@@stank7200 Nothing against the game, but how does Adam fit to Icarus? And in two games shouldn‘t the symbolism be based on more than a single greek myth?
Oh, wow! I thought Icarus Dash was just some powerful electric blast. But after rewatching, I figured this is indeed Icarus Dash. Some nice attention to details here, Mate
The OST for HR was easily one of the best things about the game. I still listen to it to this day. Tracks I would suggest are: Main Menu theme Penthouse, Icarus theme Endings theme
Human Revolution: Jensen learns to accept his new robotic body and chooses to add additional upgrade to make him a greater threat in battle. Mankind Divided: Hes basically Jesus
Deus Ex : Hr released in 2011 and Deus Ex: MD released 2016... This mean Trilogy's last part will release in 2021.... I hope i will wrong about release year :(((
Of course it’s prettied up to look cinematic, but it is genuinely impressive how much portrayed here is actually in the game like the blades you can fire and that energy dash. I wish more developers would treat cinematic trailers like this.
Ivan Berk (the orange hoodie guy) is in the game as well, you can even break into his house in Golem City to find out more info about him. I always thought that was cool
always watch it when im drunk (and thats often) for some reason. This, and HR trailer too, where Eliza says that "its not the end of the world but we can see it from here". All there cyberpunk2077 trailers looks like a child's play after these
+Kevin Sosa the best trailer i've ever seen in mi life its: "cod bo3 ember teaser" its very similar to this one, it shows the progress of humans from 1990 to 2065
I agree however this one is most hype (Action-Focused properly) and a bit shorter so more watchable. So shower and paranoia against Illuminati HR trailer. When Blade Runner feeling and punching everything, MD trailer.
Eidos has the best cinematographic trailers in the whole industry. So much symbolism done right. Just look at the 1:20. There are, like, Icarus wings behind him.
+Abdulrahman Ahdab I only partially agree with you on that. while I do agree that this game deserves more recognition (especially since Square Enix is not as nearly as avaricious as say... EA or Ubisoft), the fact remains that this trailer is pre-rendered, and with that I can't help but wonder: "What is it about the actual game itself that they don't want me to see?" I know they put out a gameplay demonstration alongside this, and I trust Squenix a lot more than other companies in the industry (like Gearbox), but I can't help but feel a little bit skeptical about what this game is actually going to be like when I play it, especially after Aliens: Colonial Marines. Still I hope Mankind Divided turns out awesome, and I hope millions of people buy the game when it comes out.
TNSinc98 they made a 101 trailer and the game will be playable at e3 so don't worry it will be good. The deus ex team in Eidos Montreal doesn't mess up with their games and they're working really hard. And honestly it boggles my mind how games like horizon zero dawn and recore get more recognition than this game, like wtf is wrong with people? They don't want to play a mature cyberpunk RPG? They don't want to experience a game with unique open-ended gameplay and real choices and consequences?
Its a shame he *SPOILER ALERT* Dies too early :'( Great character.....They should do some kind of Gray Fox type experiment on him and bring his awesomeness back :D
Crimson Gamer Tip if you're not sure on how much to save up: You can build a perfectly decent gaming rig in the $5-600 range, cheaper even if you don't want higher graphics or you wait to go for parts on sale.
You mean human revolution is exceptional for its music and story... no one knows bout MD. As much as I am excited, I am also afraid... if it doesnt live up to its expectations
The unaugmented are killing the augmented, the augmented are killing the unaugmented, and Adam is in the center killing both. This promises to be a very morally complex game.
so sad that this game has had almost no publicity. human revolution was drop dead amazing. the plot was stunning and gameplay was exquisite. too bad fluff-filled crowd pleasing games like CoD and Halo have the spotlight
Totally agree with you. Probabaly because they're just better advertisers. At least deus ex has a large hardcore fanbase, not angry kids like Cod and Halo
***** I think this blatant example in the trailer will be pretty much the extent of it, just going by Human Revolution. They didn't try too hard to be like, "Hey look how symbolic we're being!"
***** i think it'll be subtle like the last game. the imagery was only apparent in the trailer, though the symbolism was still there. the developers seem to really want to keep this game tied to an alternate version of the real world and keep it as similar as possible while bringing up moral questions and causing us to think about what it means to be human and how our attitudes and choices can affect the lives of others. the new Deus Ex games can be pretty deep if you let them be.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an inferior version of Deus ex, and the idiots at square Enix decided to spend billions on a stupid avengers game when cyberpunk is skyrocketing
@@jasondads9509 deus ex is cyberpunk genre lol, cp2077 picked the name "cyberpunk" just because it's cool, imagine if there's a game called fantasy 2077 like that just wouldn't worked
+Xendrius Xendrius ! Just one Request . Could you make videos about Transhumanism and it's rise and how it's slowly and gradually transforming our lives ? Please make a video like that , I've had enough of the Magician Videos . I do believe that Demons exist or I'd rather not say Demons , the best word to use would be Jinns .
