I didn’t realize I’m not the only one who feels like this song saved them 😧 I hope he knows how many lives he’s saved.

A few weeks ago I read a comment in a another video of Details in the Fabric that said "This song just stop me of killing my self today" or something like that, I just hope that person found peace with his mind and troubles and made out of that hole... I have been battling depression. The thought of suicide is so inviting. Then I heard this song. I have been crying for I do not want to commit suicide, but my mind is telling me that I have to do it. It is like monsters haunts me everytime and I will see myself on the brink of oblivion. But this song. This man. His calming nature is fine but his songs made me stop thinking about my demise for a shortwhile, this song made me think that there is someone out there that somehow understands me. Thank you Mr. A-Z, words would not suffice on how much you have saved me.

Jason songs cured me from being depressed, and now I'm not afraid to be alone, get my guitar and then sing his songs

Today I made the biggest decision I have had yet to make, and I broke my best friends heart in order to go forth. This reminded me that it was the right decision to make. I saved the seas with the salt of my tears, flooded my home a time or two over the years, all alone and sometimes too often I stumble across or seek out this song, is it therapy or self destruction, so long as its something not nothing, im still holding on and going my own way... when its unbearable, this song carries me through the day. I finally watched this song performed live last Saturday, 10 years after listening to it for the first time. Some Indonesian including me flew to Singapore to watch Jason. This is the second time for me after his concert last October. Although both concerts are in the same tour (means the concepts are same and repertoires are similar) but they paid all his concerts I've missed during the decade. Everytime I encounter words similar to "hold your own, know your name, go your own way," I remember to this song. It roots deep in my heart and I use it as a mantra, knowing that everything will be fine.

Fell in love immediately, attended a few concerts, one was a fundraiser for Life Goes on, which I had the opportunity to meet Jason at an event TWSA which stands for They will surf again, I volunteered for 8 years and loved the people I met. I was able to tell Jason my experience an how this song spoke to me in various ways. He is a kind sol and extremely talented and I will forever be a Fan!
