Love this type of glam! Perfect 🤩. Jennie even i struggle with my skin and I tell you what, it has a lot to do with what we eat so bear that in mind! Sometimes we use all these fancy skin care and they don’t really do much. I think a routine works and of course rest, work out, eat well, drink water and take vitamins! Try not to stress too much. We aren’t meant to be perfect! Love you ❤

New subscriber here, I know this video was a bit ago, but I 100% felt you when you shared you were unhappy with your skin. I shot a commercial in July and was in tears doing my makeup because I was not happy with my skin. La Roche Posay and Juice Cleanses saved my skin. It's September now I made an update video in my skin diary and I said "I am happy with my skin"; I didn't know when I would ever be able to say that. Thank you for the tips! I have super oily skin and want to branch into the make-up industry.

Hi Jennie, love your makeup. So glad we’re getting makeup content again 🙏🏾❤️ Just some tips on skincare as I’m currently dealing with the same issues. I am iron deficient and suffer with adult acne. I use over the counter iron tablets and have an iron rich diet, lots of greens, and cut down on sugar and dairy and processed foods. Regarding skincare for acne once/twice a week I use an acne facial wash one with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid and other days use a gentle cream cleanser. Then use a hydrating toner, or BHA toner. I follow up with a serum one of the three either, snail mucin, Ascorbic acid with Alpha arbutin, or Mandelic acid. Once a week I use a retinol. Everyday I use a sunscreen, and also have an active lifestyle going gym 3/4 times a week. Of course this routine may not work for everyone, but I feel if your skin concerns aren’t as severe, definitely take matters into your own hands. Get the right products and focus on your overall health. Give it 3-6months and see how you get on. Much love x

Hi Jennie In regards to your “dull” skin, your anemia definitely may have an affect on your skin due to lack of oxygen in your blood. So in addition to correcting the anemia, you can also try adding supplements like glutathione (specifically IM or IV) to brighten your complexion and add an inner glow ❤

Hey Jennie, I have severe iron deficiency (my blood level is a 5 then it dropped to 2) I agree, I’ve been holding off on makeup as well. My skin tone looks beautiful ( no blemishes 🤣) and a little dull BUT MY BODY IS DARKER 🤣🤣🤣💀 I also wish my skin was flawless. I have dark lids and circles Plus Werewolf Brows The only thing work is Grease ( moisturizer)…. Skincare Oils, and things that have luminously in the ( I have dry skin tho ) 12:12 snatched 👑😜🔥🔥 This right here be having and what I said be having people thinking “ you don’t have low blood” 19:33 made it to the end. Paula's choice 2% bha liquid paired with Paula's choice 5% niacinamide body serum work wonders together to even out the skin and smooth texture. The niacinamide serum is designed for the body but it can be used on face or anywhere on the body. After cleansing face apply 2% bha liquid and wait for it to dry then apply the 5% niacinamide serum. Be consistent. You will see a difference by week 3.

For your skin it’s probably hormonal . Happened to me for years until I got my hormones , vitamin d, K and iron checked . All were low . You’re beautiful 😍.

Great video.. for one thing is as you get older your skin changes. I having oily skin in my t- zone area also. Ive tried alot cant figure it out, so i just keep powder with me. 😀 Your skin is really nice. Don't do too much to it. 😊😇

You are so gorgeous honey. When it comes to skin….routines are essential. Toner (glycolic acid or salicylic), niacinamide (La Roche Posay), vitamin C (Sunday Riley), etc then moisturiser with spf50(CeraVe). At night….retinol (some can be used in the day under spf). Then you never need to visit a dermatologist. I cleanse every night and double cleanse when I have makeup on and I’m good. I use a paste exfoliant (Murad)twice a month and chemical peel once a year. I’m not a professional but I think it’s working. I’m 38.🤷🏾‍♀️

Yes I’m anemic and when my iron is low my skin is pale! There is a herbalist when I live that has a anemia formula that works for me and I also use iron gummies with other supplements at times

Your skin is not that. You skin look the same as you looked in 2010 but with better skin. I personally think your skin is ok. It shouldn't be hard to clear it. If you are looking to see a derm make sure you go to a derm that specialise in black skin. Dr Vamita Rattan specialises in black amd Asian skin. She also has her own skin care line to help clear any skin problems. What are you using on your skin now? Maybe do a skin care routine?? Let's see what you are using
