back in the 90's I used to got to a club called orbit in Morley, in Leeds UK, it was one of its kind of club, Jeff Mills used to come over and play there, I've just searched detroit techno and this came up, I'm actually stood listening and my face cheeks, shoulders and back have from time to time had that kind of glowy rushy feeling come and go, and that's just getting a buzz off life these days, back in the day it would have been pills speed coke and a few shots, this is a wonderful mix, thank you for sharing your jive with me bro, seriously thinking of getting some decks again, this might have just made my mind up
Thats my favorite combo as well, shots and all the amphetamines possible, not at once tho. Then some water while the euphoria lasts to not overheat. Fucking good shit.
Did you get decks in the end? This mix is very naughty. Nothing beats a bit of badass 90s techno. Wish I was old enough back then to experience it - seems kinda different now...
On yerself pal!!...You cant go wrong with Detroit techno and it was undoubtedly the FIRST music of its kind and helped shape the early british rave scene. Promoters and artists here were very friendly with likes of Derrick May, Juan Atkins (he was first to make techno in like 81 or therebouts)
I'm from Lancaster about 70 miles from Leeds and I once tried to get a minibus of us to go to the The Orbit. It didn't come off. It was like herding cats and I couldn't get them to stump up the money, so I never got there. We knew how good it was. We heard about it. Surprised you didn't mention e though :)
This channel, and the work put into it, is a labour of love. That is why it is so so exclusive and elite. Only a true lover of this sonic art can put together such a fine collection of supreme excellence in these mixes. The Latin word Amo - Amare, To Love is where the word "Amateur" is derived. As opposed to a Professional, who does work for a living, for money, the amateur does so because He or She Loves what they do. However here I think we have the work of an Aficionado. A Connoisseur. I for one am most grateful for it. Finding this calibre is most challenging indeed.
@@KevoRidesFit Mine too, that is truly instructive and brilliant. I never knew that. It brings a whole new meaning to life. Thank you Cyan, that is a brilliant comment.

...this started to play and a single sweat drop began to roll over my cheek from my temple. It's still going, currently at the jawbone, which begans to tighten my face in to a grin.
