Today, we're taking you on a journey through the intricate process of detailing a McLaren 570 GT.
This particular car is an MSO Black Collection which cost around £180,000 when it was new. It's certainly one of the rarest cars we have worked on
Join us as we give this black beauty a makeover with paint correction and the application of Paint Protection Film (PPF), a corrective machine polish to remove 95% + of the swirl marks and scratches, and finish with a ceramic coating. It certainly needed it as the car had many sanding marks and swirls

As we had a fully booked workshop schedule, this job was squeezed in, so timescales were tight. We even had to get Nathan from Protecht PPF in to help get everything done in time!
Nathan actually trained us so was really nice to have him back in again.
We film and edit all of our content, which when detailing can add significant overhead to the process. I did not have the time unfortunately to make this into a "full length" detailing episode. Doing so adds approximately 5-10 hours to a job such as getting the angles and shots, any reshoots, pieces to camera etc just slow the process down.
So I have taken a looser format with the recording here, capturing some bits of interest along the way.
The next car we have some extra time on that we apply PPF to, I will do a longer more in depth video specific to the application of PPF
