Mine for some reason has SO MUCH THROW to the point where I tried banking and I ended up doing some sort of snap roll thing. Good thing this has SAFE! 😎
That dent was from my other girlfriend when she assembled the wing. Her Nails are Long!!Looks like her thumb. I like the tubing on the LG to beef it up a bit. ALSO, interesting a Timber gets Flaps but not this one.
@@GBLynden +1 agree - interesting - but - hard to really see - looks like wingtips have just a little bit of negative AoA - this could be enough - and there is a healthy amount of wing area - so I imagine it could float easily ..
I'm going to wait and hope they design a little bit bigger of a jet. Maybe twin 64mm edf's would be fine. My jaw dropped a little when I looked at the price of this one. Anyway, good presentation and content as usual. Good luck maidening this bird beauty! 👍👊
Thanks Nick! I would have preferred one a little bigger myself. HH themselves said that if this one sells well, they will make a larger one. I hope my influence helps make that happen 😎
Advice to Horizon: Silly (but potentially cheap) illumination of fuselage interior (aft section). Better invest a few thoughts and illuminate the vertical stabilizer surfaces from the wing tips. Is not that complicated and would significantly enhance realism !
That would be pretty cool! I do have to give them credit for make one if the, if not the best lit UMX planes ever made with this. I still need to fly it, so I can’t say much more than I said about it in the video lol
Hey bud help me out I just bought the apprentice sts 1.5 trainer from horizon hobby and got the remote and everything will the remote that came with it bind with is jet? if you know I would appreciate it
If you just bought the apprentice, I would strongly caution you against trying to fly this plane. You would need to master that plane and then master one in-between before you should consider flying this one. EDF Jets are one of the most difficult platforms to fly.
@@GBLynden thanks i appreciate you telling me. I wasnt going to fly it until i got the apprentice down..but i really was wondering is the radio trans good with it?
As long as it holds up, I will be flying it a lot. The problem with recording video at sunset is the camera fuzzes are horrid. John’s schedule and the weather will determine when we record the videos though lol
Great question Alex! I still have it and like to fly it the most on warm evenings when the sun it starting to set. The lights are one of its best features. With that being said. I enjoy flying the A-10 more. I hope that helps! 😎
@@GBLynden Thanks for your reply. I have the A-10 too, but I'm thinking of picking up a used citation. Is there much of a difference? I wish HH had more UMX jets still available. I'm hoping with the new 40mm tomcat they release some 40mm UMX jets like a Viper or F16.
Hi there, this would be a very bad choice to learn to fly models on. Check out my videos with the Arrows Pioneer to develop the skills you need to fly something like this 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden hello team, maybe I did not explain well. I've been flying planes, parkflyers, UMX and I really liked the model. But the question is if this plane is good to start with jets or is it too much to start me. Thankx a lot
This is NOT a plane for beginners. Jets are hard to fly. Do yourself a favor and get a trainer so you can enjoy this wonderful RC Plane. I want to be clear that this jet is wonderful and it flies great, but someone without flying experience will have a bad experience when they crash it 20 seconds into the flight. I wish you luck 👊🏻💥👊🏻
It really is and more fans always makes them sound better. I am not sure it is possible to add more fans at this size given that material though. We shall see!
This is exactly why i'm not a big fan of foam airplanes dents, are decals have bubbles in them are their crooked idk me i have a veeeeeeery critical eye i can see now the stickers close to the engine cowls wrinkled my opinion thats verry disapointing to spend all that $ and it has all those defects
