The wildcat at 15:40 was bodied and painted by George’s collision in Eastpointe. Me and my brother did the work and I’m very proud to see her looking so good under all those lights! Not sure who handled the drivetrain or upholstery but Slims on 10 and gratiot had a major role in the drivetrain. Stop by!
@@mightysrk whats up local family! i agree looks good glad to here the work was done near by I have a 65 impala i built in my garage. its not perfect but i wanted to do it myself even painted it in the garage lol.
@@AllThingsCool Man, thank you so much. At 81 I still like an overview of the cars to come. I'd be the first to test drive I could. The Salty Flats are calling me.
The autorama is the best of the best. I had the chance to go 6years ago. It was amazing. Everyine watching should make the trip one year. Thanks for the video!
@@AllThingsCool yea i have a custom upholstery shop here in maryland. Did a car back in 2018 and he invited us out. So glade i went. He ended up getting a great 8 award. Crazy how dead detroit is around that area also. Thanks again.
Of course the very first hotrod,, INCREDIBLE! Then @6:00,, the "BuzzSaw" Van,, 9:06 '63 or 64 Riviera,, 10:38 the '59 Imperial,, so many cool cars. WOW! How would you like the responsibility of judging?!! No thank YOU! Thanks so much for this amazing, well done video.
The upholstery guy on the Mercury convertible should come forward and admit his guilt. Congrats Dave Kindig, and Henry Jenner is an excellent achivement. Thanks to the guys doing the 70 W43 442 nice compilation to complete. You wanted commentary, you got it
Beautiful paint on those cars. Retro mods stay with a manufacturer's appearance for the wheels. And that goes for Black wheels... why? 22:52 The mile long Merc is going 90mph in park. 25:35 the Zephyr sweet custom and in the next view a 66 Caprice with a 65 front clip. The 6 door Ford Excab very nice. The craftsmanship is impressive on so many cars there.
They ruined it with those ridiculous rubber band tires and monster wheels. I had a 66 XL Galaxie for 20 years, heritage burgundy, Cragars, drag radials black interior. Warmed over 390 to 375 hp nice driver and turned 13.79 best at text and tune and nostalgia drags. Not real fast but was only 375 HP and I drove it most of the time. Never would I put those ridiculous wheels on it
The Black Buicks were amazing. The '63 Wildcat and the 64 Riviera. My Dad had a white '63 Wildcat with a red interior when I was a teen. I don't care for the extreme mods and giant wheels and tires.
...randomly recomended and watched; from Nordic point of view this was totally awsome. We have, of course, similar as "American car show" and multple local shows also at several towns around Finland and have to say...close to that ;-)
That Ford in the back ground at 25:58 looks like it might be the Ford Cougar from 1964 that never made it to market, if so that's a very very rare car! What a beautful bunch of cars - Thank You
Ухх,какие красивые и настоящие машины,выглядят на много лучше современных,это настоящая находка и раритет,молодцы ребята,что показали нам всю эту красоту,вот такие машины должны ездить по всей планете👍❤
Thanks for sharing, what an experience. Faves: 4:30, 13:17. Not a huge fan of "big modern chrome rims on classic super low riders" style myself, I prefer the ones with wheels closer to the original.
Chevy Impala 1964 white nice!!!!!!!!! They added to the car but it's really nice. Very expensive I'm guessing 1 million dollars with custom paint parts
I strive to have my 67 Mustang be at the level of some of these cars. But according to your video, mine would fit in more on the upper level of the car show. I can't hang with the big boys on the lower level. Lol. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
@@AllThingsCool if I had thier money, I would have more fun also. Lol. But I'm just a country, farm boy who has to work on my cars with a budget. Like 98% of the rest of the country. It would be nice to be able to dump 100 grand into a car. But.......I do the best with what I got.
@AllThingsCool yep. I'm a Ford guy. Been restoring Mustangs for 40+ years. I still lay in gravel driveways on a piece of cardboard to take out transmissions. And use a the barn beams to take out motors. So, I'm with ya. I prefer a little sweat equity rather than spending tons of money on fancy equipment.
@33:59 and 34:23,,, Do all of you watching realize how few of those 1957 / 58 Pontiac and 1960 Pontiac's are left on the planet? Those beauty's are coming to be rare as hens teeth.
I've done videos like this the problem is people keep walking in front of you the whole time. I'm sure you had the same issue that's what editing software if for lol.
