I think the reason they don't move is because that would be a lot of people to render moving and it might slow down the game and cause glitches. That's my best guess because the quality of the cutscene goes down.
Does anyone notice the amount of barriers Connor has to destroy as opposed to Markus and Kara, he has to destroy 3, while Markus and Kara have to destroy 1.
because connor is... like the most advanced android cyber life has ever built he's more sophisticated than every android before him for him to become deviant is *MUCH* more difficult... this is kinda of the reason why maybe marcus couldn't free Connor as easily as the other androids
He was probably prone to deviancy in the first place - partially intended, perhaps, but also just because he was an especially sophisticated model designed to interact positively with other police officers and also interact with suspects. Limited, 'fake' minor emotional reactions and facial expressions are probably just to help other people be comfortable with them instead of having the dead faced stare of a doll or a corpse. It's probably this fake-emotion code that is infected with the deviant 'virus'.
According to Amanda in the Connor Leader ending, he was made to become deviant and was told to neutralize the deviant leader in order to become the leader of the deviants for a Cyberlife Android Revolution
@@roebear Yeah, but I don't understand why Amanda and Cyberlife would take that risk, because their is a chance that Connor remains a machine, may I just note that even if Connor becomes a deviant, he is designed to be lawful, so their is a chance he still wouldn't side with the deviants as what they are doing is unlawful. Like the Traci's for example, they were deviants, and they may have wanted to be free, but they didn't join the revolution. The theory that Cyberlife and Amanda had about Connor was really flawed, because Connor would've had to have become a deviant as well as become the leader of the revolution, and that is unlikely considering that he can only become leader if Markus and North die.
@@Yams-Hams7734 Actually he is a deviant since the beginning, even machine connor is a deviant, he just believes he is not, but you can see how he reacts after finding out in the end that he will be replaced by RK900
It proves the point that even as a machine they're still alive and can have actual emotional responses like fear. Honestly the only good that ending brings
I know right!? I was hating on this Connor and then I saw this ending. I was like GOD DAMMIT DON'T MAKE ME FEEL BAD FOR YOU TOO. (already too late ;-;)
@@barbaelijahmiguelt.6115 Amanda is a Main Antagonist which she could control Connor, she can make Connor a Deviant or kill a kind hearted android Markus. Some ending will involve betraying, distrusting Amanda
Ootani Michuyo I ship Conner and Hank as son and father and I was screaming that they should hug and when they finally hugged I was like "ooooooh yes!!!!!!!" xdd
You won't get hate if you don't express all of your emotions because you're so hyped,. Seriously, what's with people like: Fangirl: "Don't hate me for this..." Me: THEN DON'T DO/OR SAY IT.
It could be that in that moment, Markus just needed to not get shot by Connor and the best way to ensure that is to convert him into a deviant. Btw sorry for a year late reply, I couldn't help myself :)
If Markus really did feel “Alive” and if he was for his people, why tf did he not feel empathy when he didn’t trust Connor, and Shot him in the first ending?
I think it’s possible that after the freighter got raided (which he was tipped off about by Connor in the first place) that Connor probably told him about Amanda. Told him how Cyberlife has a software built into him that they can take him to at anytime. In the scenario where Connor is killed by Markus I don’t think it’s necessarily that he didn’t trust him, just knowing that he could still be controlled even as a deviant that could make him a potential threat, especially seeing Amanda/Cyberlife aren’t exactly happy about Connor’s betrayal.
SAd endings sad. If ya'll want to see the 'perfect' peaceful ending where most of the main cast survive (Kara and alice are happy, markus and north are happy and deviant connor is a good boi with hank) then go watch Jacksepticeyes playthrough because it is great
Where Hank kills real Connor, he could shoot the fake one in the head, and figure out how to take the damaged parts out and put the fake parts into real Connor... Technically, they are machines, and unless their memory isn't compromised, they can just have the broken parts replaced.
It's been repeatedly established that Hank is far from the most tech savvy guy in the world. He himself has said that he can barely change the settings on his own phone.
Well we see the real connor slowly becoming deviant throughout the story so maybe his model is something that has no "either completely un deviant or deviant"
Ybrob Hank killing the fake Connor isn't really an ending, since the story progresses afterwards. Same if Hank dies. The one where Connor stands in the corwd is if he doesn't become deviant, I believe.
Clorox Hammer ok you need to shut up no need to treat me like an idiot I know that this spoils the end of the game have you ever heard of being sarcastic?
Wait a second, how did Connor just get shot like that in the elevator? I've never seen that ending! Amanda hijacked him so he couldn't do anything. Wow. Scary.
The final ending is so painful. Connor tries to give a speech, but in that moment amanda tries to take back control. Either he lets her and the revolution dies where connor stands, or he commits suicide on stage, for all the deviants to see. What kind of message are they suppose to get out that? Both endings are equally bad. But in the suicide ending, atleast there's a faint hope the revolution will continue.
Connor's suicide ending is pretty dark... I would rather have at leaast Markus, or North alive, so Connor doesn't commit suicide... Anything, BUT that!
I like the ending where Connor becomes deviant but instead directly at the end. Like when he’s standing in the crowd and has the choice to shoot Markus or not. I’m not sure if Connor goes and hugs Hank in that ending but I like how after listening to Markus make his speech he stops, thinks for a second, and then technically becomes deviant after resisting and not shooting. Honestly is great. Though I much prefer where he becomes deviant on the boat.
Ok, here are some huge questions that I have 1: What happens if Connor doesn't commit suicide and doesn't obey (aka choose nothing)? Is there any way that he can remain a living leader? 2: Is there any other chance that Connor can become deviant besides the Jericho scene with Markus? (Cuz I felt that Connor deserved a more meaningful conversion) 3: Is there any way to save Alice and Kara from the camp with help from Markus without being too violent or without creating a negative public opinion?
