Detailed Look and Wiring of Schindler MT Elevator Buttons 

I love elevators with MT fixtures and Schindler

I would love love to get those

Wish #Schindler still makes MT fixtures for at least their 7000 but with M-Line lantern chimes and indicators as part of bringing M-Line fixtures to North America. Also, wish they also make a North American version of the FI-MXB (and FI-MXV if feasible) with inspiration from their MT fixtures. This include using the FI-MXB arrow buttons for hall stations while car station buttons inspired from MT and FI-MXB.

These are the latest equivalent fixtures to be wired up; Including Schindler HT, ThyssenKrupp/DOVER Impulse, OTIS Series 1 & MontgomeryKONE Vector and Series 220.

What’s interesting is the the Schindler button almost looks like a Dover impulse button

Out of curiosity why do M Series fixtures and MT look similar? I mean they both have the red light bar at the top.

Familiar with that SA logo. That microswitch is in fact made by Saia Burgess from Switzerland, the same company that made the microswitch (but different model) for the Schindler S-Series fixtures in Europe. The three light bulbs appears to be the same type as the ones used in Schindler S-Series.

Before y'all came here last year I had never pressed an MT button before. Good luck figuring out how to wire the FIGS button xD

so which pins on the keyswitch did you end up connecting up to make it light up for both on and bypass?

When I see those buttons as door buttons I think it’s a waste that their is unused light in them!