Pwasma Dwagon CGI stands for "Computer Generated Imagery" which is a form of computer graphics application. Harrison Jaeger's statement is somewhat pointless, but he is right to refer to what is presented in the trailer as graphics. I guess not knowing this makes you an ignorant dumbfuck.
FlakiCiociGosi we are obviously refering to game graphics generated with a graphics engine. His comment refered to teh classic bait developers use, showing pretty games and then downgrading the visuals, please try harder :v
I’m so sad that we don’t have a sequel yet. I love the Deus ex universe. I hope we will get a sequel one day, the series deserves it. I wish there was a way all the fans could let Square Enix know how badly we want it.
Well...all i know is: ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!!! Muahahahaha!...Anyway i like the concept/theme of this game...but to close to where things might be going??..in this world??....Interesting FoSho.......Hmm
This game pretty much represents our reality. Information/Media, Governments, everything manipulated by corrupt and powerful people, shaping our lives. Like Adam says, "It is a time of great innovation and technological advancement, but it is also a time of chaos and conspiracy".
deus ex was a franchise made to critique modern day society and corruption. And the deus ex games that did this the best are og Deus ex and human revolution
Gaurab Chatterjee Yeah he does.....but I know nothing still :( and Im everywhere because I was dead for a year, only returning two months ago, so its time to play ketchup :D
They really just need to make an CG animated series on Netflix about this freaking game ! This is one of the. Most badass trailers for a game makes you feel the intensity
DeathgGod sorry to burst yalls bubble its just an effect deus ex machina literally translates to the god in the machine. its a plot hole filler like the lord of the rings and the eagles it means a savior comes at the last second when logically the hero is doomed. its from greek playwrights.
hardwirecars DeathgGod the story of Icarus has been a recurring theme of the Deus Ex series since the original 2000 game, indicating the risks and tribulations that humanity undergoes in their attempts to ascend to godhood. This also feeds into the title "Deus Ex", where "Machina" is implied, as it taps into the literal translation as opposed to its trope.
This game is exactly represents our current world just yet the technologies are not as advance as in this game they really are our biggest enemies both in the game and in reality
@@king_big_pp Cyberpunk is noir, that is one of the key elements of the genre. 80's retrofuturism has nothing to do with cyberpunk, that's why CP77 always looked and felt like a GTA clone with a twist.
The weird thing is we're not to far from when this game takes place. And given the state of our society this setting scares me more than it entertains me.
+TheFroKnight So true man. Its going to be crazy when people are going to be on one side pushing for freedom to do whatever they wish augmentation wise and another wanting to put strict government regulation. That day will indeed come as technology is advancing at such a rapid pace. This game is very real in what will happen in possibly the next 10-20 years.
+Lawrence Kazzazi What if I lose a limb on a job accident or I really want to be a pilot but I don't make the cut. There are augmentations for that but people are gonna be against it when really it prohibits me from doing a job that matters. Now I'm having thoughts on what North Korea might try to pull if they get augmentations for there military.
TheFroKnight Ain't going to disagree with you there, you're right. Most of the time there will always be a bad side to something that could be very beneficial to society.
+TheFroKnight augmentations have the promise to benefit society but let's face it only the super rich and powerful will ensure only they will have access to the tech.
I love a trailer to a game that shows what you can do in game instead of lying to you. Deus ex and x-com two have delivered on their gameplay promises and more through their trailers.
I am thrilled they brought back the composer for Human Revolution, Michael McCann. The music is essential to the experience and Human Revolution's original score was incredible.
Carnage Racing I agree. My favorite soundtrack from Human Revolution was the main menu music. I could listen to it for hours.. And the music here starting from 2:27 is similar to Icarus from Human Revolution.
That's interesting. Looks like you might be fighting against the secret government which has enshrouded and delegitimized societies in all the Deus Ex games AND the "terrorists" as well. Could be a complex, respectable plot! Hope they kept the stealth mechanics and non-fatal takedowns in place, that's where I derive most of my enjoyment from the Deus Ex franchise.
Meh. The gameplay better not be anything like in that video. I like the utilization of Sarrif's wing sculpture to do a complete set in silhouette. Nice homage to the Icarus overtones they were going for in HR, I bet $50 they continue down the references and possibly mirror the outcome. So far I see 3 promising things: More Jensen dialog, more Eliza dialog, and the promise of more amazing music. I'm not sure I want to know what ending they chose to pick the storyline up from.
Mike Lanier I doubt it will be, at least, restricted to that sort of thing. Hope not... I think that was all about showing off the new doo-dads like metal skin and being able to shoot Jenson's arm blades. It'd be crazy to turn Deus Ex into an Arkham Asylum clone...
dieterdengler Well, I reckon you could just imagine all the thugs in Arkham City have metal arms, and pretend all the times they holler "IT'S THE BAT!!" that they're actually pondering the inherent value of privacy and save that dollar!
I like how the trailer not only implements and shows off every one of Adam's new augs, but almost everything he does in the trailer you can do in the game. All the characters from the trailer and events are recognizable in the game. Literally perfect honest marketing. Btw the game is a must buy. 10/10.
