I see a very good defense forming, very slowly, but Edvinsson, Johansson coming in, hopefully Wallinder and Buium moving in and ASP - i think this defense group will be a force in the future. The Wings are small up front, but the forwards moving in quickest are gritty and smart. I hope to see a large forward that can knock heads join the group in the future. Good Preview show
You guys are sleeping on Raymond. He was so clutch the last month and a half of the season. I think he has an absolute breakout year and becomes a legit superstar this year.
Matt I am happy to see you will keep the podcast going. Devin will be missed but I'm sure you will do fine. I think you were a bit nervous today but you will do well, just check your stats a bit better before coming on air. People can be brutal as you already know.
Matt come on Cobb was the center on the 3rd line with razz and fish. Kane only sign a 1yr contract. Let's r fact straight if you r going to talk redwings hockey.
Wings are a soft team, Stevie has made some terrible signings that cost the team any hope of getting some quality players,,Raymond will not exceed expectations,, and the Wings miss the playoffs !! Canuks and Habs have a much better prospect pool as does the Sens,,,Yzerman needs to make some noise soon . He is there in Detroit because of what he did not has done,,A new coach might be in order as well...
You think the Canucks have a better prospect pool than Detroit? Seriously. Edvinsson ASP Danielson Kasper Cossa and Augustine No way Vancouver has 10 better prospects than Detroit's top 10. It's easy to say Montreal is better after they drafted Demidov, and Hutson is known now, was Montreal 1 point out of the playoffs last year? No. Was Ottawa that close? No. Steve Yzerman needs to keep going and doing what he has been - patiently building a team that will contend yearly. Seider/Edvinsson/ASP Montreal or Ottawa doesn't have that.
@@ronproietti6050 I'll mention again that all these rebuilding clubs - Anaheim, Chicago, Columbus, Montreal, Buffalo, Ottawa - none were as close to the playoffs as Detroit was last year, so I guess all their rebuilds are going in the wrong direction because they're behind Detroit, right?
I see you live in the past,,one season proves NOTHING,, I'm talking the future man not what WAS but what is to be . Wings did not make the show last year and will not be there this coming season..As for the Vancouver comment you made I'll reply in the appropriate box..
