I'm glad you brought Doc back on, because it just reaffirms my decision to stop watching this show. He can dislike Stafford as much as he likes, but Stafford is a great QB and played a fantastic game. Dan Campbell went out of his way to recognize how good of a game Stafford played in week 1. He was playing with 3rd stringers at damn near ever position on the OL and lost one of the best WRs in the NFL during the game and still nearly beat the Lions. I'm a diehard Lions fan, but I will give credit where credit is due, Stafford played fantastic. Just like he did for the Lions for all those years while dealing with a dysfunctional front office and coaching staffs. I will always pull for the Lions, but that doesn't mean I will be as emotionally retarded as the Doc when giving recognition to someone on another team who plays well.

Staford was the reason they were so close. He helped them keep the ball so much. He got the ball out quick to stop hutch. I believe he is way better than baker

I liked what Davenport brought, the only miscue i saw all game was that offsides. Other than that he had a solid game, once Reader joins the rest these guys will start to generate some chemistry and I think our D line starts to get home for a couple more sacks each game.

There’s more than one person in Detroit with nothing to lose and nothing to their name and might not care who Jamo is. I understand both perspectives but have that in the back of my mind.

Somebody needs to tell jamo to stop trying to jump every time he scores a touchdown he's going to get hurt one of these times and I swear if you look at every one of his touchdowns he leaps into the end zone

I bet if you look at every touchdown he scored he's leaped in but St Brown has plenty of TDS where he doesn't but I remember the one your talking about where St Brown did a front flip but he got hit and on top of that St Brown is built a lot more sturdy then Jamo is so it doesn't worry me as much

When talking about the pass rush, it seems like everybody forgets about Josh Paschal. He's rotating with Davenport. Alim had 5 sacks last season and missed 4 games. Had he not got injured, he could have been close to 9 or 10. It's not just DE's that are responsible for sacks. Also why are we keeping Cominski, who's gonna be injured the majority of the season, taking up a roster spot? Last season he only had 2 sacks while getting the most snaps opposite of Hutch.

The O-Line played good, the running backs played good, Jamo played good, but we can't have Tom Kennedy in a regular rotation and think we're gonna get to the Super Bowl. It's clear we need an x receiver because Raymond was hardly getting covered and they weren't throwing to him. Rewatch the Rams and Bucks game from the playoffs last season and I think Reynolds will be a lot more appreciated and missed big time.

@@tlee7653 Don't forget, there was a pass interference call on the defense when Jamo scored the touchdown. That could have had something to do with that catch.

Linebacker is the only position Brad hasn't drafted a star WR St Brown/jamo TE Laporta O line Sewell RB Gibbs D line Hutch safety Branch CB Arnold this year he needs to fill that hole and don't try trying me Rodrigo is a star

Doc, you are not wrong! Jamo is getting paid millions of dollars to play a sport and win. His priority should be taking care of his body. Taking care of one’s body includes getting enough sleep! I am disappointed that he continues to show immaturity. He said it himself that he wanted to be one of the best to ever play the game and this certainly isn’t how one does that.

Look, I wanna beat Stafford as much as the next guy, but why is Doc always hating on Stafford? Goff threw potentially 3 picks himself. One that was. One that was dropped, and potentially one that St. Brown knocked away. It's football, but to key in on Stafford is just personal. I get it. You don't like the guy. But let's keep it football Doc. Good show as usual guys!

I think your going to see an entirely different game plan against them! I am looking for a lot of TE passes to Laporta and others close! Even the backs out of the back field! A lot of short and middle field passes! and then the acasional run!
