Swift is a really talented back...especially if he can stay healthy. I'm more impressed with the running lanes the Lions O-Line was creating...and it should be even better this year at full staff.
While Philly may have the best offensive line I find it funny that Eagle fans don't acknowledge that the Lions have a top 5 offensive line. He's really only benefitting from this not for the best offensive line but Jalen Hurts and defenses having to plan against the QB and him. All in all I think he'll be decent with some good games but you won't see any 200yrd games or any crazy stats but just some crazy highlights that are more than likely short lived- at least from what I've seen from him so far
Hey Brad Holmes sent Swift home. That’s cool. But as a Lions fan. I’ll take Montgomery and Gibbs in the backfield together over Swift any day of the week. And for every Swift highlight, there’s at least one visit to the IRL. Good luck with that.
@Dakota J. yes sir sauce went to and played at my high-school Martin Luther King high in Detroit I still volunteer there during football season til this day know him well
As a Ravens fan, I almost wish we got him. I’ve been following him since he was one of the top running backs in the draft. His speed and elusiveness is on another level and can be a key weapon for the Lions if he stays healthy and is used right.
@@survivingwatson7430 You're absoutley right. It's a collection of multiple classes. Like the #1 rated RB of 2019 in Josh Jacobs or the 2021 #1 rated RB in Najee Harris. All performing as intended. My point is, if you were rated to do exactly what your lovely video shows, you aren't underrated. He has one of the best OL's in the league and is a monster when he's on the field, but that's just it. He's yet to complete a season. No one thinks he's underrated. They just hope he can finish a season. 'Netflix' Craig Reynolds, now that boy is underrated LOL. Great Vid dude
@@rabbitgundam4420 swift easily one the most well rounded backs and has elite speed. theres not 5 RBs that are better at all of vision ,breaking tackles ,catching ,and quickness/speed. he still had 1000 total on 200 touches with a coach that called horrific plays and the worst passing game in the nfl and a pathetic overall roster. you cant expect ppl to be elite in horrible situations ,he outplays his teammates by extreme margins ,thats all he can do there lmao. guarantee hes better immediately on 25 other teams
@@survivingwatson7430 Another back that has yet to finish a season. His stats contradict your claims. 1000 yard rusher his first two seasons around the league avg per carry. With a steady decline in attempts per game, yet his pass attempts have increased drastically year over year(27 in 2019 to 64 in 2021). If they are throwing to him more, and rushing hm less that says something, and last year even featured his first game where he wasn't the starter. Either he's lost it, or my guess is he is banged up. Either way "least effcient backs of all time" just isn't backed up by any data at all.
Defense and getting the 🏈 down the field will win us games. Good to know we have a back that averages about four yards a carry. Then again if this is what most of you lions fans are excited about. Then AVERAGE we’ll be AGAIN this year. 🤦🏾♂️
You don't know football. He's a one-two punch back working with Jamaal Williams. He led the league in yards created per attempt last year and he was one of the best receiving backs last year.
Ppl don't really watch film 😒 😪 😕...If anything he has to learn how to go down once he has gained the 1st down. Injuries are likely when guys try to get extra yards...He is a dog! Dogs want every inch! But when he's healthy he's the best 👌 😌
I hate when a quarterback could throw a block but stands there and watches the play . Seeing Geoff several times doing that . Either they are trained not to do that or they don’t care . I wanna blue collar Detroit QB , blocking , running , jumping around ,excited about being a Lion .
Imagine if Detroit had drafted Jonathan Taylor instead of swift. I like swift a lot but he's injured often. Taylor would have been a perfect match with Dan Campbell and what he wants to do on offense.
