@@Blei1986 I still managed to get 80+ hours of gameplay out of it so I'd say it's a fully fledged game. The story is cut short because Square Enix was money hungry with their shitty marketing stint. Hopefully when Eidos makes the final (if they ever do) we will get a proper 20-30 hour length game.
@@vladimirhorowitz Bosses in Human Revolution were terrible. The game lets you play how you want but then forces you into a combat scenario. Completely contradicts the rest of the game's design. For that reason alone Mankind Divided is better.
@@firestuka8850 Personally I'd love to see a remake of DE1 - not a reimagining that fundamentally alters the gameplay experience, not an HD texture mod that's dressed up as a game release, but the kind of remake that manages to balance modern design sensibilities with what made the old game so good. (That early 3D era is very hit or miss for me if I don't have the nostalgia for having played the game growing up - some games (Thief 1 and 2 come to mind) manage to transcend the problems of the era and are great experiences I love going back to, while others (Deus Ex 1 and Morrowind, for instance) I completely fail to get invested in enough to see past the graphical jank and to the excellent gaming experience these games are reputed to offer. And yes, that's partly a me problem, but with all the remakes being made these days, these are the kinds of games I'd love to see competent remakes of.))
God i love music. Even when ones life is devoid of meaning, or of substance, music allows you to find back to yourself and see meaning in your every day existense. It can give life narative.
Nah man, the first thing they'll do is change Jensen/Denton to a female/black/asian/transgender person who throws a lot of preaching around and holds candles in protest instead of solving problems, when he's/they're not inventing problems that is while sipping on wine and ranting on Twitter.
that would be really sick and we have the perfect actor in Keanu Reeves but wont happen in this state of the society, esp with all the queer shit goin on
I love the soundtrack for this game. Its a balance of future electronic and old humanity, added by the middle eastern and choir flares. It quickly shifts from very pleasant to very epic seamlessly.
this is the first time I've seen somebody else emphasize this old vs new relationship, which makes this soundtrack so special! Thank you, made my day :)
the first time I discovered this was 9 months ago and it was only 13k view, and in the last two months the views grown more than 30k , i'm glad that people finding this masterpiece now.
both games have amazing soundtracks for all the right moments my favorite is tf29 the gameplay for them both is superb i love the lore rich world, side quest and story
I wrote the Trophy Guides for the first and second one of this game years ago and really miss playing it. Love the soundtracks to them and wish to see another installment.
there's like 15-20 seconds in the middle of UTULEK Complex - Golem City where it just chills out and there's some kind of strings played and it's glorious. i believe the music changed depending on how far you progressed in the level, if so, i must've spent a lot of time in the section with that 20 second loop, because i honestly thought it was its own song. wish it was, that 20 seconds of string is solid.
The soundtrack is similar to DX:HR... that means this one's just as awesome! 💛 I'll probably never get to play the game, so I'll just believe it to be as good as HR... Thanks for sharing this. :') And OMG Janus and Versalife is here????
There's a song By GUNSHIP -"When You Grow up, Your Heart Dies (2018)" its very similar to the TF29 Theme at 26:24. the ambience synthesizer notes are almost similar.
So glad I got the game for free on Epic. Will be playing soon. I remember playing Human Revolution and absolutely loved it. The music is downright masterfully done.
17:10, you've been following the trail of clues, and the suspense has been cranked up to max as you're almost close to unveiling the secret ... then the monster suddenly appears and you find yourself running for your life!
1:27:00 How does his hair stand up in the rain? Is it interwoven with carbo-steel nano particles? Or some kind of cyber-gel? Enquiring minds want to know..
I have played both, I felt like cyberpunk city should have been bigger But they did deliver on the cds with the cards and all which mankind didn’t While mankind main story is impressive and VERY detailed, but I felt like the ending could have felt more meaningful like the human revolution one
I've extensive library and I cannot for the life of me see the problems with the game. They're really nothing. I'm playing "I never asked for this" difficulty. This is a brilliant game. Finish the story Eidos Montral!
I agree - also gotta say, I'm glad this one lacks a heavy-breathing red light district track. I always gotta skip that one in HR. It's fine in game, but not a fan of it in the OST
Michael A. McCann is the master of futuristic atmospheric sci-fi soundtracks. This is an absolute nostalgic masterpiece. Deus Ex is a legendary epic franchise and Adam Jensen is the OG. Amazing protagonist. God I love this series. So much life poured into it. Much cooler than Cyberpunk in my opinion (sorry Cyberpunk fans). That was just a technical mess. This is the real stuff. Everything looks so badass in it. Can't wait for the third title. So much electrified energy. Human Revolution is incredible too. Hearing these beautiful melodies always get me in a better mood. I can just feel how emotionally powerful and uplifting this music is. Mankind Divided is heavily underrated. A worthy sequel to an already great and a successful predecessor.
Dang, the Deus Ex series nails atmosphere and world-building so effortlessly and thoroughly. I did like Cyberpunk 2077 (for all its flaws) but it doesn't quite measure up to Deus Ex.
All of the music in this game is amazing but I would say Michael A. McCann provides the most nostalgia because he's the same composer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I love how atmospheric it is. Like electrified futuristic energy so awesome. I definitely felt less impressed by Cyberpunk 2077 than I did with the Deus Ex franchise. That was just a technical and glitchy broken mess.
I've been loosely watching my partner play the game and having very briefly skipped through the OST a few times I can't seem to find the part if the soundtrack that is playing around the part where you do the rotating puzzle. Anyone have any idea what track that is?
I'm lookin for a dynamic track when you just escape the poison room. You fly through Prague on light and there's a dynamic music while you walk throuh the city. I've never found that track on the ost and i loved it so mush. Can anybody help me find that one ?
