Detroit: Become Human - Kara Perfect Ending // Luther, Alice and Kara Free in Canada

As noble as Markus was in sticking with a peaceful protest right until the very end that Canadian immigration officer is the real MVP.

Luther is such a good father figure to Alice but he’s so underrated, honestly he’s one of my fave characters in the game

I don't see what the problem is with stealing their tickets. They are humans so its not as if they are getting executed in the street.

in my point of view, the three main androids represent a classic but strong type of character in stories: markus: the rebel who wants freedom and fights for what he believes but he doesn't want war, only justice, and freedom for him and for his people. connor: the soldier who continuously follows the rules and makes sure that the rules are obeyed and followed, however at some point he realizes that sometimes certain rules or orders must be disobeyed to do what is right, so he starts a new path of "redemption" fighting against the ones he once obeyed, trying to make the world a better place and help people (and in this case android) to have a better life. kara: the protector who fights for love, the one who does everything in her power to protect and take care the ones she loves, the one who follows her heart and only wants the best for the ones around her, even if sometimes she has to dirt her hands a little, the one who earns the respect and love of the ones around her by her actions and her strong will. 3 great kinds of great characters (that usually are complex, full of emotions and that develop over time), all represented in this game. even though the characters can vary depending on the choices you make in the game, I think that they were made to fulfill the 3 kinds of personalities that i mention and they did it damn well.

This game was so emotional. Just wow.

Canadians, even when they're not ment to be they end up being the good guys...

Welcome to Canada everybody. Land of peace, snow, coffee, horrifying antler cows, and now robots.

So much better than the officer glancing at the TV and seeing violence and calling them out to security ;-;

I love this ending. It's so damn heartwarming and the fact that Kara calls alice her DAUGHTER makes it even more heartwarming. An android family, starting a new life for their own good.

I have to admit I cried in this scene. When I first played Detroit in this scenario it was only Kara and Alice left, Luther was dead. And when I slowly moved forward i was given the option to sacrifice myself or don't. I chose not to because I didn't want to leave Alice by herself. So when I went down to the immigration officer and he scanned Kara, she suddenly just said "please... we just want to be free" and the officer looked up at the TV seeing how Marcus was peacefully protesting and sacrificing himself when the officer let us through, then all of a sudden I started crying. I was trying to go for the good ending with everyone alive, which I failed with Luther, Simon and others except the main 3. But all the hard choices I made and the mistakes I did even though I seriously wanted to have Marcus attack back. It all somehow paid off in the end and seeing just a little mercy through all the hardships just made me tear up bad. Detroit is a damn good game for me. It doesn't matter about any negative reviews this might have gotten. People should play it at least once in their lives.

Dear Canadian immigration officer, I am thankful for what you done to those androids.

You know what this ending reminds me of? The tech demo Kara where once the guy running the tests on the android Kara things she’s defective because she feels alive, she begs him to be free and he lets her. Coincidence? I think not. 🤔

when you find out about the backstory of Todd, it's heartbreaking because when you first meet him; you instantly think he is a complete asshole but over time, you learn why he bought an android that looks like his daughter Alice in first place :(

i feel like this ending is extremely difficult to get, considering the game makes it seem if you don’t sacrifice one, all will die

This entire scene shows me how EVERY decision, across all three characters stories matter. That border control guy who is truely a hero in this story; wouldn’t have let them through it Markus wasn’t conducting a peaceful protest on the camp.

The reason that this ending is possible because markus didn't take the violence route where he kills people and breaks the android parking thingy when they convert more androids :)

I was so stressed in this part of the game, i felt guilty to steal the ticket, i thought that they would die on the border but when i heard "welcome to canada" i started to cry like a child, i liked so much the trio and i was so happy for them. Man this game was amazing

I'm always shedding tears when I hear her say "it's over alice, we're free". As if it erupts from the bottom of her heart, but also very serene at the same time.

The moment where todd and alice hugged made me tear up, reminds me of my distance from my father...

I swear I shed a tear everytime Luther dies. Well that goes for everyone that dies, but mostly Luther cuz he's such a nice person.

You took a leap of faith with that last answer with the guard. Maybe that's what defines being conscious, taking a leap of faith even when your logic tell ls you otherwise. Putting your faith in something other than yourself. Quite potectic considering you're an android.

This game's amazing. It first tells you the story of all the three main characters and eventually makes them meet and impact each other's storylines so much.

Holy crap, Valorie Curry is an incredible actress. Compared to the bravery of Connor and Markus, she really captures the fear that Kara has. She isn’t a fighter like the other two but her love for Alice keeps her going no matter what.

Kara's smile is soooo genuine! I love it!

I just realized something... Kara and Alice are going to die soon in Canada, there are no Biocomponents, no parts for androids, nothing. If they need to recharge or change parts. They will die.

That Officer is my new favorite character. This is MUCH better that the bad ending. Don’t look for it. It isn’t worth your time. All you’ll do is cry.

That ending is what makes Quantic Dream amazing. The first playthough I lost Kara, Alice and Luther in the attack on Jericho. I replayed the game again with the sole purpose of making sure Kara, Alice and Luther made it. The whole border checkpoint section had me on the edge of my seat, getting misty. I didn't want to sacrifice anybody and I was practically begging at the screen for the border agent to let them through.

Was that guy with the scanner who took pity on them the painter’s son? If so then he got his own arc in the game: starting off looking down upon Marcus which led to his father’s death, him going to pay his father respects only to find Markus there paying respect and they share a silent conversation, finally, looking at androids different and so when he realised the situation that this ‘family’ of androids was in he let them go through

As soon as I seen the flag I was like YAYYYYY ITS CANADA

Honestly, I was really lucky and got the best ending for all 3 characters I couldn't have had a better experience.

I could not bring myself to sacrifice anyone and was worried I thought I was done but the guy with the scanner letting me through made me cry it’s not often a video game makes me feel this way that guy is a legend in this ending at least
