I've never seen such a cohesive unit from top to bottom before. Sheila Hamp and Chris have put together the best staff the league has ever seen

People want name value but players can develop in a culture overtime, Houston,Pascal,Levi they’ve been there 2-3 years already so they know the work behind the scenes and the competition. Now it’s just about fundamentals and playbook. Not every pick we make has to be Amon-Ra,Hutch or Sewell.

Idk why the fanbase has seemingly soured on Houston. Dude was insane the back half of 22. It wasn't by fluke either the guys bend is elite elite, like 99th percentile elite. He's gonna hopefully stay off of special teams this year and hopefully not be used in coverage. Let him do what he's great at, killing QB's. He's gonna get double digits this year if used for that sole purpose

@@joshlewis575 They only want Hutch to be good ,they are afraid Houston may get more sacks. They don't understand that more than one person has to be productive it's a team effort not just Hutch. I follow a lot of teams this is the only fans that act like this .Some fans don't even want him to make the 53 man roster.

Give Davenport and Houston a chance. Davenport was the 8th pick in the draft. IF he can stay healthy watch out. Same with Houston.

They right side players does not have to be elite , just solid Hutch is not elite himself.

I think it’s clear that Brad Holmes wanted that second elite DE. But he just couldn’t find a good fit for the team, under the salary cap in free agency, nor that he could select in the draft, that would be a better pick for the team then Arnold or Rakestraw. I’m hopeful for our group of four DEs that I like to call “The Committee”. If all of them are good - not great but just good - that unrelenting rotation of the four each with their different styles might be a nightmare to prepare for.

Lol. Could some in this fanbase get any more clueless? In the 43, your LDE and OLB are your rush players. Everybody else is an accessory. As long as Davenport pushes the outside inside, it’s up to Hutchinson to finish plays. I have no clue why fans whined for the 43 for years only to complain when the team builds the roster like a 43. You want the number of rushers you get at LB in a 34. I’m sorry you don’t know any of this.

@@bp8376how in the world is hutch not elite? Dude is non stop, great against the run, and gets after the QB as much as anyone in the league. He'll challenge for the sack record this year, book it
