I‘m a little sad that this style isn’t produced anymore today. For me, it holds a lot of deepness and gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into the sound and perception of time and space. Today, a lot is so fast paced and doesn’t give you the opportunity to dive deep. Unfortunately, that’s what’s popular right now but i think this direction here that Ben and Marcel are showing is the perfect example of danceable and also driving electronic dance music.
I wasn't implying plagiarism on Klock and Dettmann's part, just noting that the syncopation felt similar, and the way the breakdown was introduced and implemented was sharing a similar idea. The execution is clearly different, and what I think the concept behind the tracks is can be arrived at independently. Clearly KidsInCombat disagrees, and I don't particularly mind. My intention was more so to direct people to a new artist that makes comparable music, not to knock these two great producers.
