This is a beautiful piece of real estate. To find it in its original state is amazing. No on added paint to that beautiful wood trim, those ornate glass doors are in perfect condition…This house has been loved. A potential buyer can update the kitchen and finish the basement and quite possibly double their investment in a few years.
The basement is the difference between living up NORTH and living down South. I lived in North Chicago. Had a basement almost as large as this one. I live in Dallas Texas and i have a utility shed. Big difference
In NORTH CAROLINA. You're near the water. And your state is a continuation of homes built up north. In Texas we have slabs of concrete. We have tornado season too. But that's too much for a basement to be built. Even in Arkansas not every home. Maybe 15% of my hometown had a basement. In Georgia? Nope. Alabama? Nope.
not quite. it's so that it wouldn't be stolen during the rehab process, not because people are pilfering acs left and right. and you may even be surprised who is doing the taking. you can't take an ac to the pawn shop; you take it and put it on your older house in the suburbs.
Yes, stealing a/c units is common! You aren't wrong. Yard is now fully fe cedar and the cage has prevented another incident. A/c unit was a Trane so worth protection!
Hi, it's under contract now and closing soon. Asking price was $140k. Once it's under contract all other details stay private until it closes at which time the information becomes public record
Yes, but very secure. These folks have lived there for over 30 years with minimal problems. But I understand what you're saying. The new owners are great people, so maybe that will start to spread throughout the neighborhoods. To change the world, we have to start in our own backyards And go outward!
I Love this Vintage Style Home with all the Period Touches. The Only Negitive, it's in Detroit!! Bad Area!! I'm sure there are Masses of 'Homeless Tents" not far from this home and Lot's of Crime. This would be the "Deal Breaker" for Me!!
