First! Love you tutorial! Second- curious as to how I will get the fold line to sit flush with the pattern all the way down to the hip line since it goes diagonal in two different directions. Am I missing something?

Thank you so much 😊 When you say fold line, are you talking about the Centre front? I need to know so as to answer correctly. Thanks for watching.
@runningformylifeful
@runningformylifeful Год назад
@@uwebyanuri yes, in my case the center front would be the fold.
@uwebyanuri

@@runningformylifeful ok. If your Centre front will be on fold, you can decide to either move the 1cm waist reduction for the centre to the waist dart or leave the 1cm to add to the ease on your pattern. If the project you are working on requires you to project the contours on the body, then I'll suggest you move the 1cm to the waist dart. But if it doesn't require too much contours, then just leave it as it is.

Hi Uwe. Thank you so much for sharing yiur knowledge. Please i have a question. I knownthis nathalie bray patyern, but usually i do have problem with my lower part of my pattern. Whenever i want to make a dress from the pattern, the upper part is always perfect. But for the lower part, the front is always woder than the back. So i am sensing that this could be as a result of the hip÷4 +3 for the front pattern. So i don't know if you have similar experince. And if you don't have such experience, how do you do it that it comes out perfectly? Kindky share a knowledge on this please. Thank you

I usually don't use Natalie bray for the lower part of my dresses. I created mine because the Natalie bray didn't give me what I wanted down. You can do same.
