I work for the post office and I’m gonna tell you how it is . Plain and simple if you want to die early and have your life taken away by being there all day then go there and work . Pay is ok but it’s not worth it . If you value your time with family , kids , and want to have a life then DO NOT work for the post office

I was a supervisor 8 - 10 ish years ago, I worked tour 1 APBS, I was approached by my manager, I found myself to be the advocate for the postal service, there was a rural carrier that was hit in a horrific accident and was in the hospital until the family, could be contracted... I sat there all night 😢. The carrier survived, but I didn't think twice to sit there all night to show (my) support for a fellow employee no matter where you work. Carriers are far from what I did, I did whatever I needed to do to support my fellow employee no matter where they worked and got no thanks for what I did.

I'm putting my resignation today, yesterday I just had enough of the job. Was hired in 2020 as an RCA, its been about a year I get no personal time off, only about a day but that one day doesn't feel like an off day just feel like a preparation for the next day. Done with the office, I'm messed up mentally

My cousin got hired 2 years ago She said working in the city at first they work u a lot of hrs she said the first year she was working from 5am to 10 pm no days off she said she cry a few times cause it was a lot now she’s a regular she only works 40hrd every other weekend off she loves her job she happy with her pay 💰

Soooo crazy how many people don’t have house numbers on their house. They’re working me 8-10 days before I get a break I can’t lol. It’s okay to work for the post office if you don’t have any obligations outside of work.

I've been with them for two years as a Mail Handler. I started off as a MHA then was converted after about a year. I loss my previous government job due to unfortunate incident so I was trying to stay with the government. However, the USPS is not run like other government agencies so I found myself working overnight, weekends and holidays. It's not what I expected so I'm still trying to navigate through, for now. I commend you on your future opportunities.

I also just quit Usps my office was so toxic and full of negativity especially from management. The more you try the worse they get. I feel so much better

Yeah, im an RCA and the usps is so not worth it. The only entry level jobs worth it is custodian which is hard to find, mechanic also hard to find, and maintenence, they love their jobs so its very rare they are available. May 6th the rural routes are goijg down in pay and hours. Good bye im out

I’ve been working for them on and off mainly on since 2018 . I moved to Texas and now working for them again . I keep calling in that’s how I know it’s time to go . Currently looking for remote jobs cause I’m tired.

Your boss really said "you're ruining my weekend?" I would have popped off on that lady. I'm glad I'm not longer with the post office because I dealt with shit similar to your experience. After 12 hours (which by the way is allowed by the NALC contract) I would drop any other packages off and the supervisor would catch an attitude with me.

Omg you signed up for a rural carrier position, what did you think you would encounter??? Rural =country ...so why would you take a rural position if you have a problem with encountering chickens, deers, dogs, etc,?? And the fact you had your husband follow you? Had no regard for times and deadlines to meet, no regards for rules and regulations of the Postal System.....this was emberrassing to watch from a 40 year old perspective,...your generation is something else🙄!

Some areas are more “rural” than others lady. i’m in a rural area now and i don’t see animals on a daily . i guess you live in an area that has farm animals running around everywhere, good for you. and thank you for taking the time out of your day to watch my video on my channel and then comment in my comment section. love that lol God bless booskie.

Its a career not a part time job.... if thats what you were told u were duped... until you become carrier you aren't guaranteed shit...they tell you all this in orientation...no offense but im sixk of people knocking the usps...you know what you signed up for, stop frontin...

idk where you’re from exactly but i was not told a lot of stuff . This job was all over the place. You may have had a great area but mine was not great. I wouldn’t sign up if i was told all of this.

They never ever say part time..... i have only had one week with just under 40 hrs... all the rest have been 50 hr weeks and more

Ok the pay crap is extra weird!! Hours and shifts are never a guarantee. Why would you put this on youtube? Are you saying you can't see at night with headlights on? Where were you delivering packages (the south)? Why do you sound so lost, alone, and afraid? Why the heck are you so scare of the dark? Maybe, you should be a stay-at-home Mom and remain under the protection of your husband. Live in a bubble..bye girl. You too damn scary....damn scared of your own damn shadow and you got kids...WTF are you gonna teach them? When the job becomes hard and they ask you to do things in the dark....crumble and quit. Blah. Just no ma'am to all of it.

It’s crazy how a person that don’t even know you can say some stupid sh*t. One, towanda Morrison, you are what it looks like to be an older black woman. It’s crazy that instead of trying to uplift a young black woman instead of trying to come for her. She must have hit a fuse in you about this little job that you have. You probably work in the city somewhere where it’s lit up like crazy. And then you came for her mother hood. You towanda are worst then trash talking crazy like that. She is more then a great mother and teaches her kids to live right and not talk sh*t about other people. I’m pretty sure it’s a lot of things that your small narrow mind is scared of. @Lacey Ryan THANK YOUUU ! I experienced the same thing and i don’t understand why people think it’s nothing serious 😫. I have anxiety and asthma , being in the dark of an unknown area scares me as a woman that was driving alone.
