I live in Rochester ny not many lions fans here. 5 maybe lol. This is bills country. I'm from grand rapids but haven't lived in Michigan for 28 years. I dont miss lions games I've always had to go to the bar never get to hear it but I'm there. I didnt miss not 1 of the 0 an 16 season went to the bar every week. My son is 21 he was born here in ny he could have been a bills fan an family here tried to recruit him. But aiden became a huge lions fan. It's brought us closer. We still don't miss games an now go to 1 or 2 a year. I've been a die hard lions fan since 1985 an haven't missed a game in prob 25 years. So it feels so good having what we do now. An for 30 years I've always said it was our owners. I truly believe now I was right all those years cause what happened when ownership person in charge changed to a person who actually cared. Lions fan for 51 years. Originally from the far southwest corner (Dowagiac) but now live just below the line in Indiana (Elkhart). The Michiana area has always had quite a few Bears fans around, Colts fans after they moved to Indy, and a smaller group of Lions fans. Local media is mostly based in South Bend, and has always given more coverage to the Bears and Colts. After this past season, though, I've been seeing more Lions fans on both sides of the line. Watch Vaki's highlight film - it's insane. He's definitely going to move up the depth chart. He looked as good as Gibbs on a couple of plays. No lie! They can use him this season early if he's got a good grasp of Johnson's offense. Some of the other guys have had difficulty with it from what I've heard - it's really technical.
