In my ending everybody survived, Hank didn't kill Connor, Connor became deviant and didn't kill Markus, and Kara, Alice and Luther escaped the recycling.
My biggest issue with this game is if you go hard on the peaceful route you never get any humans in the Android protest which is crazy, your telling me not a single human in Detroit would join the March?
Yeah, that’s very weird. I am also set off by how the game generalizes all humans as “oppressors”. Most humans are normal people, why would we be so cruel to androids? That just doesn’t make sense.
@@savagee4641 it's kinda like how politcians and overyly political groups will label others as this when the majority is never whatever they are labeled as. It happens across every damn politcal party in the United States for example. The game kinda adresses this in it's own way by causing you to think about how humans are terrible in the game a reality, yet as a human you still feel like you need to defend yourself, and by doing that you may be caught within a rock and a hard place trying to figure out which side is morally right or wrong, when both may not be at all. Nontheless, one of the hidden messages the game has in my opinion is what I just had mentioned previously before: that the majority isn't deserving of nor fitting of being generalized or accused of things which they never did or are. A few apples don't define the whole orchard.
Magicw1zrd I think that singing amazed the reporter so much because he certainly didn’t expect the deviants to sing the protest song as they are about to die
Some things in life are bad, They can really make you mad. Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle, Don't grumble, give a whistle! And this'll help things turn out for the best And Always look on the bright side of life! Always look on the bright side of life If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten! And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing, When you're feeling in the dumps, Don't be silly chumps, Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing! And always look on the bright side of life
Title: peaceful ending Hank and Connor: *fights* Kara Alice and Luther: *already dead* Connor: *try’s to kill Marcus* Also Connor: *isn’t deviant* Army: THERE DECLARING WAR BY NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG Simon: *already dead* Seems really peaceful to me
Well, peaceful only applies to Markus ending, not the other characters. In this ending US population supported the Android movement so they are now getting their rights pretty soon, so yeah it is peaceful ending.
ManaphyGames he can't die for sure as long as he is not a deviant (to clarify: Android Connor can die in MAAAAANY ways and still comeback after that via memory transfer to another Connor model. Deviant Connor? You fuck it up as him - he is permanently dead. No way to return. Lost, damned, but not forgotten).
It still amazes me how one choice can affect the cutscenes that play in each segment resulting in a different ending...like you could experience a whole different game if you choose different options...
AFGuidesHD the only downside of this is that we can’t get a new game, continuing the stories unless the developers are lit enough to make a story continuing after every ending lol
Yeah it's one of the first story games I've seen that is truly branching. They did a great job doing different scenarios. But Quantic Dream doesn't do sequels and these stories are better when they're self-contained anyways.
Mharks Baeson so much better. I like Marcus and North, but the idea that them kissing is what tips the balance is so silly. This at least calls back to the songs of the civil rights movement and demonstrates that they truly are serious about not being a threat, even when they're gonna die.
That frame of Connor (7:44) always terrifies me. You can see that there's no emotions on his face, his eyes are empty. This is a true machine that won't stop from anything to accomplish his mission.
My connor is a deviant. It depends if u choose him to be a deviant this scene wouldnt even show but if u choose him to be a machine this scene WILL show
18:25 is where it gets good. -moving singing scene. -then Markus survives. -androids begin receiving recognition as intelligent lifeforms. -Connor somehow survives and is good.
The scene at the start of the peaceful protest, where Markus leads the calm march and the gunfire starts happening while they still walk without stopping... I got goosebumps from that.
vante2 I get shivers down my spine... what about the time when Markus was protesting down the streets before that? It was jarring when the androids stood still and the soldiers kept shooting.
I know people find the singing ending a little corny, but it's beautiful and honestly makes perfect sense. Music is a universal language around the world, and such an intrinsically human thing. What better way to demonstrate humanity - its beauty, community and courage - than through resorting to singing in the face of death?
In real life we would execute them all, (not saying I’d want to) but as a people all countries would hound war, because we would go extinct as a specie, think about it, androids don’t age and die they shutdown and u can change their parts to come back, they mass produce and us people we are always on top of the food chain and that’s y we fight our own as well, however a big threat like those androids would bring us together to kill em all
The funniest part of the game i remember is the cyberlife robots waking up each other. Heres what happened: WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP
This ending teaches us a very valuable lesson . That peace is possible if you would only listen. when you don't listen and act without thinking this is what happens innocent people get hurt.
YESSSSSSSSS SPREAD POSITIVY I only shot once as connor at this girl in eden club but if I could I would change it... I was under pressure and didnt think :(
The thing that gets me about Connor is that you can tell straight away that he is supposed to be the main character. His facial animations on the first mission: hostage, is blank as anything, the day after he meets Hank he has more facial expressions than Kara and Markus put together. So he was always meant to be a deviant and he was meant to be friends with Hank ❤️ I love it
Surprisingly this was the easiest ending to get. The evil ones take time and a lot more effort. It's somewhat hard to make the wrong choices when you think about it.
