This is the kind of person the US needs in law enforcement, politics, science, education, and any other part of society. She is the type of person to advance human knowledge. Decency, drive, love of knowledge, kindness, intelligence, expertise, and leadership where she would delegate jobs to the people she leads etc are all terrific positive characteristics. @@abelis644 Brandons law is something enacted in most of the United States in 2008 or 2009 that requires law enforcement to investigate a missing persons case from the moment they're reported missing, no matter their age. This woman repeatedly says that they couldn't investigate until 24 hours had passed, which is patently wrong and is wasting the most vital part of a search for a missing person. After 48 hours there's something like a 70% chance you're looking for a body. If you spend 24 hours going "well, he's 18 or older so I kinda have my hands tied" you're giving up your best chance. She may be a fantastic detective but she doesn't know basic facets of American law and is tying her own hands with red tape that hasn't been valid in almost a decade.

If you had the privileges that beauty gives, you would enjoy the perks too. I know I did. But I did not see her do anything untoward. Everything she does is beautiful and her strength and employment success makes her even more beautiful, in my opinion.

Yes, she is looking either to the left, to the evidence presented, the questioner straight ahead, and/or the jury unseen at the right.

That would likely be very frustrating for her. New folks help process the paperwork for some time and don't usually see a lot of field activity. She'll promote up the food chain at her agency or go to a state agency like the GBI, which is top notch and very active.

You can tell the people new to court cases. It’s common practice especially for experts or investigators to address the jury as they are deciding the case.

Well she was just answering the questions that he was asking of her. Plus its to establish her expertise and credibility to her being involved in this case.

This is protocol for introducing professional witnesses. It’s for the jury to get to know how much they know about the topics and the Court reporter needs to type these specifics the witness information into the typed records of the trial.
