Wow! brings back lots of memories when I used to operate a Braun service/sales depot. It not just a nice filter... It's a GOLD filter to keep the flavor!

Thorough review. Covers the bases for this highest rated (Consumer's Reports) coffee maker. I bought mine new in the 90's for $20 at Sav-On. It is still working!

To me, this is what a home drip coffee maker should look like. Modern ones try to look like something you'd see in a coffee shop.

Good video. I’ve used Aromasters since 1989. I’ve had them in white, black, and the 12-cup model in very rare red color. Excellent minimalist coffee makers. The appearance suggests casual elegance. ~ Before 2001 they were made in Germany; after made in Mexico. The German ones have much sturdier plastic parts and housing.

We all had these for years. Loved that minimalist design period. It's German and pronounced Brown, not Brawn, though most in the U.S. pronounced it Brawn for decades.

@@JustADad well I paid £3 for it so even more of a steal. I mainly use my espresso machine coupled with my Ceado grinder. But generally if it's hot wet and nice tasting I'm in. I am a fan of African beans.

To use the pause function, why can’t we take the jar out for too long ? Will the coffee maker start leaking? I thought the pause function is for that very purpose and it wouldn’t matter how long it took to place the jar back. 7:25

I want to know that if my coffee gets cool can i warm it again or do i have to make the whole coffee again

Yeah most coffee makers will not let you turn just the warming plate on. This one will not let you turn the warming plate on so you would have to make a new pot. You might like a coffee maker with a thermal Carafe. they can keep coffee for hours.