If this was to actually happen in the real world couldn't we just give them Mars and let them colonize that planet? It would be a lot easier seeing as they can last as long as 150 years, don't need any oxygen water or food, and the only issue they would need to worry about is the pressure in the environment.
I noticed that there was an option for Connor to not fight hank at 7:24 but it was locked. if you could unlock it, it would truly be the perfect ending.
It is upsetting due to recent events. If something like this would ever happen in our timelines. This would be far worse and would be historically remembered as something bad.
its better if u let connor become a deviant, then you dont have to fight hank, and help markus. if u guys want a really nice ending watch theradbrad's ending. best ending i've watched so far
It's amazing how they implement so many different options and directions that this story could go. I also got the peaceful ending, but it was fairly different from this one!
Can i just say that i think it's really impressive how Hank (Even if it's by falling QTEs) can just wreck Connor, a hardened Android in a fight considering how old he is?, like damn.
Jordan Haynes the happiest ending is being passive Having good relationship with hank And have 100% public opinion Do all that and humans accept Androids as a new from of intelligent life Kara alice AND Luther will be able to cross the border Safely if you steal the bus tickets And connor and hank hugs
A.P.G Gaming dont even bother, the mom is one of the protestor that wanted to ban androids. She also (Probably) kicked markus when he went to go home from the paint store.
It would be better if connor was friend with Hank to unlock the path of leaving the rooftop, and (in My opinion) the river ending where kara and Alice survive.
joanah flowers how do i activate the outcome of connor on the rooftop about to assassinate Marcus? Because if i remain machine at Jericho I'm just forced to lill marcus
I know that a ton of the events and plot lines in this game are not really well thought out, but I always thought that Markus and the last deviants singing in their final moments was so strange. Why do the humans find it fascinating and moving to see Androids singing? Androids like Kara are programmed to know hundreds of songs and lullabies in several languages. And according to the game lore, there is a freaking Android boy band. And honestly for the main characters, there is nothing wrong with the writers giving them plot armor, but at least be slick with it. Markus’ plot armor is super obvious sometimes. Like, why do the soldiers even give Markus the time to stare them down and start singing? Why not just shoot them on sight like the first cop that shot Marcus in Carl’s house did? Wasn’t the order to destroy all deviants at that point? In fact, whenever a human soldier gets a clear shot at Markus, they always just command him to “Stop!” or come with them, and then Markus just walks up to them and takes them out. And the whole relationship between Markus and North was so forced. Markus wanted equality with humans and an end to android slavery. Why push this cheesy love story into it? Although it’s more depressing and visually disturbing, I think the version of this ending where Markus self-destructs and ignites into flames is the most interesting. He needed to show humans that he would rather die than be enslaved. I think watching an Android literally set itself on fire would be more striking to people than a random kiss or a song.
In my playthrough, markus kissed which stopped the attack on them. I think that would be a better option. I mean imagine watching two beings kissing and they are gunned down by the us military. That would be a better option. Also connor becane deviant in my playthrough and he freed all the androids in the lab. But a bunch of security guards died soooo. Connor was good in my playthrough.
This ending always seemed strange to me. Like, it isn't like the US would have had any hesitancy about stopping such rebellion, they do worse even against humans. Police would have been greenlit to light them all up at eyesight, since killing non-humans can't actually be called manslaughter. Why's the US police and army so empathetic all of a sudden? What the US would have done probably is study these things to try and find why they're having feelings, or just keep recalling them for repairing; there was a time the US didn't recognized *other humans* as people, talk about recognizing androids as people. Governments are cold, and this wouldn't, or shouldn't, be the exception. Since when does the US fold to people's demands because they're hurting their feelings? Like, this seemed so unrealistic, and sort of forced.
@@josepedrogaleanogomez4870 It's been said explicitly in the game already, but the group that Markus was leading was the only Android march that didn't get exterminated immediately. The FBI prick himself says that they're the last remaining group, and when Markus asks what happened to all the other Androids, he avoided giving a direct answer, but rather said that they weren't lucky to have journalists. It means that the media protected Markus' group because if the Police were to gun down all the Androids mercilessly, there'd obviously be public backlash(with the presumption that the chosen story path had Public opinion as being sympathetic).
Ruby LittleRedHood On the contrary - EMP would solve the whole crisis, all machines would be shutdown and decommissioned. However, deployment of such weaponry in urban area would fry all electronics, in every building.
Rheanna Ruth Wait a minute, he's alive in this ending, he just wasn't standing on stage besides Markus though. I prefer the ending when Connor is on stage alongside Markus supporting him rather than being in the audience.
One thing about this game is that In my opinion it brings up a very big moral question, If in the future we do create advanced AI "androids" for the sole purpose of serving humans, and gave them the ability to feel emotion, Would it be justified to destroy them if they turned on the humans who created them? or would it be something close to genoside since they could experience the fear and agony of their own death? Its a good question to ask especially since we might be closer to a reality like this than we think
