also odd because some people have reviewed these bags and said they are super soft, so I'm wondering if TB changed the leather she uses?? I read on purse forum somewhere that she was going to switch over to Nappa leather but I thought it said that was only on the black ones. Can anyone else also chime in here? I've never thought to buy Chanel because it never excited me before and they're hugely expensive. Tori Burch only recently was something I wanted because of the simplicity, elegance and classy style in the Kiras without the cost, which I was looking for, but I also wanted that soft luxurious lamb skin and it just seems like the Tory Burch bags don't really have it anymore??. :(

I loved the Rebecca Minkoff one, too! I have the Julien backpack style by her and find myself picking that up over my luxury bags, especially these days when I need something handsfree and with lots of pockets. I wish more luxury brands would consider adding that back slip pocket. I recently purchased the YSL Loulou Puffer, and while I'm completely in love with it, that style is begging for the back pocket!

I like the Tory Burch design wise. I like minkoff bags as well I think they are a great value I don't like the clasp on the rebecca M....I don't like the size its too big. for the design. the leather is not playing on camera it just looks wrinkly

I like the Tory bag here more. The rebekah M quilting just doesn’t look as seamless. As far as the YSL LouLou, that bag triumphs both! It has way more structure, puffier quilting, better details.

I’m still of the mind , the Coach 29 crossbody ( name ? ) has the softest wrinkly leather. I love touching it. And the suede inside is gorgeous. Btw , what bag are you carrying these days ? I got inspired with your video and bought 2 bags but returned one and had a very bad time with the customer service. They receive the return but they did not return my money at all even after letting them know multiple times. I would suggest everyone to not buy from Rebecca Minkoff.