1. Choosing nothing has the same outcome as giving up. 2. Nope, unfortunately. 3. You can use Ralph to escape the camp, I don't know any other way to escape the camp except using Ralph.
The only one I know is 3, there's a way you can stay still once getting knocked down at Jericho and Alice and Kara won't go to the camp at all. They'll head to the bus station and there you can also chose to save Luther or not. Watch Jacksepticeye's 9th episode of his series, he gets the best possible ending (I believe)
Kay The Nerd Yeah, I watched Jack's gameplay too and his ending has been the best one that I could find so far, but I was just curious if there were any other way to get out of the camp without sacrificing someone! But thanks anyway! I'm obsessed with this game ever since Jack started playing it! :)
It's the no movement that sorta ruins this scene for me tbh lol. Makes it cringey and awkward. Yeah I get it, it would most probably fuck up everyone's PC or PS4 or whatever if all the androids did move, but still...😐😬 It also actually, ironically?, makes you think you did the wrong option by freeing them because it shows how machine they are by just standing there lol.😂😅
What happens if the mixture of situation at 6:23 happens (androids awaken but Connor dies) plus ending at 14:25 happens where all of Jericho (Markus & North dies) is gone, basically there's no leader, which ending you'll get from this outcome?
Fun facts about the Connor becoming leader path: Connor was originally suppose to give the speech Markus would give in the other endings but was cut for an unknown reason (there audio for it) If Connor become leader and doesn’t kill himself cyber life will use him and the deviant army to take over the world
I know the 'popular' choice is to have Connor go deviant but to be honest I find his machine version so MUCH more interesting. When Connors choose to stay as a machine he edges on the border of being good and evil (not to mention also a badass). It adds complexity to his character, is he the antagonist? or just a machine running it's program. And you gotta admire the guy's determination and willingness to die. To me this is far more intriguing than just another android discovering they have 'feelings' and going deviant. Plus machine Connor's route in Markus' revolution is amazing.
I don't like Connor's sudden change at Jericho. I like the idea of him becoming deviant, but I think he has to make a lot of choices and witness the consequences before coming to terms with the emotional impact they might start to have on him. My personal wish for Connor's arch is for him to turn deviant at the end of his battle with Markus at the finale of the game, and not a moment before. There has to be an emotional turn for him, other than Markus talking AT him and convincing him to become deviant. I think Connor has to be faced with a hard decision, like having to shoot someone that reminds him of the android in the "Kamski Test", or be witness to something (conditions in the camp perhaps) that ultimately forces him to re-evaluate his purpose as a machine. That would be the better story. But...alas.
barbaro267 thats actually possible even if you have Connor remain a machine, he'll still have the option to 'spare' Markus at the very end of the game, this can happen 2 ways. 1. Have Markus do the demostration and win the public over, at the end when he is making his speech to the androids, machine Connor will be in the crowd ready to assassinate him, you'll have the choice to either shoot or spare. 2. If you fail the revolution with Markus, then Connor will find him in the abandoned building and can once again choose to shoot or spare. By sparing Markus, Connor's status with Amanda will drop down to betrayal, a clear indication he's gone deviant right the end.
I wish there were more endings for Connor. Him becoming the deviant leader of the androids, him becoming a deviant but still continuing and accomplishing on his mission and not being destroyed...
Mayo the fake Connor tried to stop the real Connor from turning the androids deviant. The real Connor did turn them deviant. So the fake Connor failed his mission
They woke them up to use them as an army in the revolution. Them waking up means that there’s thousands of deviant androids roaming detroit, and fake connors mission was to prevent that from happening
Everytime I play detroit become human I always have the same ending because I just cant help to see them all good and alive so when I play I always do the peaceful stuff with marcus like peaceful protesting and 100% peaceful thing when they get the androids out of the store, and with connor I make him have emotions and choose the options that makes his instability go up and with Hank, and with Kara I just chose the good things for Alice so Kara luther and alice got across the border without hurting nobody but they did steal the tickets but she talked to the cop and told him plz and he let her go across the border , and so everyone I wanted to live lived Marcus lived Conner, kara, alice, simon, josh, luther, north and I saved every android eveychance I got and connor hasn't died once for me, and connor and hank became bestfriend the end it's the only ending I'll take
imo I like it better when Connor becomes a deviant wo the help of other androids persuading him to become one, but then those cutscenes usually lead to more tragic endings sooo
Am I the only one who thinks even if the androids lose the humans wouldn’t have slaves to do their dirty work so it’s it’s always a win lfor she situation
NightCrusher76 In the ending where all the androids die you get a clip of Amanda saying they’re gonna start the production of androids again but with more restrictions. More robo suffering. More angry humans. Just all around misery.
Captain Clemont there is an actor playing him and it’s extremely accurate to what he looks like so we can say he’s fit cause he is The actors name is Bryan Dechart if you didn’t know
What if some of those would have started singing ''Wake up, grab the brush and put a little make up'' .. and so on from System of a Down - Chop Suey! :DD
Not what I was looking for I don’t think: has anybody done an ending where Markus is dead on the freedom march, North takes over and Connor is deviant? If so what’s the results? My guess is that North fails, is pushed back into the cyberlife store and then shot before Connor can intervene and help with the androids from the tower, therefore making him the lone leader resulting in giving up or suicide?
There is one last ending this is connor stays a machine markus is succesful in his demonstration and connor spares markus or kill him by deciding to shoot him or by failling to resist to amanda
@@devinrouse2811 the one when Connor ends up being controlled by Amanda and kills Markus I think they meant 5.2, in which he defeats her and doesn't kill Markus But who knows, maybe they do like 5.1
