A community came together Wednesday to demand drug dealers to leave their Detroit neighborhood.

I hope this works out, there needs to be HUNDREDS of people out in these streets. But it only takes a few to watch, fight and pray to get this senseless violence under control. Keep up the positivity Detroit. God Bless you!!

My next door neighbor Chet Morgan, murdered in Detroit, my best friend from Grayling Elementary Toney Samuel murdered on Derby & State Fair, my dad's former tenant shot multiple times at the convenience store he worked at. My old friend and coworker Shane from high school strangled to death in a dope house trying to get dope, and then there was Salam Daniel a Chaldeantown figure with a checkered past executed in his car. The list goes on. Enough is enough. Humanity needs to reaffirm its commitment to civilization.

If you want ppl to stop selling drugs help give them opportunities to make just as much in a legal business. No one can survive on 11$ an hour and still have gas money at the end of the week to get back and forth to work the following week. I get what they r doing and yes I'm sure it does help but other changes need to be made as well. I guess this is a start thou. This is what community looks like.

I said the same thing, people don't start selling drugs because they want to hurt other people it's because they want to take care of themselves and their family and there's no other opportunities that pay well enough to do so.
